In the POV of Dream, 4AM, after Nightmare's Stream

I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. She said my actual name to me, which was relieving since I was hoping she didn't forget it. I pulled out my phone and went on my private twitter, scrolling through my dms when I see something strange. Someone sent me a tweet about the Nightmare situation.

It seemed like the interaction she was talking about. This was either fake or falsely said, and I really hope for Y/n's sake that it is false. I report the tweet and sigh. I'd hate to be in this position so I can only feel bad for her. I go to the Dream Team groupchat and begin a call. George picks up right away, seeing as it is 9AM for him. Sapnap, however, joins on the last ring, yelling about how it's 3AM.

"Sapnap shut up. What's up Clay, you never call this early?" George says, concerned.

"Someone is doxxing Y/n. Or I mean Nightmare."

"Wait, what," Nick says in a surprised tone.

"Some teenage girls heard her voice and followed her. When she ignored them, one of them proceeded to tap her on the shoulder and start asking questions. Now, someone on twitter is posting about her in a bad way. It has to be connected."

"What's the account name? We'll report it and watch over it for you." George says, beginning to type on a keyboard.

"It's @I_Met_Nightmare. Their first tweet is already at 24 likes."

"Clay, dude, I wouldn't tell Nightmare about it."

"I wasn't planning on it, Nick. We both have really bad anxiety about this stuff and she was already freaking out badly."

"You guys are insane, she needs to know," George shouts, having the privilege of it not being early in the morning.

"George, what if this makes her anxiety worse? I don't want to make her feel any worse than she already does. I'd rather her not worry about it," I say, beginning to freak out. Do I or do I not tell her? What's the right thing to do?

"You raise a good point, Clay. Just do what you think is best. I'll look after the account though," George says before leaving the call. Sapnap says goodbye and hangs up. I groan and lay down, trying to get more comfortable but I can't. This situation just isn't sitting right with me. I keep moving until Patches jumps on my bed, laying on top of me. Finally, I can fall asleep.
