professor wells ended his lecture as the students packed up.

beautiful stuffed her iPad into her bag before swinging it over her shoulder,walking out of the hall.

she curved around other students as she tried to get to the parking lot.

she could barely keep her eyes open as she turned the corner,heading for the double doors.

her,sincere and remedy had been o it all night,even after they went bowling.

it wasn't until five am when beautiful was collapsing onto her bed that she remembered she had a class in the morning.

she only got three hours of sleep before she ended up in her class.

thankfully,the large Starbucks cup she had thrown away that was previously full of a caffeinated drink had kept her somewhat awake.

enough for her not to get in trouble for her head falling on the desk.
this wouldn't be the first time though.

she sighed as she saw the double doors in her vicinity,mentally smiling at the thought of her bed.

thankfully her next class wasn't for a few hours,so she could nap it out.

just as she was at the doors,her phone charger unraveled and fell to the floor,making her sigh.

she bent down grabbing the white cord before standing back up,coming in contact with a another person as she grabbed the wall.

unfortunately,it did not catch her this time.

her body and her bag along with it fell to the hard surface making her grunt in surprise.

beautiful's eyes shifted upwards as she looked at the individual before letting out a soft sigh.

"i'm starting to think you're running into me on purpose now,because this is just getting out of hand."
she stated softly as she pulled herself up.

the guy apologized sincerely as he tried to help her up,even though she had already done most of the work.

"my fault."
he told her.
"i swear i'm not,i'm just always tardy."

beautiful shook her head as she picked her fallen phone up off the floor once again.

she held her phone up.
"this is the second time. next time you run into me, I'm gonna need a new phone."

he scratched his head as he laughed.
"i'll pay for it,i promise."

beautiful felt a sudden shyness overtake her body as she became insecure.
"i was just kidding."
she mumbled.

"i know."
he nodded with a grin.

beautiful nodded as she walked around him,heading for the double doors.

just as she opened the door,the guy was coming out the other one,following her into the parking lot.

beautiful had never been in an unsafe situation when it came to men,but she was still cautious.

she took note of the pepper spray in her backpack pocket,just in case.

"i've seen you around for the past couple of days,are you new?"
he asked.

beautiful looked at him before shaking her head silently.

"oh. well,we've never met but i'm sure you already know me."
he chuckled.

beautiful shook her head as she pulled her keys out of her pocket,unlocking her car.
"i don't."

he hummed as he watched beautiful open the door to her car getting into her seat.

"well,i'm keith. it's nice to meet you."
he stuck his hand out shaking hers with a smile.

beautiful nodded as she closed her door,looking at him out the window.

her eyebrows fell as she let her window down,talking to him.
"aren't you gonna be late for your class?"
she wondered timidly.

keith's eyes widened as he sprinted for the doors.
"shit!"

beautiful scratched her head confused as she turned on her car,driving out of the parking lot.

she arrived at home shortly,sifting through her keys before unlocking the door,walking in.

"hey! how was class,do you want some takeout?"

sincere at on the couch with a container of chinese food.

beautiful let out a large sigh as she slipped her shoes off.
"it was..normal. i guess,i didn't get yelled at or called out so i guess that's as normal as it gets."

beautiful collapsed down on the couch next to her,picking up a container of chow mein.

"how did you get chinese food...for breakfast?"
she asked confused as she ate the noodles with chopsticks.

sincere swallowed her food.
"there's no schedule for chinese food. every hour is chinese hour."

beautiful cringed with a grin as she ate her food.
"ew. that was..corny."

they both ate in silence,before sincere looked up,her eyes latching onto beautiful's shoulder.

her eyes widened.
"what happened to your arm?"
she worried.

beautiful swallowed her food before peering at her right shoulder,only now noticing the small bruise forming there.

"oh,this guy ran into me on my way out of class today. it wasn't the first time either. i think he said his name was keith,really tall,brown curls."
she mentioned.

sincere's eyes widened as she stopped eating her food.
"keith! davis?"

beautiful shrugged.
"i don't know his last name."
she mumbled.

"i swear to god,everybody who goes to this college is cool with him. how have you two not met before?"
she asked.

beautiful shrugged.
"i don't know,i'm not everybody i guess."

"i've known him since freshman year,he's a cool guy,pretty good personality too and he's sweet."

beautiful hummed uninteresting but still listening.

"it's too bad though. he's a good guy but he has trust issues,can't be tied down for too long."
she sighed.

"i don't get people like that."
beautiful notes.

"like what?"

"if you have trust issues,that's fine. it takes time to recover from past relationships that have ruined your commitment issues,but why get in another relationship knowing you can't stay committed? you're watching the other person suffer just as much as you did."
she said quietly crossing her legs.

sincere though about it before nodding.
"you know what,you're right. you are right."

beautiful's attention averted to the tv on the wall,becoming interested in the reality tv show.

"which love island do you like the best? US or UK?"
sincere asked as she also watched.

beautiful hummed before answering.

"UK is wayyyy better than US,by far."
she hummed.

sincere agreed.
"definitely."

"do you guys know anybody named beautiful?"
keith asked as he bit his sandwich.

calvin and bakari continued on with their conversation about the difference between left and right twix.

"hey!"

they both turned their heads back at him as they held the candy bars.

"did either of you hear what i just said?"
he asked.

they both shook their heads.
"no,we never really pay attention to anything you say so."

keith threw a box of strawberries into the cart as he kept walking.

"do you guys know anybody by the name beautiful?"
he asked.

they both stalled as they thought about it before shaking their heads.

"are you sure?"
he asked as he grabbed a few cartons of eggs.

"positive."
kari replied.
"i know any and everybody and i've never heard that name before."

calvin nodded.
"same,but on some real shit. who names their kid beautiful? like damn,her parents must be cocky as fuck."

keith shrugged before pushing the cart.

"why do you ask?"
kari asked as he picked up a loaf of bread.

"i ran into her a few times this week and i think that's her name. she goes here but i'm just one meeting her and i'm just-"

"was she fine?"
kari asked as his ears perked up.

keith let his words process before shaking his head.
"why would you-why do you-why does it matter?"

"what does she look like? maybe beautiful is a nickname she goes by,you never know"
calvin told him.

keith scratched his cheek as he tried to remember her features.

"a little over average height,like five nine:five ten,lots of curls,with nice eyes and dimples."

they both shook their heads,having no memory of the girl.
"nope,never heard of her"

keith sighed as they headed for the front of the store to cash out.

"why are you so interested in this girl anyway? you do t even know her."
kari asked as they stood in line.

he shrugged.
"i don't know. i mean,i feel like i know everybody here and it makes me feel kind of weird that i've been going here for three years and i barely know her name."

kari made a sarcastic face to calvin.

"oh my god,his social skills are so prominent,he can't help but to wanna be friends with everyone."

calvin shook his head as he grabbed the bagged groceries.
"couldn't be me. i barely like y'all,so."

they both looked at him funny before grabbing the groceries and walking out the store.

the three men loaded the bags into the trunk before hopping in driving,out of the grocery store parking lot.

keith barely made it to the first light before he let out a quick,
"i'm so fucking hungry."

all of sudden,hunger arose in the remaining two,making them agree.

"what we eating?"
keith asked as he tried to determine what way he needed to turn.

"i want chick fil a."
calvin told him as he looked to his left at the packed restaurant.

"but i'm feeling canes."
kari told him over his shoulder as he looked to the right.

"well y'all need to decide because i gotta get in the turning lane!"
he interrupted them.

"fine."
calvin said upset.
"canes."

he sighed like a big baby as keith got into the right lane,turning into the parking lot finding a spot.

the three boys stood in line for what felt like forever,but what was really only ten minutes.

after they got their food,they ventured back to keith's car,before leaving the parking lot.

keith chewed on fries as he pulled into the intersection,waiting for his turn.

just as the light turned red,he rested his head on the steering wheel,looking at the crowd of people at chick fil a across the street.

his eyes slightly widened as he sat his head up.
"her."

kari and calvin stopped eating their food as they listened to him.
"what."

"that's her,she's across the ducking street at chick fil a."
he looked back at them.

"stop ducking lying,let me see."
kari got out of his seat in the back,leaning over the arm rest trying to see.

"why would i lie about something like that?"

the three boys watched closely as beautiful exited the restaurant with a bag in her hand.

kari gawked.
"damn,she is fine. now i see why you didn't wanna answer my question,you wanna keep her for yourself,don't you-"

"kari shut the fuck up."
keith told him as he tried to see her better.

she hopped into her car with the bags before getting situated and driving out of the lot.

keith was in the right turning lane and beautiful was,you guessed it,in the left.

beautiful looked both ways before watching the light turn green,making her turn down the road.

the three boys were so focused on the young girl,they had completely forgotten about where they were going.

that was until a series of cars honked their horns at them,signifying that the light had turned green,and probably had been green for some time now.

keith smacked his lips as he made his turn irritatedly.

"damn."
calvin sighed .
" i told y'all we should've went to chick fil a."
