I ignored his presence, moving towards the basin beside him. As I closed the distance, the toxic smell entered my system, resulting in me coughing loudly. I wasn't able to control it. That smell could suffocate me. I wondered how could someone take that toxic thing inside their body? I pressed my palm tightly so the cough could stop and luckily; it lessened with time.

"Fuck, so annoying." He muttered, staring into the mirror in front of us. I glanced in the direction and found him glancing at me. Our eyes met. I could differentiate the eye colour we both possessed. It was dark brown but his were darker than mine, as he was darker than me. Those orbs were screaming fury, annoyance, frustration, but deep in some corner, tiredness, agony. I looked away, not able to meet with his intense gaze any further as if it scared me to get lost in that darkness.

I splashed some water on my face, wiping it with the handkerchief. "Weren't you supposed to be enjoying the match?" He questioned. I stared at him in surprise.

I looked at him baffled. "I..." slowly moving my eyes at his outfit. He was in the black jacket that was doing its work properly hiding the school uniform he was wearing. Sometimes, I doubted whether they wore it or came only with that black-foolish jacket?

"Please, Miss Headache. I am not in a mood." He gritted his teeth, how rude! Why even he talks to me, then? Monster! I wanted to yell at his face but chose the latter option. I couldn't waste my energy on such a fool!

I turned on my shoes and decided to walk away. Suddenly he grabbed my elbow, and I was forced to hit my back on the basin while he locked me in such a manner that I couldn't move an inch. As he was towering over me, it was turning difficult to breathe with such a strong odour of cigarettes radiating from him.

His grip on my elbow tightened as I attempted to push my face away from the devil. "Don't you dare ignore me!" I had closed my eyes in disgust, he claimed I was annoying. What about his frustrating ego?

"Leave me..." I stirred in his hold, trying to free from his grip.

"You hate the odour?" I opened my eyes on sensing his voice had calmed a little. His orbs were staring at me, amusement engulfing every corner. His eyes either had fury, mischief or amusement. As if the human before me never experienced anything beyond it.

He was so much taller, he had to bend so he could stare into my eyes. I had never felt ashamed of my short height until I met someone so big in height.

"Fuck..." He repeated once again, I glared at him. And for a second I got a glimpse of a smile which changed into a smirk a minute later. Maybe I was hallucinating! His grip on my elbow loosens, making its way slowly towards my cheek. My breath hitched with his that move, my eyes widening in horror. What was he up to?

"And you hate cursing..." rather than questioning like before voiced a statement. As if it was confirmed, I had a huge disliking towards those words. His thumb was drawing patterns on my soft cheek as he kept staring into my brown orbs. "miss... innocent." He mumbled as if it wasn't intended for me to hear. That mischief hadn't disappeared, those dark brown orbs displayed less darkness as if they wanted to shine in the light and maybe they had found a source of light for them.

"What the hell! Its washroom not making out..." We heard a sudden yell, Ehaan turned to glance at the person. His tall frame in front of me was making it difficult to glimpse who entered? Yet my brain conveyed, I knew the girl. Maybe I had heard her somewhere!

"Ehaan! You moron, where were you? We were searching for you in the entire universe. And what the hell was you..." She was interrupted by Ehaan.

"Zara stop acting overdramatic." With those words, he was pushing me further into the basin.

"Why had you disappeared? We all thought you..."

"Can you pull your tongue together?" He was warning her maybe indirectly conveying him to shut as I was present. Though he seemed extrovert and popular yet his personal life was concealed from the world around him. He kind of appeared a private person or maybe the reason was something altogether different.

"Yeah, I know we are not alone but what are you doing with another girl. I knew Aarav was a playboy hadn't expected the same from you. No! I don't admire your connection with Mia but still, at least be loyal..." Wait for what! Had she thought he was... eww!

I somehow managed to face her, coming out of Ehaan's planned hidden place. And at that exact moment, the door was opened and Mia stood there. Her eyes were wide open in shock, a relief passing through her senses. She had opened her mouth to speak something but on seeing the person before her, she shut in mid.

"Ehaan..." as if she could finally breathe and within a second she rushed to him, wrapping her hands around his neck. She surely was taller than me as Ehaan longer height wasn't affecting her much. She was barely an inch smaller than him, her head resting in the crook of his neck.

I could feel a constant gaze on me and glance at the source. He was shooting daggers at me as if annoyed with my move. I looked away, I wasn't letting someone have a false conception about me.

"You! Here?" Zara inquired least affected by Mia's arrival. As if she was used to their displaying of affection freely in public.

"Zara! You're forgetting its girl's washroom." Instead of me, Ehaan answered.

"Yes! I should be questioning it to you not her." She mocked at Ehaan's response. Her spying eyes darted from him to me, as if she was suspicious about us.

"Her!" Came an appalled expression and Mia pulled herself from Ehaan. And finally noticed my existence. Her expression wasn't something different from the one Zara was offering. As if both were on verge of interrogating, what the hell was I doing in the girl washroom? Wasn't it should be him, questioned?

"Are you girls planning to move out of the washroom or should we enter?" I heard the annoying voice of Anuj. I hadn't heard him so frustrated! What was happening? Was the match over?

"You have to provide with many answers. AJ had lost his calm." Informed Zara, walking out of the washroom.

"Ehaan... what was the matter? Did it have to anything do with...?" Mia questioned, slowly caressing his face. It was making me feel awkward as if I was the third wheel between them. I made my way towards the exist, surely I was going to meet more of his friend. As I pulled the door and walked out, I got face to face with Anuj.

His eyes were radiating anger as he was listening to something uttered by Zara. Aarav had a hand on Anuj shoulder as if trying to calm him down. Surely, his friends had something in common. Anger!

"You need to understand, surely there was something or he won't ever disappear." Aarav sounded calm, though his exterior screamed of his arrogance his speech had the calmness.

"He could have fucking informed! Man, we lost the match due to our captain disappearing without prior notice. The couch is going to bash him hard. He needs to have a hold over him," he pressed his forehead in fury.

"We will hear from him, let him explain himself. Surely that phone call had triggered him." Aarav was trying to make his friend understand.

"It isn't about what triggered him or not. It was about he could control his anger, he had repeated the same incident thrice in a row. What if the coach dismissed him from the team? What he would do then?" Zara was sounding infuriated as well. Surely the game meant a lot to them. I had seen the enthusiasm in Anuj's eyes for it, and even Zara. And they were correct in expressing their displeasure on the matter.

"I don't care! I fucking don't care if I am dismissed from the team." I heard a deep dangerous voice behind me. It was him! I was so engrossed in their talk that I hadn't moved from the door. I could feel his warm breath on my hair, I widen my eyes slowly moving from his way.

Anuj eyes were on me, shocked! I lowered my gaze. "Stop acting overdramatic! I am done with everything!" He announced, moving his hands in those messy chestnut ones.

"Stop with your that 'I don't care attitude'. Your this attitude helps Rudr to win over us, surely couch is planning to make him captain." Anuj expressed his frustration with his friend. "I am not saying there wasn't any reason but if you had informed anyone of us. We would have found a way out, try to understand Ehaan this frustration and anger on your family is only further destroying you. It would heal you from the pain."

Ehaan rolled his eyes at Anuj words. As if not interested in his talks. For a minute I felt I should leave, the matter was among friends and it made me feel I was spying on their matters. Though Anuj claimed me his friend but the matter going was surely more private for them to ever voice out.

"And fucking I don't understand what is it up with Varun! He wasn't able to concentrate at all in the game." Commented Anuj further displaying his annoyance.

Varun! Shit! Surely, he might have noticed Samaira walking out in fury. Why was everything so messed up? Couldn't everyone life be simple like our age? Whom was I kidding, when was teenager life any simple? It was an annoying mess!

"I will soon get an answer about it, I guess." He muttered, calmly a little but it wasn't appreciated by me as he was staring into my direction. No! He wasn't going to question it to me. Soon enough his other friend too glanced at me only one person staring at me with confusion, Mia. There was a silence for a few minutes before Anuj continued, it seemed that none was in a mood to start a conversation.

"As we had lost against 'Thomas' our biggest rival and I had to deal with many humiliations due to it." Anuj continued, "you will have to pay for it." He winked at his friend coming back to his playful self. Others shook their head at his behaviour while Ehaan narrowed his eyes at him.

"I am not paying for anything." Acting as his arrogant self.

"Ehaan! At least he is planning to forgive you. I hadn't decided to even think about it," Zara rolled her eyes at him.

"Surely your favourite team had lost it!" Commented Aarav, wrapping his hand around Zara's shoulder. "You seem hot in this blue jersey, why don't you join our team? The opposition would go flat on one glance at you, we would win without even trying." He winked at Zara while she jerked his hand away.

"Don't you dare flirt with me! I know all your tricks Mr Playboy and I won't come in any of it." She glared at him while he offered her puppy eyes. I smiled at them and decided to walk from there when Anuj planted a bomb on me.

"So, you have to pay back by helping one of my friend with a history assignment." My eyes widen and I stared at him in utter horror. Was he ordering Ehaan to help me with the history assignment? Does he mean him when he uttered that scholar friend? He wasn't helping me but pushing me into more trouble.
