And suddenly his dark brown orbs radiating anger fixed on me. I flinch a little. Slowly lowering my gaze. I hadn't known; I was glaring at him for so long. I could feel his eyes on me. No! I might be angry, yet I knew I couldn't fight back at the furious lion; he wasn't even a human. As human had heart and I came to a conclusion, he lacked one!

The door was slammed hard. And soon the auditorium was filled with murmurs. Getting it as a clue, I raised my head as he had walked out of the hall. Why I had to glare at him? He had caught me twice, glaring!

"Seems like Mr Popular has major anger issues..." I heard Samaira whispering to my ears. I gave a slight nod, silently thanking her for not bringing the 'glaring' topic.

"Today we won't be having any practice, you can leave." Informed Varun as he was last to leave after his announcement. I glanced at the wristwatch after the incident. I couldn't blame for the decision but what was I supposed to do? I was acting selfish, as I wasn't desiring to get home and visit granny.

"What's the deal?" Samaira asked as we made our way out of the auditorium.

"I don't want to land home and visit granny," expressing my displeasure. She was aware of my kind cousins, she smiled at my pout.

"Why don't you visit my house?"

"It won't do any favour, mom would claim I lied to her about practice, she had the feeling." I shook my head.

"What if we just stay back in school for the period?" She suggested, I gave her a 'are you serious?' look.

"Hmm... I don't think it's a better idea to stay in an empty school."

"It's not going to be empty, these people are not going any time sooner." I moved my eyes in the direction, she was correct. Even after the announcement, people were hanging in the corridors, maybe they loved wasting time. As we passed on of the senior classroom, it was fully empty.

We stared at each other, with a naughty grin. We could slip into the room, enjoying our favourite views. Samaira nodded and took a step forward followed by me, on assuring none was inside. We got inside and directly made our way towards the biggest window the class had. As we reached, a huge grin crossed my lip. Either Mumbai city could be seen from the spot.

The huge building, towering one another. The mountain at one end, and the greenery that I wasn't sure still existed in this megacity. "The view is gorgeous." I heard Samaira but I was too engrossed to respond to her. My eyes shining with delight, I had a love for nature. The beauty owned, more than man-made objects.

Suddenly the silence existing in us was broken by some footsteps. We got stunned and looked at the people who entered the class. "You could have acted calmly. Mia had no fault in it..." the flirty guy, what was his name? Aarav was making his friend understand.

Ehaan stood there glaring at his friend, water dripping from the chin as well as his chestnut hair. Maybe he had splashed water to calm him down but I could guess it had no effect, his dark brown was still dark showcasing fury.

"I am done with her, man! Stop talking about her." He spoke slowly his eyes travelling around the room and settling on us, prescribed on me. My breath hitched, he might remember me glaring at him. Why did even I land in his class? Couldn't I suppress my daring nature like I always do!

"What are you both doing? You don't seem, seniors," his friend spoke. Causing me to stare down at the ground I knew Samaira was going to do the speaking.

"Actually... we participated in that..." her condition wasn't better than mine. She was shattering, I couldn't blame her. The room suddenly turned intimated as they entered. They hold a certain aura that anyone could end up shivering.

"Samy!" We heard a familiar voice and for the first time, I was pleased with his arrival. "You here? I had been searching for you, sorry for today's mess." Again! I wasn't sure if he was sounding genuine or not. I couldn't help it, doubting the bad boys came naturally. It wasn't some teen fiction going on and he wasn't some bad boy but with a good heart. I couldn't trust him any time sooner. I had just witnessed a bad boy breaking a heart and least bothered with it. I forced myself not to glance at the rude, cold-hearted person.

"Varun! You know them?" Aarav inquired confused.

"Yes, she is my neighbour. Samy," he pointed at my bestie "and she is her friend." I slowly raised my head, pressing a small smile. Only to receive both of them staring with a blank expression. Rude! Their nickname! It was so annoying not to receive a smile in return. "They had participated in the dancing competition. The last two who filled..."

"Are you serious? They?" Suddenly the rude offered us his response. "Surely, that's why Rudr had such confidence. Why even I trusted you with it?" He wasn't only insulting us but his friend as well. Who was he even? He paused for a second, Aarav was going to interrupt but he continued as he wasn't done with humiliation. "They better know, what dancing is?"

Something in the way he brought those words out triggered me as if he wanted to humiliate us on purpose. Was he taking revenge for the glare? As his slight smirk on seeing my hurt expression conveyed it. What was he even! Cold, arrogant, egoistic bad boy.

I was fuming in anger, who gave him the right to insult us in such a manner. Control Ruhi! Control, calm down! I might not be as good as him but definitely, he had no right to spoke those words against us.

"Ehaan..." I heard Aarav, interjecting. "Varun, don't mind his word, he just..."

"Filled with ego..." I whispered to myself.

"I understand," Varun pressed a smile.

"Let's leave..." Samaira muttered from her tone, I knew she was mad at him as well. I nodded, taking a step towards the door. And if we had to exist we had to pass by him, as I was an inch away from him. A sudden odour filled my nostril, what was it? Cigarette smell? Was he smoking? How could he, it was school! Man! Was anything good about this guy? He seemed so bad!

"Eww..." I pressed my nose not able to take that disgusting smell. My dislike towards him was growing with each minute.

He turned, my small whimper might have reached his ears. He frowned, I looked away walking out of the classroom. I could feel the gaze for few minutes and later Varun fainted voice got in my ears as we were away from the class.

"He got no manners..." Samaira was blabbering, "and I am not understanding why Varun is taking that shit?" She was fuming in anger. "Who behaves so rudely?" She was more pissed off than me, I could understand her. Maybe the thing frustrating her most was Varun standing there without a word.

We were no longer in a mood to stay back, it was better to land home. I would deal with my mother conveying I was tired. Samaira pulled her phone to dial the driver but instead found a message from her mom.

"Mom had messaged me," she sounded surprised. Her parents rarely connected with her so it always amazed her. "Hmm..." she sounded disappointed. "Your parents won't be home, so you're leaving in mine." If someone else heard, they would claim, she was sad with my stay over. Rather she was upset that her mom hadn't even bothered to ask about her day. I felt at times she was used to their behaviour, but she never could move from it. The hope laid deep inside her heart. That may be in near future they would!

"Your parents are so good, they even bothered to ask my mom about it. If it was mine, I would have not even been informed." She shook her head, sad smile.

"Hey! Forget about it, I won't have to land in granny's place. Be happy!" She chuckled listening to my excited self, my hands wrapped around her shoulder.

"Wait! Let me call the driver and then we will have the fun the whole day," she winked her mood taking a three-sixty degree turn. She could never be sad for long.

"Hey, Samy!" We again heard him, not again, please! For a change, Samaira wasn't having the blush she always held when she noticed him. And from Varun disappointed face, I could say he had noticed the change.

"I am sorry... Ehaan didn't mean..." he was going to continue but Samaira interrupted him.

"Varun, I had nothing against you. But I hadn't brought my friend into it to receive the insult. When you suggested me about participation, I had informed you and even argued that we aren't a professional dancer. We love to dance and for that reason, we participated, if we are going to be informed at regular intervals of our lack of skill. I think it won't be desirable..." Listening to it, Varun face grew pale. "Don't worry, we are not going to back off." Samaira glanced at me for confirmation and I blinked my eyes at her.

At that minute Samaira's car came into view, "we had to go." She grabbed my hand and pulled me with her. She turned slightly, "and please take a stand for yourself." She smiled and without glancing back again, we sat in the car.
