"What happened to my case, Unnie? Did the police catch the intruder?" Lisa's voice, with a doubtful question in it, rested in the air. Instead of responding, only a deep sigh stopped the uncomfortable silence between them. Feeling the breeze of anxiety, Lisa kept twisting her ring while waiting for a direct answer. Manager Unnie fixed her eyes to Lisa, tightened her lips before shaking her head.

"What? What do you mean, Unnie?" The show just ended and the group was living the building. All the staff was already in the car while Lisa and her manager left on the room. The lady closed the door behind her so no one could hear them.

"I can't say it to you, Lisa-ssi. It's confidential so Sangjangnim told me to not tell you everything. You need to focus on your comeback. It's been a year since it happened, you should forget it." She didn't blink when she heard the truth.

Whenever she asked about the matter, her manager would always try to avoid the question. Or she will respond with 'Everything is fine' phrases that make her more uncomfortable without knowing what really happens. Her arms slowly dropped to her sides, not moving.

Unbelievable.

She budged when the lady stepped closer to her. Her head moved upward to stare at her manager. Lisa bit her lips as she tried to get a grip on herself.

"Confidential, Unnie? It's confidential when in fact it's my case and I have the rights to know the truth! To know what happens to him!"

And now I'm suffering because I don't know if it was him!

A hand rested on her shoulder trying to calm her.

"Have you taken your medicine?" Snapped. She looked upward to meet the gaze of the lady standing in front of her. She doesn't know how to say it. She can barely speak, trying to find words to utter but her brain refused to think.

"Lisa-ssi?"

"I'm sorry, Unnie," she took a deep breath before she mumbled, her gaze faltered and fell.

After the incident earlier, she decided not to tell her unnies even Jisoo. Although there's a hint of doubt on its face, Lisa chose to give her an unaffected smile. She didn't even answer all of its questions. She's a great pretender, a liar. She can fake her smile, her laughs even the words she'd utter.

People lie for two reasons. They lie for their own sake, for their own advantage. But not her, she lies because she doesn't want people to worry about her. She lies because she wants to protect those people who surround her even if its mean to harm herself.

She looked at her hands. It's too late when she realized that she was no longer holding her own picture. To think that she came back to the elevator to find it but she found nothing even some pieces of it. Which bothers her so much to think about it.

Who got my picture?

"You seemed restless. Did something happen?" She shook her head gently. "Here. Drink this." Manager Unnie gave her a can of beverage. As she reached for it, the drink is a root beer.

"Unnie, I'm sorry. I-I dropped my medicine. It slipped on my hands that's why" She said all of a sudden. She can sense the stare that trying to dissolve her into nothingness.

"You did what?" Paused. She remained silent. Her manager puffed its cheek, trying to relax. "You're so careless, Lisa. You just dropped your medicine and you left it there?"

She nodded. "Unnie, sorry. It was an accident."

"You hadn't take your medicine, right?"

She nodded again politely.

"That's why your hands were shaking. While watching your face on the tv screen, you looked so pale."

"I'm sorry."

"Accident happens Lisa. Just be careful. I'm not mad nor angry. You should take your medicine so you can fully recover. It's for your own sake, Lisa-yah."

"I'm sorry, Unnie."

Manager patted her back gently conveying that she understands it.

"C'mon. Let's go. They're waiting for us but let me take that." She's pointing to the can that Lisa's holding. "You can't drink that," she added smiling.

Lisa heaved a sigh before giving back the drink and followed her manager. She is the last person who left the room. The door creaked when she slowly closing it behind her. As she stepped her feet, a sudden movement caught in her peripheral vision. She did a double take look only to recognize that it was the maknae of Bangtan, none other than Jeon Jungkook.

A series of thought appeared on her mind. As far as she recalls, he's inside the elevator that time also. And there's a high chance that he was the person who got her picture. Her hurrying thoughts clamored for utterance.

She glanced at her manager who's walking away from her. She grabbed the chance to run, chasing the man. She knows that he was heading back to their room. He perhaps forgets something since his other members had left already. She looked around while walking towards him.

The man entered the room and closed the door. As she stood in front of it, an anxious look imprinted on her face. Before she raised her hand to knock slowly. Just a seconds, the door opened and a wide-eyed, unmoving man greeted her.

Lisa immediately bowed to her sunbaenim. "C-can I talk to you for a minute, please?" He met her gaze briefly, then diverted his gaze. He looked over her shoulder. As he pursed his lips, he nodded as he opened widely the door.

"Thank you."

Lisa came in the room. Her eyes darted around, studying every square inch of it. A huge and white one just like there and some bottles left on the table, a sofa with plastic. A trash bin full of garbage and a mirror. After he closed the door, Lisa faced him, cocked his head with an innocent look of confusion.

"I'm sorry to bother you, Sunbaenim—"

"It's Jungkook. Call me Jungkook. Drop the formality."

She nodded once and speak again. "I just want to ask you a question."

"You're so straightforward." He inclined his head, brows drew together. But Lisa, on the other hand, gave him a baffled stare. She stiffened on her place, doesn't know what to do.

A faint grin grew on his lips. "Why not introduce ourselves first?" He tapped his foot. She scrutinized his face watching him bow slightly to her, implying her to start. She clasped her hands behind her back still in disbelief.

She cleared her throat. "I-I'm Lisa from Thailand, the maknae of Blackpink. I'm the main dancer, lead rapper and also a sub-vocal. Please take care of me." Her voice trailed off when she said the last statement.

"Seems like you're not confident enough as you said those words. I doubt if it's true."

She took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I just want to ask you something."

Jungkook said nothing but a cold gaze of curiosity made her uncomfortable.

"I need to be quick, my manager is probably looking for me."

"Go ahead."

"Remember when we're in the elevator? I think I dropped something, a picture. I just want to ask if you happened to see it?" Waiting for him to answer, Jungkook placed his hands immediately in his pockets before giving her a half-shrug.

"I'm terribly sorry. I guess the picture is so important." Her face frowned before nodded. She forced a faint quivering smile and bowed again.

"Thanks for your time."

"I think it's my turn to ask you a question. Can I?" Lisa jolted upright when he said it suddenly. She almost uttered something but he continued. "Who's that man in the elevator? Why... why you looked so scared of him?"

She balled her fist before she stormed out of the room. She doesn't want to answer it. He has no rights to know it nor to ask it. Her secret will remain bury deep in herself. Only in herself.

Tell no one.

"Lisa-ssi!"

"Don't touch me!"

Lisa tried to move away from him when Jungkook held her wrist.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it!"

"Lisa—"

"Don't follow me!"

"I just want to—"

"Please don't touch me."

With a sudden begging, Jungkook caught off-guard to her pleading. He held his hand up, surrendering himself. Watching her run away from him until she's out of his sight.

Her solicitude thrilled him.

"It's confirmed that we will attend the AAA. We only have two days to practice and prepare so girls I'm hoping that you will cooperate," Jennie stated while the girls nodded their head in unison. Blackpink was in the living room discussing the matter since this is the first time they will attend an award show. Although they're excited and overwhelmed, still the ladies are looking forward to doing their best.

"We're done. Take a rest, people." Jennie stood up heading to its room while Jisoo refused it. Instead, she opened the TV to watch some k-drama along with Rosé. Lisa made her way to the kitchen to get some water.

Holding a glass of water back to her room, Lisa looked at the clock stating that it was nine in the evening.

"Unnies, goodnight."

"Goodnight, Lisa-yah," Her two unnies said simultaneously.

As she closed the door of her room, she placed the glass upon her table. She rubbed her shoulder when she felt the weariness of her body. Though her brain opposed to her body, a lot of thoughts running through her mind.

She opened her laptop and noticed that she receive a message to her email. Setting it aside, Lisa chose to open her secret Instagram. One message appeared to her notification.

"From MurderFiend."

Strange.

She's reluctant to open it but her fingers clicked it anyway.

@MurderFiend: Finally, I saw you. You're still the same but more beautiful.

@MurderFiend: You're a masterpiece that must protect.

@MurderFiend: I should own you.

@MurderFiend: You're my masterpiece.

@MurderFiend: You're mine.

@MurderFiend: That's why I have a gift!

@MurderFiend: Look!

Lisa slowly scrolled the page and a picture shuddered her. A familiar man was lying bloody on the floor near the stairs. The worst is, she recognized the face—it was the staff who talked to her. The one who gave her an envelope.

W-what? H-how?

@MurderFiend: Let's pretend that he fell on the stairs and it was an accident.

@MurderFiend: Just like what happened to you.

@MurderFiend: But the difference is, he's dead.

The moment she read it, her eyes widened while her hands covered her mouth with fear. Another photo popped up and she gripped firmly on the arm of the chair.

@MurderFiend: Another one.

@MurderFiend: Stay away from him or else

@MurderFiend: I'll next this person.

"N-no."

The next photo was her while Jungkook holding her wrist. Someone just took their photo without them knowing it.

He was there. And he's watching me. Oh god.

@MurderFiend: I'm the person who needs to finish what I already started. Prepare for your worse, Lalisa.

@MurderFiend: Read my email before I do something you would regret.

The color drained out of her face as she opened the email. There, tears shone in her eyes before she closed it.

Tell them or else they will die.
