I went to bed confused, not sure of who I really liked, maybe it was neither.  I don't know what to do, if I stay with Reece, I know I'm bound to keep getting hurt, but I love the feeling I've been getting with Nate, he gave me butterflies, showed me what caring actually was, and I loved it.

The next morning was difficult, Reece kept trying to make conversation with me, but I wasn't having any of it, so I thought.

"River?" I ignored him, "Okay look, I know you're mad at me, and I'm mad at me too, but I swear it's finished, me and her are done, for good."
For a split second I felt the urge to kiss him, but I resisted and kept staring at my freshly made pancakes.

"I was with a guy last night, Nate, he was really sweet," I said, biting on my lip nervously.

"WHO?!" He screeched, in a very unmanly voice. "WHO THE FREACKING HELL IS NATE?! He shouted, in a deeper and more scary tone.

"A really sweet, and attractive guy," I confidently said, looking him in the eye.

"So while I'm here, dumping my girlfriend for you, you're out meeting with some guy, are you sure this one isn't gay as well?" He said jokingly, but the funny thing is, there was not one bit of humour on his face, which cause my heart to cracking ever so slightly, but I wasn't backing down, not this time.

"Reece you had a girlfriend and never told me, you practically used me. Do you have any idea how crap I felt? How shit it was to know that someone I genuinely really liked just used me like that?" I was blinking back the tears at this stage, refusing to let them fall, still no emotion in Reece's face.

"Do what you want from now on River," he said, never taking his eyes from mine, "I don't care anymore, I liked you, and you messed up." Was he genuinely Serious? I fucked up? Me?! Is he for real?!

"Reece freaking hell you had a fucking girlfriend! What did you want me to do, wait around and be you're bit on the side?" I half screamed, have stayed calm like a psycho person.

"We'll just finish out the term, and after that we won't be living together anymore.  Just stay out of my way until then and we won't have a problem, got it?"

"No problem!" I said, throwing him my best smile, and sticking up my two thumbs sarcastically.

"Good," he said with no angry, as if he was tired from all this crap, why not annoy him more.

"Good," I repeated in his voice, I could see a small smile playing on the side of his lips but he held it back quite well.  I turned around to walk away but he grabbed my hand.

"River you're really hot when you're angry." And with that we burst out laughing hysterically, at least I know now that we can still be friends, thank god.  Now just to prepare for my date with Nate!

"You look," Reece looked me up end down, his face blushing a light shade of pink, "stunning," he finally said.

I must admit I did well, I was wearing a gorgeous white t-shirt style dress, with a pair of boot high heels, a loose belt to show off my small waist, and a gold necklace.  My make up I did to perfection, and made sure I contoured the hell out of my face,  I did look stunning.

"So what would your beautiful self like to order," Nate said, smiling over at me, nothing but happiness in his eyes.

"A kebab," I blurted out. This was a fancy resteraunt, and I know I must sound crazy but Im not a fan of fancy resteraunts, they make me feel umfortab- my thoughts were rudely interrupted by a hand grabbing me.

"Well come on then," he smiled down at me, dragging me up and running down to the kebab shop down the road from us.

"Nate you don't ha-,"

"Sush listen," he started, putting a hand on my back, "Im trying to impress you here, and if it takes a small kebab, to impress you so be it, if it took a first class lobster to impress you id save until I could," he smiled, then looked away blushing.

"Nate, you're so sweet," I smiled back at him, a real genuine smile.

"Well, come on then, we get you that kebab, and we take a trip to the park and stuff our faces," he gave a sly wink in my direction before going up to buy the food.

"Thank you Nate, for this amazing date," I smiled, as we sat face eachother on a park table, just after finishing our large kebab and chip, with a can of coca cola each.

"This date wouldn't have been amazing without you River," he said, which caused me to smile and look down at my lap not knowing what to say.

"Thanks," I smiled.

"I want to kiss you," he blurted out, then blushed a crimson red, "I mean, I want to, but I wanted to do it romantically, but I couldn't incase you didn't want to, and then I would look totally stupid an-," I cut him off by placing my lips over his soft ones.

I didn't feel sparks, I felt fireworks, bonfires, everything.  In one kiss I felt so much, but not as much as I felt with Reece, I'm screwed.

Thank you to everyone who still reads, despite my slow updates, I've been so busy with the leaving cert and boxing ive had no chance, but I'll be on summer in 2 weeks time, and Ill have a new chapter every 2 weeks!
