Ronnie's POV

My feet sore from walking.

My soles violently hitting the pavement.

My arms shivering from the cool air.

The streetlights piercing my eyes.

I never thought that I would walk the streets again.

I thought wrong.

I walked around at dawn as an escape.

A release.

I felt good.

I just needed time to think.

Think about my future without another person's input.

Ever since graduation last summer, my head has been all over the place.

I thought i didn't want to go to college.

Alot has changed in a year.

Well almost a year.

In school, my best grades were in mostly 2 subjects.

Music and English.

I've always wanted to be a writer or a singer maybe.

My teachers always tried to persuade me to join choir or the debate club.

I should of listened to them.

Getting some experience would look great for work round about now.

But unfortunately I just didn't have it.

I was thinking about my options.

So many options but I just can't decide.

Writing songs?

Writing about songs?

Singing about people who write?

Write about the singers who sing the songs?

I don't know.

So many thoughts were running through my head like my brain cells were a track.

I really wish I had my mum right now.

I refuse to depend on other people all the time.

I need to figure this out by myself.

It is currently the 17th of May.

It's been a whole year since I've been dating Colby.

A year today.

One amazing year.

Devyn and Corey were still making everyone jealous.

Sam and Katrina were better than ever.

They had just got back from a romantic weekend on some island.

God knows where.

Elton has a girlfriend now.

She's called Amanda and she's great.

She helps me around the house since before I was the only one who cleaned.

She is just amazing and she makes Elton happy.

Aaron didn't get a girlfriend but he got a dog and he is the cutest thing.

AARON.

Omg.

Aaron always has my back and always gives the best advice.

He went to college but decided it wasn't for him.

He has been me at one point.

He can possibly be my best shot.

I take a deep breath and exhale slowly.

"Ronnie" I whisper to myself.

"Get it together. Everything will be okay" I continue trying to reassure myself.

Nothing was working.

I need to see Aaron as soon as possible.

I start to walk back down the street.

Making my way home.

I notice the sunrise behind the trees, in the distance.

The sun has always calmed me.

It always made me feel warm.

But I can't rely on the sun otherwise I'll burn.
