Colby's POV

"NO WAY!" Kat squeals jumping up from her and Sam's bed.

Running to everyone else's room, probably gathering them to tell them the news,

"Are you sure that this is what you want?" Sam asks me also jumping up from the bed.

I was positive.

I had never been so sure about something in my life.

We may be young but I can't wait to grow old with her.

And tonight will start it all,

"I have been thinking about it for months but after tonight, I have made up my mind. I can't wait any longer" I said to my bestfriend,

"Well I'm happy for you man and I hope everything goes well" he chuckles, pulling me in for a hug,

"Thank you, if it wasn't for you.. none of this would of happened. You introduced me to a beautiful girl, the one I had always dreamed for" I say, trying my best not to cry.

"Don't do this to me Colby" Sam said sternly but all so cheesy.

Leaning his head back and applying pressure to his eyes,

"Enough about me, go be a man. Im proud of you" Sam said pushing me out the door.

I walked down the hall to tell the others the news but Kat had already beat me to it.

They were all jumping around like a bunch of idiots on the top landing.

I was actually scared that they would fall down the stairs or through the floor,

"Omg I have been waiting for this to happen for 2 years" Devyn screamed running at me and engulfing me in a hug,

"Me too" I laughed as the rest of the house hugged me,

"Where are you doing it?" Amanda asks, linking in with Kat who looked as though she was going to pass out,

"I wanted to do it in my room because that was the night we first talked, I first met her. It's nothing big but it's important to our relationship" I say with a big cheesy grin on my face.

Everyone was silent for a moment but broke out in awe,

"Do you have the precious crystal amendment on you?" Elton asks in the traditional Victorian accent.

I pulled the small, black velvet box out of my pocket and showed everyone the inside,

"Its beautiful" Devyn gasped,

"Someone get me one please" Corey shouted.

We all stopped and slowly turned our heads to him,

"What? Who doesn't want to be treated like a princess?" Corey defended,

"Fair enough, know I would" Aaron agrees along with everyone else.

I snapped the box shut and held it tightly in my hand.
