Colbys POV

People start to pour into the house with alcohol.

I say hey to a few old friends but I don't really know anyone else.

They are all Aaron and Sam's friends.

I head outside to find Sam.

He isn't there but I find Aaron and we decide to play mario kart.

As we make our way to the game room I see Sam greeting to girls at the door.

One of them was tall with blonde hair.

The other was shorter and had brown hair.

The one with the brown hair I had seen before.

I just can't think of when.

"You coming?" Aaron says snapping me out of my daydream.

"Yeah sure" I reply.

We head into the game room and start playing.

After beating Aaron for the past 2 rounds, Sam walks in followed by the brown haired girl.

I never realised before but she was beautiful.

The way her dress hugged her body.

The way her hair fell over her shoulder and down her back.

Her lips. Her nose. Her eyes. Her skin.

I didn't realise that I was staring until she smiled.

God that smile.

"Aaron, you remember Ronnie?" Sam says.

"How could I forget" Aaron says smiling and standing up.

He gets up and hugs her.

"And this is Colby" Aaron says introducing me.

"Hi I'm Veronica, Ronnie for short" she says in a soft voice.

"I'm Colby" I reply with a smile.

She tucks her hair behind her ear and smiles.

"Um Colby?" Aaron says looking over to the staircase.

I stand up and walk towards him.

I smell her perfume and its amazing.

I tower over her.

She is so tiny.

"Why are they all coming from the top floor with silly string?" Aaron says confused.

Ronnie and Sam start laughing while me and Aaron rush upstairs.

We search all the rooms but get to mines last.

I open the door to see colourful silly string all over.

Aaron, Ronnie and Sam all run up behind me.

They look into the room and start laughing.

God I'm not even mad anymore, her laugh is too cute.

I start to laugh along with them.

"You got me"

"Enjoy cleaning up" Sam says patting my shoulder and walking off with Aaron.

"Sometimes I hate living in this house" I say entering my room.

"Do you need help tidying?" I hear her soft voice from behind me.

"No its okay go enjoy the party"

"This seems better than being hit on and covered in other people's sweat" she replies with her nose crunched up.

I laugh at her very true statement.

"Thank you" I say.
