One More Mistake
Chapter twenty-three

❱ Rory stood across from us, leaning on the wooden wall that surrounded the room. He was wearing a suit that only held two colors which were black and white. Rory eyes wasn't looking at me but at something else, though his eyes flickered around. I swiftly looked away and hid myself with Raine's curvy body. He couldn't know that I was here or else I wouldn't know what would happen.

"This isn't just a fancy Elite club, things go on here and by that I mean bad things." Raine and Alec didn't notice I was looking off, Alec stood next to me with his hands stuffed on his dressing pants while eyes captured by Raine.

"Do you see that guy over at the other side, with blonde long hair? His name is Aero, I need you to go up to him and say your name is Julie Moon." My eyes wandered around the room until my eyes landed on Aero. I didn't understand why Raine wanted me to say I was Julie Moon but I didn't ask and walked towards him with long determine stride.

"Your Aero right? I'm Julie Moon" his blue eyes flickered to mine before stiffing.

"I have all the cash behind me," he started as he looked behind him. My eyes followed as well and saw a black long locked case, probably filled with cash. "Be careful, there's a lot of cash in there" I looked back at him but he was signaling something to one of the guys who was holding the case. The buff guy only looked deadly at me before walking towards me and handling me the case. I grabbed the case with shaky hands.

Was I supposed to count it, but I didn't even know how much was I supposed get.

I didn't say anything else to the weird looking guy before turning and walking away with the heavy case. Raine had her eyes narrowed on the case, not ever taking her eyes off it until I got to her. She ripped it of my hands before giving it to somebody else who I didn't realize that was there, following us. This was too weird and almost suspicious, I wasn't even sure if this was still part of the revenge plan of Bruce.

What am I doing?

"Where's Alec?" I asked Raine who looked nervous, her eyes wandering around while biting on her bottom lip.

"Finishing the other part of the plan" when she said that, I followed her eyes and caught Alec walking in the same direction towards Aero. Once he stood in front of Aero, he got close to him but I couldn't see much since it was dark. When the light finally flickered towards him, I gasped.

I looked back at Raine but all she did was stare blankly at them.

"Aren't you going to do something?" I asked her but she didn't respond to me, she didn't even look at me. "Alec has a fucking gun pointing it towards him, do something" I whispered to her the last part, I didn't want the people next to us hear us but I doubt they would be able hear us. The music was loud and they couldn't care less about two teenage girls.

"Shut the fuck up" She didn't need to yell it out to me to know she was frustrated and afraid.

I looked at Raine helplessly then back at Alec but he was already walking towards us with smirk plastered on his lips.

"Did he agree?" Raine was holding onto his arm, gripping it hard. Alec didn't need to tell us the answer, his face said it all but I guess Raine needed to hear it.

"That idiot agreed to everything" Raine sigh in relief before gripping my arm.

"We are 10 million richer!" She whispered as quietly as she could but with the excitement bursting off her, she couldn't hide it.

They all looked happy but I was confused and pissed off.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Why do you have a gun?" I spit out the words before walking towards Alec and pushing him. He was caught off guard and he had stumbled back a bit. His smirk that he once had was now gone, his eyes now glaring at me. He took off his hands off his pockets before making his way towards me but he didn't make it far enough because Raine stood in front of me.

"We'll explain later, alright?" Since Raine had her back towards me she had to look over her shoulder to look at me.

"This doesn't involve me yet you two still used me and brought me into your dirty little games" they were getting me into things I didn't want to be in. Things that may be illegal and I deny to be a part of it.

"Don't forget that you'll one of us now, you agreed remember?" Raine slowly turned towards me, standing dangerously close to me.

"I agreed to be part of your revenge, not to be one you guys. Don't get my words twisted" I wasn't going to get imitated by her, she didn't want to mess with me. Especially now that I know what her intentions are with me and Bruce. I could easily spill this to Bruce and sooner or later he'll have her by the neck.

"Don't you dare back down now because believe me when I tell you this, you'll won't walk away so easily. You know our secret, our deepest secrets, I can't just let you walk freely while knowing something of me. That's not how it works" by now she had my arm in a tight grip and her eyes were staring at me coldly yet a smile was placed on her lips. I haven't notice Alec who was also standing by us, trying to hide Raine hurt me from the people around but I guess one person had already seen us.

"I guess you like to threat people" my eyes wandered into the person and landed onto their beautiful eyes. One hand was holding a glass of wine while the other was stuffed into their pocket.

Rory's cold gaze met mine.
