One Year Later

"Adam, the point of eating ice cream out of a cup is to not make a mess."

He gives me a look before continuing to eat his ice cream while simultaneously getting chocolate all over his mouth. I release a sigh, making it loud so he'd get my point, but he just smiles and ignores me.

"You're ridiculous," I say.

I get a text from Olivia saying her and Elea are here. Adam and I stand up to throw our ice cream away and Adam fusses as I wipe a napkin over his mouth. "I can do that," Adam yells, slapping his hands at mine.

"Mhm," I grunt.

As we leave the food court of the local mall, we spot Olivia and Elea together in a baby store. Adam skips to them with me trailing behind. Olivia and Elea both give hugs to Adam before they see me.

"Hey guys," I say hugging the both of them.

I rub Olivia's plump belly and she smiles. She still has awhile until she gives birth, but her belly is finally starting to show.

Elea shakes her head. "I come back to Bayside and she's pregnant," she nods her head at Olivia, "and you're engaged. Now let me see that ring!"

A big smile takes over my face when I give my hand over to Elea. The ring she's looking at is a light blue diamond, the same shade of Axel's eyes.

"I helped pick it out!" Adam says, grinning widely.

Elea smiles down at him. "You did a good job, Adam. It looks great."

Adam gives me the same smirk Axel often sports. I shake my head at how alike the two of them are.

The four of us, or I should say five since Olivia's pregnant, walk over to the tux department that Jaden, Hudson, and Axel are in. Reason being Hudson has to get his suit altered for a formal event with Katherine. The two of them started dating shortly after Jaden and Olivia's wedding.

A strong scent of cologne hits us as we walk in, making Olivia gag since she's a little more sensitive to smells now. The white marble floors gleam up at us just like the last time I was in this store. Hudson, Axel, and I had gone with Jaden to get a suit for prom. Jared had caught Axel and me and we'd ended up in the security guard's office with Cosmo.

Speaking of Cosmo, the skinny security guard from five years ago is currently here in the store, talking to an employee it looks like. I wonder if he'd remember us. It was a long time ago and he sees new people every day.

We walk past them and head to the back end of the store where the changing rooms are. Axel and Jaden are lounging in cushioned chairs, but get up when they spot us. Jaden walks up to Olivia and kisses the side of her head.

Adam runs up to Axel and Axel lifts him up into the air. Adam begins to shriek as he laughs wildly, kicking his legs around. Adam must've been loud because Cosmo starts heading out way, looking irritated.

"Do you remember him?" I whisper to Axel.

Axel lifts an eyebrow. "You think that man is someone I would forget? Especially after what you did to the poor guy."

My mouth drops and I look at Jaden for backup. He just shrugs his shoulders. "I mean, you annoyed the man to the point he kicked you out of the security office. That is pretty bad."

"And if I remember correctly, Jared chased y'all out of the mall," Olivia adds, grinning with her hands on her hips.

Elea laughs. "That's one of Jared's favorite stories, though he'd never admit it to y'all. I actually think he's working today too."

"Excuse me!" Cosmo raises his hand as he walks up to us to get our attention, not that he needs to. He looks at Jaden, Axel, and then me, his eyes narrowing back and forth between Axel and me. "Do I know you three?"

Olivia places her hand over her mouth, trying to stifle her laugh. Elea does the same and turns so she's not looking at Cosmo.

Grinning, I face Cosmo, pretending like we've never met before. "Do you?"

Before Cosmo can respond, Hudson walks out of the changing rooms. His face falters when he sees Cosmo with the rest of us. Hudson's eyes track to mine and I give a little shrug, nodding my head to his silent question.

Slowly, Cosmo looks between the four of us. "Wait a minute-"

"Look at me!" Adam yells from on top of one of the mannequins.

Every single one of us gasp as Adam starts to lose his balance. I rush over and catch him as he's about to fall off. The commotion causes the mannequin to lean forward.

"No, no, no!" Cosmo repeats as he places his hands in his hair, looking terrified.

As the mannequin leans forwards, everything seems to move in slow motion as it topples into the one in front of it, starting to create a domino affect. Thud after thud, every mannequin falls down to the ground with Adam and I standing in the middle of the pile.

Olivia points a finger in the direction of the entrance and exit. "I'm going to get a head start since I'm pregnant."

Elea follows, leaving Jaden, Hudson, Axel, Adam and me to face Cosmo's wrath.

"You four! Look at what you've done," he shouts, pointing an accusing finger at all of us. "Plus you little one!" Cosmo adds, looking at Adam.

"Cosmo," a familiar voice calls, drifting down the aisle. "What's going on?"

Jaden stiffens. "I know he likes us now, but I think it's time to leave."

"I agree," Hudson says. He makes a move to leave but bumps into a broad chest.

Oh, Jared.

I salute Jared, setting Adam down. "How do you do today?"

His face looks horrified when he sees the mess Adam's caused.

"Believe it or not, it wasn't me this time." I hold my hands up defensively. Like that proves anything.

Axel bites his lower lip to quit from laughing.

Cosmo looks even more agitated now. "I knew I recognized you guys."

"Vienna." Jared closes his eyes and breathes a couple of time, trying to calm himself down. "Y'all have ten seconds."

I immediately grab Adam's hand and we step over the mess of knocked over mannequins. Axel grabs his other hand while Jaden and Hudson fast walk to the door leaving the store.

Cosmo throws his hands up. "You're just going to let them get away?"

Jared ignores him. "Five. Six."

Jaden looks at us. "Now it's really time to go."

I look down at Adam. "Ready to have some fun?"

He smiles brightly, letting go of mine and Axel's hand as he takes off after Hudson who's the farthest away.

Axel holds out his hand to me. "Ready?"

Laughing, I place my hand in his. "Ready."
