There's a gentle nudge into my ribs and I look up at Olivia, who's grinning. She nods her head in a direction and I immediately understand what she's wanting me to see. Hudson and Katherine, our siblings, dancing together.

"Looks like we could still possibly end up as sisters one way or another." She smiles brightly, a small smirk playing at the corners of her mouth.

I shake my head and laugh. "Your mom would love that, wouldn't she."

Olivia wraps her arm around mine and rests her head on my shoulder. "You're family no matter what."

I lean my head on hers, letting out a soft sigh as we lace our fingers together. She's right, whatever happens, we'll always be like sisters to each other. It doesn't matter where life takes us.

As we sit there together, I let my eyes drift over the room. Elea's talking to her mom and Jared as they sit around a table, all three of them enjoying each others company. My parents and Mrs. Stacey don't sit far away from them, engaging in their own conversation.

Jaden and James are on the dance floor along with Adam and several other little kids. A few of the girls shriek as two of the boys chase them around, laughing loudly as they do so. Adam joins them by pretending to shoot invisible webs as they run by, making it an even three girls against three boys.

Mr. and Mrs. Torres head in our direction, stopping when they reach us. Mrs. Torres looks gorgeous in her maroon dress, standing next to her husband.

Mr. Torres smiles brightly, showing off his tan skin. "Hi ladies, mind if I steal my daughter for another dance?" he asks me, already holding out his hand for his daughter.

"Not at all." I smile as Olivia squeezes my hand before getting up and taking her father's hand. "Bye Mrs. Coleman," I call.

Olivia grins shyly at me while her dad looks at me with fake annoyance. He's going to have to get used to Olivia not legally being a Torres anymore. They head to the dance floor just as a slow song starts.

Mrs. Torres takes Olivia's now empty seat, smiling at me as she sits down. She places her hand on my knee and squeezes it. "That was a beautiful speech."

"Thank you," I say, smiling at her.

She tilts her head. "You know how you talked about her and Jaden being soulmates?" I nod my head, not sure where she's going with this. "Well, Olivia's lucky because she found two soulmates in her lifetime. You." Mrs. Torres nudges her elbow into my ribs just like Olivia had done earlier. "You two have a friendship like no other."

"Well, we did experience something pretty tragic together," I say, referring to the accident with Bethany. I grab my necklace and twist the pendant in my hand.

Mrs. Torres looks at me pointedly. "You and I both know that's not why you two are still friends. It's because you two choose to still be friends," she says, using my own words against me. She taps my nose with her index finger. "Now, you better dance with that young man heading your way."

She gets up from the chair and disappears just as Axel reaches me. He holds out his hand to me, looking handsome as always. "Would you care to dance with me?"

Smiling, I take his hand and he gently pulls me up. He leads the way to the dance floor, intertwining our fingers.

A new slow song comes on and Axel pulls me closer. He holds my right hand and I place my left hand on his shoulder. His free hand rests on my lower back, again pulling me closer and stirring the butterflies in my stomach.

He leans his head closer to mine as we start to move to the song. "That was some speech." I smile up at him, silently thanking him. "You know, I couldn't help but feel some of it was directed at me."

I swat at his shoulder, letting my jaw fall. "Maybe a little of it was." My eyes travel to his, taking in every blue speckle in his eyes. "Thanks for giving me the push I didn't even know I needed."

His hand that was on my back brushes my cheek. "I hope you know I never want to be the reason to hold you back," he says, letting his thumb trace over my cheek.

"I know that now," I say truthfully. "But promise me something?"

Axel looks up at me, part of his hair dripping over his forehead. "What's that?"

"No more secrets. You just tell it to me straight."

He chuckles. "Will do, Conley. Will do."

Smiling, I talk before I can think about the words leaving my mouth. "What will you call me if we ever get married one day?" I immediately slap a hand over my mouth. "Sorry if that was too much."

He shakes his head, kissing my forehead. "It wasn't too much and please don't ever apologize for being you. And when we get married, I'll probably still call you Conley." He winks at me, making me feel giddy.

"How are you so sure it's a when, not an if we'll get married?"

Axel smiles like he's keeping a secret from me. "Remember at the beach you told me 'It's always been you and no one else.'" I give him a look of fake annoyance, but truthfully I'm glad he remembers me saying that to him. "Besides, you don't live life with any ifs, right?" He winks at me.

Shaking my head, I lean closer toward him. "Using my own words against me, huh?"

He tilts his head. "If it's to my advantage, yes."

Axel leans the rest of the way and closes the gap between us, pressing his lips against mine.

"Gross!"

Axel and I break apart at the same time and see Adam there. Adam looks confused, but he breaks out into a smile as if he realizing something. "Are y'all boyfriend and girlfriend?" He glances quickly between Axel and me.

I look at Axel, tilting my head. He smiles and bends down so he's level with Adam. "Yeah buddy, we are boyfriend and girlfriend. I hope that's okay with you?"

Adam eyes me suspiciously. He stares for several long seconds without saying anything before running up and tackling my legs. Axel steadies me before Adam can take me down.

"Does that mean we're family?" Adam asks, looking up as he hugs my legs.

I look at Axel to see what he wants me to do and he nods his head. "Yes it does," I reply, grateful that he isn't upset about it.

Axel picks Adam up and the three of us dance together as a more upbeat song starts to play. Everyone that was sitting is getting up now and heading to the dance floor we're on.

I look around the room and smile. Seeing everyone that I love and care about in this room, laughing and smiling, is certainly a sight to see.

My eyes land back on Axel. He mouths, "I love you."

I mouth it back and he gives me a look. Probably at repeating his words. But hey, I mean them.

A/N: Just have the epilogue (should be out today or tomorrow) left and then their journey is over. :( Thanks for sticking along if you're reading this. <3
