Daniel: "So. You finally take me out of my cell after 2 years. Something has to have happened."

Jackson: "I simply wanted you to see the error of your ways."

Daniel: "If you're trying to convert me to your side, you're better off throwing me back in the cell."

The camera feed it shows Daniel completely relaxed, it looks as if he's home, but Jackson is getting lightly aggravated.

Jackson: "Do you realize how many leaders you ally yourself with and the corruption hidden beneath is clear as day?"

Daniel: "You're one to talk. From the rumors I've heard, the people you are standing with aren't the greatest people."

Jackson: "Answer the Damn question."

Daniel:"Everyone is corrupt in one way or another, but I never ally myself with people who only wish to exploit us."

Jackson: "Exactly my point you selfish prick. You never ally yourself with someone that will hurt you, but if you're out of it and your "people" get hurt? You don't care"

Daniel: "I represent the DDTF. So, when I say I never ally myself with corrupt people, that means I do it on behalf of the entire DDTF."

*SLAM*

Jackson: "YOU DON'T REPRESENT SHIT ANYMORE!"

Daniel is taken aback by Jackson Sudden outrage, while Jackson himself tries to calm down.

Daniel: "What happened to you Jack? Back when you first overthrew me, we shared no hard feelings, hell I was glad you got a chance at power because then you would get why I never had much time to talk. So, tell me now. What happened to the Jack I knew?"

Jackson: "Don't fucking Jack me. When I was in power, I saw how terrible people were, how corrupt and short-sighted people were. Now that I have a second chance, I can finally rid the world of these people. You created this, Daniel. Your arrogance has led to this."
(Hmm, context is key, hmm)

Daniel is lost in thought for a few moments before he speaks up.

Daniel: "You know what you're doing will cause Civil unrest."

Jackson: "You think I don't FUCKING KNOW THAT!"

Daniel: "Jack just-"

Unexpectedly, Jackson slams down Daniel's head into the table and holds him there.

Jackson: "I'M DOING SOMETHING THAT A SOFTASS LIKE YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND!"

Daniel: "Can't we just-"

Jackson: "WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THE TRUTH! THERE ARE PEOPLE SUFFERING UNDERNEATH THE PEOPLE WE MAKE ALLIANCES WITH!"

Daniel: "Well aware, but you can't just wage war on them."

Jackson: "That's where you're wrong my dear friend. We have the power and the resources to make these worlds better."

Daniel: "By killing all in sight? You're more batshit insane then I first-"

*SLAM*

Daniel: "Fucking hell Jackson!"

Jackson: "you know fully well that quite a few of your allies do not deserve to live."

Daniel: "And? What is it, your great purpose to purge those who are evil?"

Jackson: "That should have been your job. And yet, here we are."

Daniel: "I can see where you're going with this. Your end goal is righteous but your means of obtaining them are-"

Jackson: "WORTH THE GOD DAMN TROUBLE!... If you can see my end goal as the right thing to do, why try to stop me?"

Daniel: "We both want the same thing, trust me we do, but your way of mass genocide and War on several fronts. Even if you do win this, the backlash and hatred for you will be immeasurable."

Jackson: "If the world is a better place, then so be it."

Daniel: "I can see that you have a heart of gold, but you need to think rationally about this."

There is a long pause between the two before Jackson continues.

Jackson: "Think rationally? Daniel? I have been."

...

Jackson: "Your way of helping people is too slow and yields little to no results."

Daniel: "But progress is progress."

Jackson: "Yes. But if said progress will take generations to complete, what's the point?"

Daniel: "Sometimes doing the right thing means you won't be able to see the fruition of what you've done."

Jackson: "Do you really trust your successor to continue on what you have been doing? We both know that if this is going to go on for generations there is a high likelihood someone is going to terminate it."

Daniel: "I know... But I have to try."

Jackson: "I have to give you credit where it's due. You believe wholeheartedly in what you do and are annoyingly persistent."

Daniel: "And you see the wrongs in the world as clear as day as I can, and your end goal is the same as mine."

Jackson: "but our methods yield different results."

Daniel: "But who's in the right? The one who keeps order, or the one who causes chaos for a better future?"

Jackson: "Time will tell Daniel. Time will tell."
