Maya's pov:

"Did you just kidnap my bestfriends so you could ask me to be your... um.. girlfriend?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"It wasn't exactly kidnaping. They knew about it." Brian shook his head.

"So Willy coming to my house was all a plan?" I asked.

"Oh fucking answer his question already!!" Dylan's voice boomed from behind me and I immediately turned to find Jake, Will, Jackie, Harper, Damon, Sam, Tia and Dylan standing in a straight line.

I turned and faced Brian who had his hand on his neck.

"So.." I cut him off by placing my arms around his neck and pulling him into a kiss.

He seemed taken back by my actions but soon responded as his arms snaked around my waist.

I pulled away and smiled while he looked like he was still catching up with the situation.

"So that's a yes?" He asked and I chuckled before nodding.

"It's a yes." I assured.

"Oh fuck! Finally. Now can someone tell me where is the ice pack." Damon groaned as he rubbed his nose.

"OH shit! Damon Did I punch you?" I frantically asked.

"No shit, asshole" He scowled and everyone chuckled.

"My bestie has a boyfriend!!!!" Harper squealed as she hugged me.

"Thanks? I guess." I hugged her back.

"Brian, we need to talk." Sam placed his hand on Brian's shoulder.

"Yeah, I know what it is about." Brian visibly gulped and I almost chuckled at his reaction.

"You see, Maya is my baby sister after Melanie and I don't like to drag a conversation so let's get to the point. You hurt my sister, you won't live another day. Literally." Sam warned and Brian nodded.

"I'm pretty sure Maya itself will kill me by then. Right Dimple?" He nudged my shoulder and I gasped.

"Rude." I slapped his shoulder.

"Okay guys! how about we give the couple a few moments to themselves until it hits 12. We'll be choosing a movie." Dylan told as he pushed Sam towards the projector.

"Hey." Brian placed his hand around my shoulder.

"So this is why you've been avoiding me for the past week." I stated.

"Kind of. I was actually planning on asking you on Monday but the black eye didn't really seem proper." He chuckled. I stared into his face examining the bruise. It was almost gone but a light shade of purple still hung around.

"I'm sorry abo-" He cut me off by placing his lips on mine.

"It's okay babe. doesn't matter." He pulled away.

"I guess so" I sighed.

"Yo guys! the movie is about to start." Will called out as he had his arm wrapped around Jackie's waist. 

"Come on, let's watch it!!" Brian grabbed my hand and headed towards the blankets laid out on the floor. He sat down before pulling me on to his lap.

I yelped and tried to get off him but he didn't budge.

"Maya, stay still." His voice was dangerously low. I huffed yet obliged.

"Wait, what are we watching?" I enquired.

"To all the boys I've loved before." Harper stated and all of us groaned.

"Really?! High school drama!!" I scoffed and Harper rolled her eyes at us before cuddling with Damon.

"Did I mention that you look beautiful?" Brian whispered in my ear. 

"Uh...no?" I blushed furiously.

"Oh well..." he kissed my neck and held me tighter.

"You look beautiful." He told before kissing my cheek.

"Thank you. you do too. I mean not beautiful- like not like you aren't but I" he cut me off with a chuckle to which I joined him.

"I got it. I'm beautiful." He smirked and I playfully rolled my eyes.

After about an hour, I got tired of watching the movie so I lay my head on Brian's shoulderand close my eyes.

"Hey it's almost time!" Someone whisper shouted as I snuggled closer to Brian.

"Everyone ready?! 5...4...3...2...1 and"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!" everyone screamed. 

I jumped out of Brian's hold and gaped at them.

"You fuckers gave me a heart attack." I scowled and they just looked at me cheekily.

"Wait... I know that look. There is more to it isn't the-" I felt something soft and wet splash on my face. 

I froze before taking a lick and finding out it was the frosting of the cake which was on my face right now. I slowly wipe my eyes so that I can see the people. Everyone was laughing at this point so I decided to join them until they started clicking few pictures of me which made me roll my eyes. I turn to my left and find Brian chuckling at my face.

"Hey boyfriend." I smirked and his smile altered.

"Don't you want a kiss?" I slowly crawled towards him and immediately caught his leg before he could fled.

"No thanks I'm good babe." He shot a fake smile while trying to get away from me.

"Aww no fair!" I pouted before grabbing his face and smashing my lips onto his. The frosting went all over his mouth and nose. I pulled away and pressed my cheeks against his on both sides and smudged the frosting all over his face. Once I got a view of his face I was well satisfied.

He shook his head before pecking my lips.

I looked around and saw all of our squad gawking at us.

"Who needs a hug from the birthday girl?" I cheekily asked and all of them cursed before running around.

I got up and immediately caught Dylan's arm.

"Dylan!!!" I hugged him and pressed my cheek against his.

"Ahhhh.. I'm gonna die!!!" He screamed and I laughed at him before catching up with Jackie.

"Oh hey Maya, come on!" Jackie whined as I did the same to him.

And I did the same to everybody and finally sat down.

"Let's wash our faces people!!!!" I yelled before hurrying to the bathroom.

I freshened up and came out to see the rest of them had finished cleaning up too.

I notice Tia behaving the clingy girlfriend as she was hooked on to Sam's arm. It seemed to bother him but he didn't say anything about it. I looked over at Jackie and Will. Jackie had a scowl on his face while Will just had a slight hurt expression.

I was about to walk up to them when Brian called me.

"Dimple?!" He called.

"Yep?" I responded.

"You want pizza or burger? Dylan and I are  going to get us some take outs." He asked.

"Can we get both?" I pouted and he chuckled before ruffling my hair.

"Of course." He kissed my cheek before heading out.

"Be soon" I called out after him before earning a 'yes' as a response.

I turned around and find my brother and his girlfriend standing before me.

"Happy birthday sis" Sam engulfed me in a hug and I hugged him back.

"Thanks." I grinned as he kissed my forehead.

"Happy birthday Maya." Tia told a bit too sweetly.

I shrugged in response and noticed that they were going somewhere.

"Are you guys going somewhere?" I asked.

"Uh yeah about that. We were going to Tia's home. She thinks she isn't welcomed here." Sam gulped. My eyes shoot to Tia who had gotten paler.

"So are you coming back after dropping her off?" I didn't break eye contact as I directed the question to Sam.

"Uh.....no. I'll be with Tia." He told.

I felt a pang in my heart as I realized that my brother was gonna bail on me on my own birthday.

"Oh uh.. well get going then." I sighed before walking away from them.

I slowly turned back and see that my brother and his girlfriend are not there anymore.

I frowned and made my way to Jackie and William.

"Hey guys." I gave a sad smile.

"Hey honey, what happened?" Will asked as he grabbed my shoulders.

"Oh it's nothing." I shrugged it off.

"You do realize William will not let you go until you tell the problem." Jackie pointed out and I chuckled.

"Yes J. Now Maya?" He looked ta me.

"Sam and Tia just left. I don't care about the bitch but I really didn't expect Sam to choose her over me on my birthday. Am I being too self centered?" I frowned and looked into my best friend's eyes.

"Oh my god! NO!! No way!!" Will violently shook his head before hugging me.

"You have every right to feel that way May. Ditching you on your birthday isn't fucking cool no matter what." William placed his chin on my head and I burry my head on his chest.

"Look Maya, I'm also here aren't I. I also didn't know these people but that doesn't mean Will would bail on you. And your brother is a fucking twat." Jackie fumed.

"Yeah I guess your right but he isn't that bad" I told.

"He is worse than bad. Don't mind me asking you but what the fuck does he think of himself?" Jackie yelled and I stood stunned.

"What do you mean?" I frowned.

"He fucking call-" Will immediately grabbed Jackie's hand and shook his head.

"He what?" I asked again.

"Uh nothing. Just mad at him for bailing on you." he shot me a tight lipped smile and I nodded in confusion.

Just then Dylan hung his arm around my shoulder.

"Hey Ass. Your food is with your boyfriend." Dylan mentioned and I immediately rushed towards Brian.

I found him passing a take out to Damon.

"She deserves to know." Damon stated.

"Not today Damon. Let's be drama free for today. Please? I'll tell her tomorrow or something." Brian gave a look of annoyance.

"Tell whom what?" I raised my eyebrow as I walked towards them.

"Holy shit! Are you a spy or something? Keep sneaking up on us like that." Damon jumped slightly.

"If I were to be a spy, I'd have better work than to be spying on you two." I told, bluntly.

"And here is your order ma'am." Brian handed me my take out.

"Oh right I actually also wanted-"

"Ice cream? Yeah I figured. You finish this and then let's go to some midnight ice cream place. kay?" He pecked my cheek and I giggled but nodded.

"I'm gonna go before I start third wheeling." Damon rolled his eyes before heading out.

"Do I need to go to school?!" I groaned.

"Yes sweetheart, you do." Mom's voice snapped me out of my peaceful slumber.

"Just five more minutes." I grumbled and smacked my face into the pillow.

"Maya Laurel Jackson! Get your ass up and be ready as soon as possible." She threatened and I was out of my bed almost immediately.

"I'm up, I'm up." I gasped as I rushed into the bathroom not to get any delayed. I freshened up and changed into my outfit before heading downstairs. I also grabbed Brian's black hoodie and wore it.

"I'm here mom." I called out.

"Good sweetie. Brian is here!" She responded.

I smiled at the thought of my birthday. It was truly eventful with Brian asking me to be his girlfriend although he got grilled by my dad and Jax for if he tried hurting their munchkin. Although the weekend wasn't as good but time flew by pretty fast.

"Hey Dimple." He hugged me.

"Hey," I grinned.

"Oh my god so cute!!" My mom gushed and I just blushed as Brian smirked at me.

"Here's your pancakes, sweetie." Mom handed me a plate full of pancakes and I immediately dug in.

"You want some?" I asked Brian as I sat down.

"Yep." He smirked before bringing his mouth closer to my plate and opening it. I stared at him in confusion until I realized that he wanted me to feed him. My face grew red as I brought my fork near his mouth and he took a bite. This kept happening until my plate got empty and we decided to head off to school.

I sighed as I sat in Brian's car.

"What's the matter?" Brian pouted as he got into the driver's seat.

"Do we really need to go to school today?" I whined and he chuckled at my reaction.

"Yes Dimple, how else are we gonna meet our awesome friends." Brian tried to hype me up but I didn't react to it.

"How about we study together after school?" He asked and I grinned yet nodded.

"Deal." 

He started the car before driving.

"Uh Dimple?" He called.

"Yes pumpkin." He seemed taken back by my choice of name but shrugged it off.

"I need to tell something." He cleared his throat.

"Sure, tell me. Is everything alright?" I frowned

"Your my girlfriend now." He started.

"And there is a possibility that our rivals may have found out so I want you to be very cautious if you are going out okay?" He explained.

"Okay..." I nodded, slowly.

"I need to check up on Melanie in lunch break. could you tag along?" I bit my lip.

"Of course." He nodded and placed his left hand on my thigh. I immediately sucked in my breath and tried to calm myself down.

"Is everything alright with her?" He asked.

"I don't think so, she has stopped talking to anyone of us and would hardly get out of her room, mom was really worried and I actually wanted to go with Sam but he seems very busy." I let out a breath.

"I'm always gonna be here. Kay?" He assured and I nodded.

"Why is Sam busy?" Brian frowned.

"Tia." I rolled my eyes.

"Are you actually fine with them being together?" He drew small circles on my thigh which made me less tense.

"I don't know.....No not really. At first I didn't care but now he seems to be hanging out with her more than spending time with his family. He hasn't really noticed much about Mel and recently, it's only been about Tia." I looked down at my lap out of sadness that my brother is becoming distant.

"Since when has this been going on?" Brian quietly asked.

"Not really but I definitely noticed when he bailed on my birthday." I scoffed.

"Bloody fucking asshole." Brian cursed.

"Hey it's okay. Probably just a phase." I shrugged and placed my hand on his.

"It's not just a phase Dimple." Brian sighed.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"William needs to tell you something." Brian shook his head.

"What happened? Is he okay?" I started to freak out.

"Hey Hey Look at me." I looked at him and stared into those blue eyes.

"It's okay, Don't worry. We will sort it out." He assured as he rubbed my thigh.

We reached school kind of late so I couldn't meet William before the first period. Time passed and lunch break came. I walked in the cafeteria to finally see Will.

I ran across and engulfed him into a hug.

"Whoa!" He amused as he hugged me back.

"Long time, no see." I smiled cheekily.

"Duh, it's been forever girl" He chuckled and hung his arm around me shoulder as we headed to our table.

"Yep." I told popping the 'p'.

We sat in our table and everyone looked pretty anxious.

"Oh yeah! Brian told you need to tell me something." I shot at Will.

He froze and slowly turned towards me.

"Huh?" He asked.

"Brian told you had to tell me something important." I stated.

He looked at Brian who was sitting on my other side.

"You need to tell her." Brian placed his hand on mine.

Will's lips were placed in a thin line.

"What happened Will?" I frowned as I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"It's nothing re-" Will got cut off by Dylan.

"It's not nothing. It's way bigger than nothing. Tell her man or else I will." Dylan scoffed as he crossed his arms and leaned back with a scowl on his face.

"The thing is.... back at your birthday celebration. When you had gone to freshen up.. uh.. Tia had told a few things about um... Jackie and I. Sam also was there and he also told some not so pretty stuff." He ran a hand through his hair. My eyebrows shot up at this.

"Will? What things did they say?" I asked in a dangerously low tone.

Will sighed and looked at me with hurt written in his eyes.

"They called me a fag... faggot."
