Maya's pov:

I was sitting on Brian's lap with his hands wrapped around me, protectively. We were still near the waterfall as we sat in a comforting silence.

"Why didn't you tell me?" His voice was surprisingly deeper than usual.

"Tell what?" I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"That you were scared of insects." He frowned.

"I didn't want you to feel bad-"

"I would never feel bad baby. I was so scared when I saw you panic like that." He whispered.

"I'm sorry." I bit my lip.

"It's not your fault. I should have noticed your discomfort." His frown goes deeper.

"Hey! It's not your fault at all. Say it with me." I turn and cup his cheeks.

"But-"

"I said say it out." I sternly told.

"It's not my fault." He sighed.

"Louder." I encouraged him.

"It's not my fault." He told, louder.

"Good." I grinned before pecking his lips.

He grinned at me and shook his head.

"Wanna go home?" He asked and I thought about it for sometime before nodding.

"Your place or-"

"My place. your coming." I informed.

"I don't think your father or Jax would like that." He amused.

"Dad is going out with his friends to 'catch up' so he won't be back until morning. Jax would be busy with Evie." I stated.

"Fine." he obliged.

We stood up and he immediately grabbed my waist before lifting me. I wrap my legs around his torso and put my arms around his neck before nuzzling in and closing my eyes.

"Eyes closed baby?" He asked.

"Uh huh." I nodded.

After 15 minutes or so he came to a halt.

"We reached." He announced and I opened my eyes and came in view with his car.

"You can put me down now." I told.

"I know but I don't want to." he pouted and I playfully rolled my eyes at him.

"Come on, we got to get home." I giggled as he left kisses all over my face.

"Ugh! Fine!" He sighed before letting me go.

We got into the car before he started the engine.

We reached around 40 minutes later. He parked the car in one of the spaces in front of the mansion. We walked in and found my mom and Maria talking on the couch.

Maria noticed my arrival along with Brian and shoots us a smile.

"Oh Hey guys!" Maria raised an eyebrow.

Mom turned and looked at me before smirking.

"I hope you haven't ripped her outfit, It looked good." Mom teased and the realization dawned upon me that I was still in his clothes.

"Oh no! Um.. Her clothes are back in the car." Brian scratched his neck out of embarrassment and I face palmed myself as those words didn't come out in the right order.

"In the car?!" Maria gasped and I groaned.

"It's not what you think. We just went somewhere and-"

"Went to paradise and came back?" Maria smirked.

"Oh just get lost." I snorted before grabbing Brian's hand and pulling him to my room. 

We entered my room and I immediately slammed the door shut.

"That was.."

"Weird? Embarrassing?" I rolled my eyes and he nodded.

"yep" He responded and I chuckled.

I yawned and stretched my arms because of the stiffness in my body. Brian eyed me before coming over and picking me up. I yelped and grabbed on to him.

"What are you doing?" I exclaimed.

"Taking you to bed. Your sleepy." He stated.

He puts me down on the bed before climbing in next to me.

I sighed and snuggled my body closer to him. He chuckled before putting an arm around me and pulling me in. I sighed as I placed my head on his chest and let the darkness consume me.

"Oh just fuck off!" I scowled as I stomped out of my room.

"Dimple!!" He groaned as he trailed behind me.

I ignored him and headed downstairs.

I spotted Mom, Maria, Mel and Sam sitting on the dining table. I huffed and headed towards them.

I sat on my seat before grabbing the food and digging into it.

"Well someone woke up early." Mom mused. I glared at her.

"You better not give me that look young lady." Mom glared back and I rolled my eyes.

"Well someone is grumpy." Sam shrugged.

"Of course she is. It's 6 in the morning." Mel told in a duh tone.

Brian comes and takes a seat towards me.

"Oh my god Brian! What happened to your eye?" Mom gasped and everyone stared at him with shock.

"Oh it's nothing, just a misunderstanding." Brian nervously laughed.

I looked at him and cringed slightly as my eyes fell on his black eye.....which I gave him.

I rolled my eyes before getting up and going towards the fridge. I opened it and grabbed an ice pack before heading back.

I pushed the pack into his hands and sat down.

"So how did that happened to you?" Mel raised an eyebrow.

"Well.... It was 5 when I woke up and I thought to wake Maya up too." Brian admitted.

Everyone cringed as the words flew out of his mouth.

"Yeah well rule no. one. Don't ever disturb her sleep." Sam shook his head.

"Oh you poor child!"  Mom rushed towards Brian and hugged him.

I shrugged and continued eating. After finishing my plate, I get up and go back to my room to grab my bag. As I turned around, I hit a hard chest. I groaned and stumbled a few steps back.

"Sorry." Brian's voice came out gruff.

"For what?" I rubbed my nose.

"For waking you up so early. I promise I had no idea." He frowned.

"You didn't know?" I pouted.

"No not at all. You think I would have if I did?" Brian shook his head.

"Well it's alright but don't do it again. I should have controlled myself. I'm sorry for the black eye." I sighed as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Trust me I would never do it again." He engulfed me.

"Okay we still got time. How about we roam the streets?" He enquired.

"Sure" I chirped.

"It's option b." Brian stated.

"No, I got A" I scoffed as I re checked my answer.

"What? No way-" His phone cut him off with a ring.

"Even your phone doesn't agree with you." I snickered.

He rolled his eyes at me and picked the call.

"Hey what's up?" Brian greeted.

After few seconds of silence his face expression changed into a look of annoyance.

"We'll be there." Brian grunted as he cut the call and started the engine of the car.

"What happened?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Nothing really, Dylan just told he wanted to hang out and asked us to come to school." Brian shrugged.

I looked at him suspiciously before hesitatingly nodded.

"If I find out you lied to me, your getting another black eye." I clicked my tongue and gave him a pointed look. He gulped and looked away.

The rest of our ride was filled with silence. We reached school faster than I thought and there was an early crowd surprisingly.

"Why are there so many people here this early?" I frowned.

"Let's check it out." He shrugged and got off the car before coming to my side and opening the car door for me. I mumbled a thanks under my breath and looked up. 

We headed inside. We both reached the lockers and my eyes are met with a scowling Dylan holding a scared Anna.

"Whoa! what's going on?" I moved towards them.

"Fucking bitch was almost gonna make a meme out of you." William grunted in response as he comes and stands beside me.

"Meme? About me? What is it?" I frowned and took the paper out of Dylan's hand. I opened it up and found a picture of that Brandon guy and me in the party we had gone to last week. Brandon was holding me pretty close. I looked further down and it was another picture of Brian and I kissing. There was a word written in block letter which made me clench my jaw.

Whore.

I looked up and glared at Anna.

"How many of these are there?" I asked in a low tone.

"I decided to come in early and she was just gonna stick the first poster." Dylan growled.

By now, a crowd had formed around us.

"Too late they already saw it." Anna snickered as she yanked her hand out of Dylan's reach.

"Oh really? How?" I smirked.

"Your holding it. they are looking." She told while picking her nails.

"That's funny." I pretended to think before opening the paper wide out so that everybody could see it.

"Hey fellow school mates." I gave a sinister smirk.

"I just have a teeny tiny doubt. Is what in this paper true or not? Cause I really didn't know these things about myself." I shrugged and heard a few chuckles before they shouted a no.

I smiled and looked Anna. She was shocked.

"Hun, all these people know who is the actual whore.. so I suggest you stop messing with me if you want that fucking scholarship." I sneered.

I didn't want to take out the scholarship part but I had to make a statement.

"Your such a bitch!! You stole Brian away from me!!!" She accused and I raised my eyebrows at her.

"Look, I didn't steal anyone. And feels good to know that your spreading rumors, found another hobby other than spreading your legs." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh damn!!!" Will hooted.

"And mic drop" Dylan fist bumped the air.

Brian's hand snaked around my waist.

"I gotta admit, that was good." Brian chuckled.

The crowd cheered and I chuckled at everyone's reaction. Anna's mouth hung on the floor as all of us walked away.

"And that's how you do a exit." Dylan smirked but it soon faded as he saw Brian's face.

"Whoa dude, what happened to your eye?" Dylan asked in surprise.

"Ask miss don't ever wake me up this early in the morning." Brian pointed at me and I rolled my eyes.

"An act of self defence? or happened while you two were going at it?" Will wiggled his eyebrows and I immediately turned red.

"What? No?!!" I blushed.

"Uh, we weren't going at it.......yet." I heard him mumble under his breath and my body stiffened.

I chose to ignore it and head straight to class.

I was heading out of the school campus when I spotted Dawn standing at the entrance. I ran up to her and tapped her shoulder.

She lazily turned around and her cold demeanour immediately changed into a happy one.

"Oh there you are! Come on, we got to get going. Wouldn't wanna miss your practice now would we.." She strolled past me.

"Wait! Now?!" I caught up with her.

"Uh huh, I don't see why not." She shrugged as she got into the  car. I sighed and got in too.

After 20 minutes, we reached Dawn's place and let me tell you, her place was so fucking cool. She had a whole floor for the gym and practice. Another plus point of being in her house was that there was always food, like always. 

"We need to work on  your lower body today so get your ass on the treadmill." Dawn instructed as she took out her phone. 

"Alright" I ran a hand through my hair before swinging my school bag across the room for which Dawn raised an eyebrow. I just shrugged before heading in the bathroom to change into my gym outfit.

After changing, I head straight to the treadmill before hopping on and started running.

It's been half an hour and I'm still on this stupid treadmill. Dawn hadn't said a word till now and I was fucking exhausted, not to mention that my legs are on fire.

"Dawn!!!" I gasped out and she came into my view.

"Please!! Enough!!!" I violently shook my head.

"It's only been half an hour." She folded her arms.

"Bitch, you know I hate running." I scowled and she rolled her eyes before nodding.

I immediately switched it off and sat on the floor.

"Holy fuck!!" I cursed as laid my back down.

"So I've heard your good at whip." Dawn smirked as she throws one next to me.

"I'm way better than good." I scoffed before getting up with the whip in my hand.
