Maya pov:

"Why are you guys so late and what the fuck happened to your face Maya?" Jax gritted standing in front of the door of our house. His eyes held concern for the bruises but I just shrugged.

"Well, I got caught with reality and let's say it took some time to process it." I shrugged and walked in with Sam trailing behind me. Jax banged the door close and walked towards us.

"Reality? What Reality huh? You know what kind of danger you can get in roaming alone?" Jax snapped. I looked up at him and found him glaring at me.

This night is just getting better.

"Roaming alone? You are acting like my family is in a gang and I have no protection for myself and people will be grabbing the opportunity to kidnap me." I scoffed and he froze. I internally smirked.

"Uh Jax-" Sam hesitated before I cut him off.

"So when were you going to tell me?" I asked as I folded my hands.

"I d-don't kn-know what y-your t-talking about?" He looked everywhere else but me.

"When were you planning on telling me that you owned a gang and a fight club in Australia?" I glared at Jax. 

"How did you find out?" Jax ran a hand through his hair.

"I went to Combattere club today." I sat on the sofa and waited for his reaction. His body tensed and anger was mixed with confusion on his face.

"What?! Who told you to go there?! Is it Sam?!!" Jax roared and I flinched slightly and so did Sam.

"I didn't take her there. She was already there." Sam shook his head, violently.

"What the fuck were you doing there Maya?!" Jax shouted and I cringed.

"I went for a fight." I muttered but he heard it.

Just then Maria and Evie ran into the living room.

"What the hell is going on?" Maria screamed.

"Fucking ask her what was she doing in Combattere club today?!" Jax fumed.

Maria and Evie stared at me in shock.

"Maya, what were you doing there?" Maria slowly asked.

"I went for a fight." I sighed.

"Who the fuck called you for a fight?" Jax gritted out.

"Gina. My senior." I rolled my eyes. There was silence for a few moments.

"I'm going to kill her!!" Jax stomped near the door and Evie immediately ran towards him and wrapped her arms around his torso.

"Calm down and listen to her." Evie told in a soft voice. Jax's body immediately calmed down and he wrapped his arms around her.

"So she called you?" Maria asked and I nodded.

"What else?" Maria asked.

"I got to know everything. Brian is in charge of the club and his gang 'The Devils soul' and Jax has his club in Australia and the gang." I informed.

Maria sat back on the couch and rubbed her forehead. She looked at Jax who was already looking back at her. They held eye contact for a long time as if they were mind-linking and looked back at me. He broke into a small grin. He got out of Evie's embrace and took a step towards me.

"Please tell me you won the fight." Jax grinned and I nodded vigorously before jumping out of the couch and hugged him. Jax wrapped his arms around me.

"Finally!" Sam groaned in satisfaction.

"Wait I have to say something else." I informed and all of them look back at me. Jax looked down at me and gave a nod.

"Oh no, here we go again." Sam sighed and I glared at him.

"I wanna continue fighting." I stated and I was greeted with silence. Jax got out of my embrace and rubbed his forehead.

"May-"

"No Jax, I wanna do it." I cut him off.

"We will talk about this with dad when he comes back." Jax told and Maria agreed, so I had no choice but to accept it.

Great! How will dad take this right now?

"Okay now we need to tell you the whole truth." Jax told and made me sit on the couch.

"Hang on, I'll just get dinner cause it's gonna be a long night." Maria sighed before heading towards the kitchen. Evie went to help her out.

Jax looked at my face and touched a bruise on my cheek. I slightly flinched and he had a look of hurt in his eyes.

"I'm sorry." Jax wrapped his arms around me again and I returned the gesture.

"It's not your fault Jax and anyways I'm your strong girl right?" I smiled and he chuckled before nodding.

"Of course you are." He kissed my forehead and I grinned back while kissing his cheek.

"Mar! Get a frozen pea bag." Jax shouted and received a reply almost immediately.

Maria came in with the food and chucked the frozen pea bag at me. I caught it and placed it on my bruises.

"Okay so...."

"Maya!!! Are there any more boxes left?!" Evie yelled from downstairs.

"Two are left but I will get it!" I yelled and received an 'Okay'.

I looked around my empty room and sighed.

"Well! Long time huh?" I sighed again and started relishing the memories in this room.

I smiled and looked around again. I heard a knock on my door. I turned around and found Sam leaning against the door.

"We will make new memories there." Sam gave a lazy smile and I smiled back.

"I guess but it's been long." I told.

"Indeed. 10 years huh?" He asked and I slowly nodded.

I'll miss you, room.

I picked up my boxes while Sam helped me. We headed downstairs and placed the boxes in the car as there were not much to carry. After that, all of us huddled together in front of our home and stared at the door.

"Here is for a new beginning." Jax muttered before all of us headed back into the cars.

We dropped our remaining stuffs back at the mansion. Now we were on our way to the airport to pick mom, dad and Melanie. Jax was driving, Maria sat on the passengers seat while Sam and I were in the back. Evie didn't come cause she had to meet some of her friends. She felt really bad for not coming but Jax just shrugged it off.

"Drake told me what you did yesterday at the club." Maria informed.

"Really?" I amused.

"Yeah, he told me you were on fire. Like everyone in the club was scared. Even those who didn't know you." Maria chuckled.

"And what was that about you throwing a chair at a guy." Jax asked and I shrugged.

"Oh my god, let me tell you!" Sam gave a horror look and I rolled my eyes.

"She was shouting at all of us so bad. It felt like all of us were shitting our pants. Then there was a guy in the back who interrupted Maya while she was yelling at Brian. She snapped and grabbed the closest chair and threw it in the air. It hit right on that guy's back. The fucking chair broke!..... It were as if watching a action scene in a movie." Sam told. Jax and Maria had amusement looks plastered on their face and I rolled my eyes.

"It wasn't that vulgar." I mumbled ans Sam scoffed.

"Yeah right, This was just the mild version." I glared at Sam and he flipped me off.

"Well, no wonder they called you Athena. Your street name is good." Maria told and Jax nodded.

"It is actually a good name." Sam informed and I smirked.

"It's surprising  that Brian kept quiet." Jax told and my mood went down remembering past night's event. Him and Erica.

Even that bitch's name sucks!

Okay stop. Let's not judge a book by it's cover.   I reminded myself.

Bitch please, looking at the way she behaved itself you could tell.

Oh who am I kidding? Fucking slut.

That's right.    My conscience purred and I rolled my eyes.

"Maya!" Sam snapped and I looked at him.

"Thank god you came back from Wonderland." His voice dripping in sarcasm and I shoved him aside while he laughed.

"When will they come?" I asked for the millionth time. We had been waiting for their flight to land from past 45 minutes. I was bored of just standing and not doing anything.

"Jeez woman... they'll come" Sam groaned while Maria rolled her eyes at me. Jax was on his phone. I moved towards Jax and tugged on his suit jacket. He looked down at me asking what I wanted.

"I'm hungry." I whispered and he chuckled. He takes out some money and handed it to me. I smiled and thanked him before speeding of to a ice cream parlor nearby. I walked in and gave a look at the flavors.

I ordered a cookies and cream flavored one for me and a mint chocolate chip for Sammy. He would kill me if I didn't get one for him. I was waiting for my ice creams when someone bumped into me. I just stumbled a few steps but caught my balance.

"I'm sorry" A rough voice spoke in front of me. I looked up to see a young guy who looked about 17 or 18 years, looking back at me. He had blond hair, blue eyes and a fit body. Overall, he looked pretty good.

Not as good as Brian!

Shut up!

"It's alright" I shrugged.

"Are you coming from somewhere or..." He trailed of and that's when I noticed his accent. He was British.

"No, I'm waiting for someone." I gave a tight lipped smile and he grinned while nodding.

Just then I heard my order being called out. I excused myself and took my ice creams before heading back to the same place where my siblings were. 

I licked my ice cream as I walked towards them. They looked at me, Maria shook her head while Jax was busy on his phone and Sammy was staring at my ice cream with a watery mouth.

"Get your eyes off my ice cream pervert!" I hid my ice cream before handing him his. He started eating it and in minutes, both of us were done.

"That was good." Sam sighed.

"Food is good." I sighed and Maria just stared at us in a unimpressed look.

we waited for 15 more minutes when we heard the voice of our dear mother.

"My babies!" A voice behind us called out. We snapped our heads in that direction to find our beautiful mother crying as she gestured for us to go near her. Sam and I sprinted towards her and engulfed her in a hug. I fought back the tears coming  from my eyes as I held her tighter.

"Easy there princess, I'm kinda old now." Mom choked out and I immediately loosened my grip on her. Both of us pulled away from Mom and she stared at us with adoration. She cupped each of our faces wih one hand  and smiled.

"You've both grown." She cried and we smiled back at her.

Just then another body wrapped around me in a tight grip. I looked down at the girl and melted at the face of my baby sister, although she is 14. Her lips were in a wide smile and her brown eyes reminded me so much of mom. She was the bubbliest girl I had ever seen.

"Mel!!" I wrapped my arms around her and engulfed her in a choking hug.

"I-I'm ch-choking." Mel breathed and I left her.

"I'm not as strong as you." She pouted.

"So what? You are braver than me." I grinned and she smiled widely.

"What? no love for me?" Sam whined and Mel jumped on Sam while I laughed. 

I looked behind mom, who was now hugging Maria and Jax. 

I find a pair of similar green eyes, tall build and a fit body. I grinned widely before running towards my father.

"Dad!" I yelled before wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Munchkin!!" He laughed and wrapped his arms around me. We pulled away and looked at each others eyes.

"My munchkin has grown up." He sighed as he took in my appearance.

"I'm still sixteen until next two months dad." I grinned.

"Of course, yes. My! You've grown beautiful, just like your mother and me." He winked and I laughed.

I looked like a carbon copy of my dad. Green eyes, raven hair and a slightly pale skin. Maria had mom's brown hair and greenish-brown eyes while Jax had raven hair with mom's brown eyes. Sam had mom's brown hair and dad's green eyes while Mel had mom's brown hair and brown eyes.

After rejoicing our reunion, we picked the bags up and walked out of the airport.

"Let's go to our new home, kids. We better move if we don't want any paparazzi on us." Dad informed and all of us agreed before we headed towards our new home aka the huge fucking mansion.

All of us were laughing as we had gathered in the living room, talking about the memories we had. I was sitting next to dad while Mel sat on my other side. Maria had her head on mom's shoulder while Sam was on mom's lap and Jax sat in the corner with Evie snuggled next to him.

"So Maya, How are your studies?" Mom asked. My whole family was very particular with the studies. You better had not got anything below 90% or else your a dead man walking. Luckily, I never compromised with my studies.

"Good mom, I got 93%" I told, nonchalantly.

"Not bad at all munchkin." Dad ruffled my hair and I grinned. I looked over at Sam and he had a look of hesitation on his face. I knew why. He hadn't scored good this mid term. I held a look of pity to him and he just gave a sad smile.

"What about basketball?" Dad asked.

"Doing damn good for a team captain. Her name is all over the neighboring schools" Sam told and I nodded.

"That's my girl." Dad smiled before looking over towards Sam.

"What about you Sam? How are your studies huh?" Dad asked in seriousness.

"Uh... it's going not bad....ish." Sam stuttered.

"Elaborate son. How much?"  Mom told, sternly.

"85% mom. I saw his papers." Maria glared at Sam and Sam just looked away.

"85?Son-" Sam cut dad off.

"I know dad, it's less but I'll do better next time. I promise." Sam admitted and I grinned.

"Your damn right you will and until then you aren't going for baseball." Dad ordered and Sam gaped at him.

"What?! That's crazy.... Come-" 

"No means no Sam." Dad cut off and the room was filled in silence.

Thinking that it would be the best time to talk about the gang and club stuff I looked over at Jax. He seemed to have read my mind cause he looks over at Mel and grins.

"Mel, Why don't you start unpacking? It will take long to get it done with." Jax asked and Mel grinned

"Sure! Bye guys!" She waved at us before skipping towards her room. I looked back at mom and dad.

"Dad, we need to tell you something." Maria sighed.

"Well spill" Dad told.

"Well... you see.....Maya....actually." 

"Oh my god, Maya has a boyfriend?" Mom squealed and Sam jerked up. My eyes widened.

"What?! Who?!" Jax, Sam and dad exclaimed.

"Wait what? No!" I scowled.

"Well not really but that is a conversation of another time." Maria shrugged and I glared at her.

"Dad, I got to know." I told and he looked confused.

"Got to know about what?" Dad asked and I sighed.

"About the gang and the club." I mentioned and mom gasped.

"What? How?" Mom asked in a weary tone.

"I got invited to a fight from school to Brian's dad's club and found out everything when I went there. They got caught red handed." I explained and mom looked over at dad who had a calm expression on his face.

"Why aren't you saying anything?" Mom asked dad and he shrugged.

"I knew." was his answer.

"What?" All of us gaped at dad.

"Mr, Smith informed me yesterday itself. Right after you left the club. You put up quite a fight there munchkin, I'm proud." 

I stared at him, dumbfound.

"Did you fight sweetie?" Mom asked and I nodded.

"She won too" Dad gave me a proud smile and I grinned at him.

He looked back at mom and smiled.

"Smith told she would make a great queen to Brian."  My body stiffened.

"Queen?" Maria widened her eyes and so did Sam. Jax were sitting as if he was expecting all this.

"To Brian?" Mom gave a look of amusement. I stared at her confused.

"What do you mean by queen to Brian?" I asked, dumbfound.

Dad looked at me before grinning to himself.

"You know? In a wolf pack, the leader is called the Alpha. right?" 

I nodded.

"And the Alpha's mate is called luna." 

I nodded again.

"And those two are the leaders of the pack?" I nodded.

" In a gang, the leader is called the King or Boss and his wife is called Queen."

"Are you telling that I would be an amazing leader alongside Brian......as my husband?" I gulped and dad sighed but nodded.
