Maya pov:

"Okay, so what are we going to do now?" Jake asked while munching a chocolate in his mouth.

"We are not going to do anything I will go and fight her and come back." I stated and Harper snorted.

"It is not as easy as you think Idiot and there is no way we are letting you go alone." Willy scoffed and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"That is true. But I won't be able to go along with you cause my dad has been wanting to have some family time and we decided to keep it today." Harper sighed with a look of guilt.

"Harp, It's okay. This was all unexpected and I don't want any of you coming there with me too." I placed my hand over her shoulder and gave her a sympathetic look.

"Why don't you just not go-"

"I am going. My pride and ego is too big for me to not go." I told in a blunt tone and Jake chuckled.

"Okay you know what. I am going with you and it's final. I don't care if you want me to come or not." Willy glared at me and I huffed while folding my hands.

"Even I am coming. Anyways I might also go for a fight." Jake shrugged.

"What?!!" I gasped.

"I've been wanting a way to get out of the emotions so why not try this." Jake shrugged again and I smacked him.

"All of you are impossible." I shook my head.

"We're your friends. What do you think?" Willy smirked and I shot him a playful glare.

"Kay' guys see you later. Classes are gonna start." Harp reminded and the three of us groaned.

"See you later guys. Come home and Willy get your car. I'll text you the address." I sighed and Willy gave me a thumbs up before I headed back to my bio class.

"Coming!!!" I yelled as I heard the doorbell ring.

 I ran downstairs and opened the door.

"Hey May." I was engulfed in a bone crushing hug by Willy while Jake had an amused look on his face.

"It's been so long." He exaggerated.

"We met not even two hours ago." I rolled my eyes and Jake chuckled.

"Why aren't you ready?" Jake furrowed his eyebrows.

"We are going so soon?" I asked.

"Yeah well since we are going to an illegal fight club, why don't we check it out when we have the chance?" Willy reasoned and I rose an eyebrow.

 "Really?" I stared at them. Suddenly both of them got on their knees and joined their hands together.

"Pretty Please with a cherry on top!!" They screamed and I froze.

"okay okay.... jeez calm your shit." I sighed.

"Our shit is calm but thanks for your concern." Willy smirked and I smacked his arm.

"Ow!" he whined. 

"I'll change and come. Feel free to take anything from the kitchen." I smiled and Willy immediately ran to the kitchen.

"I wasn't going to ask anyway." Jake snorted before rushing to the kitchen.

I just laughed and made my way to my room.

I entered and locked the door. I looked around and there were only boxes. I sighed as I searched for a outfit and settled for a comfortable one or more like a gym wear. I chose a full sleeve top along with black high waist leggings that reached up to my ankles. I also decided to take Brian's hoodie as it felt damn comforting.

I grabbed my black Nike shoes and wore it while grabbing my phone and heading downstairs. As I walked into the kitchen, Jax was there laughing with Willy and Jake. When they noticed me they grinned at me. I did the same.

"May, you never told me that your friends were coming over." Jax stated and I shrugged.

"They just came to pick me." I answered while grabbing a apple from the fruit basket.

"Where are you guys going?" Jax asked. I looked over at those two and noticed that they were nervous.

"Well... there was an issue at school today with one of the senior. So we decided to sort it out outside the school as we didn't wanna fall in trouble. That's where we are going now." I answered smoothly. It wasn't a lie but not the complete truth.

"Hmm.. okay cool and be careful." Jax nodded his head and I kissed his cheek before heading out along with Jake and Willy.

"Why you wearing Brian's hoodie?" Jake smirked and I flipped him off with my middle finger. We got in the car and headed straight to the club.

"Are you nervous?" Willy asked as he stared at my hands. They were kind of trembling. A typical sign of nervousness.

"Kinda. It is a new environment." I answered.

"Just don't focus on anything else other than fighting. Don't even look at the crowd." Jake instructed and I listened carefully.

"Just look at her ugly ass face and you'll feel like breaking it." Willy joked and I chuckled.

"Jake are you fighting?" I asked as I looked at Jake who was driving.

"I don't know. I haven't actually thought much about it. I found out from a few of the students that today there was a face off, as in street fighters from all over the country were coming and I don't wanna beat my own ass in front of them." Jake shook his head.

"No wonder Gina called you today. By the way, how does she fight? I've never seen her. Could you actually believe that she is a street fighter?" Willy asked in curiosity.

"She fights good although her stamina doesn't last and she is not polished enough. I fought with her in the mall on Sunday. She was making a huge deal about Harp just bumping into her. As far as her being a street fighter, I don't think she is but she must be part of a gang or something." I grumbled and Jake gaped at me.

"Well... fuck." Willy sighed.

"We reached guys." Jake told in a low tone. Willy and I looked out and were astonished to look at the club.  It so fucking huge and looked amazing yet scary.

"Well shit, how the fuck are we gonna get in if there are two body guards with the size of a elephant." Willy stared ahead as I looked over at those two bodyguards.   

"Only one way to find out." I sighed and signaled them to get out of the car. 

Jake parked the car and got out. We headed towards them. I walked in the front. We stopped right in front of them and they looked at us.

"Seriously, even kids know about this?" One of them grumbled and I glared at them.

"We're not kids. We're in highschool." I glared.

"Those are kids for me." one of them rolled their eyes.

"Okay grandpa, now can you let us in." I mocked them.

"Why do you need to go in?" They asked.

"She has a fight." Jake told nonchalantly.

"You have a fight?" The same one who spoke earlier asked in surprise.

"Yeah with someone named Gina." I shrugged.

"Gina is fighting today huh?" The other guy asked.

"Sorry kid, That is not enough for us to let you in." 

I opened my mouth to speak again but I was cut off by a voice coming behind the guards.

"Let them in Theodore, They're with me." The voice announced. I lifted my head and froze in shock. It was Jennifer. She walked over to me and grabbed my arm before giving a look to Jake and Willy to follow her.

She pulled me and the boys inside and led us to a room. She locked it and turned around and glared at us.

"What the fuck are you guys doing here?!" She barked and the boys flinched. I didn't as I was used to her shouting and stuff.

"This is not a safe place for you three!" She roared and I cringed.

"Jenny calm down. I had to come her cause I was invited to fight." I told softly.

"Who the fuck did?" Jenny glared.

"Gina." I stated and sat on the couch.

"That mother fucking cunt. I'm going to sue her." She spat.

She walked around the room while the three of us stared at her. Finally she sighed and stopped and looked at us.

"I know you won't go unless your done with the fight so I guess I have no choice." She sighed again and I jumped out of the couch and hugged her.

"I'm gonna get screwed if he comes and sees you." She muttered.

"Huh?" I furrowed my eyebrows

"Nothing. Well you boys can see around if you like and if anyone asks just say your with Jennifer." Jennifer looked at the boys and they nodded. Willy and Jake came  and engulfed me in a hug.

"All the best." Jake whispered.

"I know your gonna win."Willy gave me an assuring smile and I smiled at them.

They headed out and I turned towards Jennifer.

"Okay now sit. I'm gonna give you few rules and tips to use." She told sternly and I immediately scurried to the couch.

"Rule number 1, Don't show any weakness no matter what. Keep your emotions on your face neutral." She held one finger in front of me and I nodded.

"I have a question." I raised my hand as though I were in class. She nodded at me.

"What are you doing here?" I raised my eyebrow at her.

"I knew you were gonna ask this." She sighed.

"Well duh... not like you just appeared out of nowhere." I told in a duh tone.

"I organize these fights and...." She trailed off

"Your part of the club or a member of a gang?" I quietly asked and she slowly nodded.

"I can't say anything else." She told and I nodded, understanding.

"Anywa-" She was cut off when someone walked in the room.

It was another girl. She seemed of Jenny's age. She was around my height, her body was pretty built compared to Jenny and she was in a sports wear. She had an intimidating aura and I wasn't bothered by it.

"Jen!! You called?" She asked while closing the door.

"Yes, I did." Jenny sighed and pointed at me.

The girl looked over at me and studied me top to toe. She met my eyes and I didn't look away.

"Who is she?" She asked.

"Meet Maya Jackson, she will be having a fight today. Maya, meet Dawn Davis and we call her D. She is one of the top fighters in this club" Jenny introduced 

"Wait like Maya Jackson?" She widened her eyes at me. Jenny nodded.

"Hey yo!!!" She came forward and hugged me.

"Hi!!" I smiled slightly.

She looked at me from top to bottom again and nodded.

"Well.... you definitely look strong as those slight muscles say so. Who are you fighting anyway?" She asked.

"The slut of our gang." Jenny rolled her eyes.

"Gina?!" She exclaimed.

"Yeah." I mumbled.

"Fuck yeah!!! I have been waiting for this day when will someone come and put that bitch in place. I would have killed her but boss won't be happy." She rumbled on her own and my eyes widened slightly.

"D, she doesn't know much so control. The reason why I called you is I want you to give some tips on the fight. It is her first one." Jenny explained and Dawn nodded.

"Okay come on have a seat." She gestured and both of us sat down.

"Kay' I have work so I'm leaving you in charge of her." jenny informed before walking out.

"Okay so have you had any fight in school or whatever?" She asked and I nodded.

"Yeah I've had a few. I have fought Gina before but it was in the mall...." I explained the whole thing that happened on sunday.

"Aah! No wonder she was so pissed when she came back. She doesn't like it when people cross her. That bitch thinks she is the queen." Dawn told nonchalantly.

"Anyways so listen...." Dawn became serious.

Dawn listed out some rules and she gave a few techniques which I could use in the fight and boy was she strict. She made me do the techniques again and again until I got it correct and it took a whole new level of sweat out of me. I wasn't exactly exhausted but a slight hint on tiresome could be noticed.

  "I think that is enough for today and I am proud." She gave me a satisfied grin while I groaned and sat on the floor.

"Thank god!" I sighed. She sat next to me and handed me a water bottle.

" We need to think of a name for you. Some thing like a street name." Dian explained as I drank water.

"Okay.....how about Athena." I shrugged.

"Athena? As in the goddess of war?" She asked and I nodded. She thought for a few moments and turned to me with the biggest smile stretched on her face.

"Perfect!! Ladies and Gentlemen.... please welcome a new participant in the name of goddess of war, Athena!!!!" She held her phone as the mic and screamed.

"That sounds good." I laughed and she joined in too.

"Looks like our time is up. Let's get going and also loose the hoodie." She instructed and I followed through. 

As soon as I stepped out of my room I looked around, It looked pretty busy. People were walking around as they spoke on the phone. Some of them even greeted D. Just then I saw Willy and Jake talking with someone in front of them I couldn't see that person as his back was facing me. Jake looked kinda pale while Willy was talking to him in a nervous manner. I narrowed my eyes at them and felt something familiar about that body posture.

Jake's eyes met mine and his widened and looked back.

"What is going on there? Those two are my friends." I mumbled to D as she looked at where I was.

"That's our boss. Shit come on let's go and talk." She cursed and pulled me along with her.

We walked towards them and Jake's face dreaded of fear. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I walked faster. I was almost 10 feet away from them when Jake shook his head at us.

Is he asking us not to come there?

Seemed like the boss caught Jake doing that and he immediately turned around. As his eyes met mine, we both froze. I stared at the ocean blue eyes staring back at me. He immediately walked towards me and grabbed my arms. He was pissed, I could see it in his eyes and the way his eyebrows were pulled together.

"What the fuck are you doing her Dimple?" Brian roared.

"What the fuck are you doing here boss?" I glared back at him.
