Maya pov

I slam my locker shut and glance down at  my watch.Just then the bell rings and I sigh and turn around and start walking towards my class when I heard my name being called.I hoped to see Brian but when I turned back and saw Sam running towards me.His hair was messed up and it looked like he just got up.with  someone.I notice he has got slight lipstick on his face and I roll my eye before rubbing it off.

He looks at me confused.

"Lipstick" I told and his mouth form and 'o' shape.

His eyes me up and down before they widen.

"What's with the......."gesturing to my body"Outfit?" He asked more like a question.

"I didn't have anything to wear so...." I  answered him back.

I glance down at my watch and kiss him in the cheek.

"kay I got to go..... see you at lunch" I waved before running to my class.

I have my  third period,math.I was doodling in my back page when Mrs.Mathews walks in the class. I jerk up to sit straight.

"Okay class open your books." Mrs.Mathews told

I took out my books when I heard a husky voice.

"May I come in" My  head jerked up to see whose voice does it belong to.

I see him standing leaning towards the door,black hair,blue eyes,masculine feature, white T  shirt hugging his muscles and ripped jeans.Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Brian Smith,who is not supposed to be here.I duck my head down so he can't see me.

"Mr.Smith you are late." Mrs.Mathews stated.He was never in my class.

"Yeah my classes got switched so.... yeah" He replied.

"Well please have your seat." Mrs.Mathews gestured towards the class.

All the girls were giggling which made me snort.I was the only one who was sitting alone but Brian didn't see me and I hoped he wouldn't see me.

"Well........ you can take a seat next to Ms.Jackson" Mrs.Mathews told and I shut my eyes and mentally groan.

I shoot up my head and see Brian walking towards me with a smirk on his face.

That smirk.

'Focus Maya' I scolded  myself.

He sits down next to me and Mrs.Mathews started the class and I turn my attention to her.I could feel his gaze on me.

"Hey, can we talk" Brian whispers in my ear sending shivers down my spine.

I ignore him and write down the questions Mrs.Mathews writes on the board.

"Maya!" He whisper- yells.

"What?"  I hiss at him

"Listen to me." He whispers

"I don't wanna" I stated.

"Ms.Jackson and Mr.Smith , stop talking.Next time  I hear you both, you will be in detention."Mrs.Mathews told.

I roll my eyes at him and  concentrate on the problems.

"I don't like it when people don't listen to me Maya."  He told and I ignored him.

Suddenly a hand comes in contact with my  thigh and pinches it.

"Ouch" I squealed slapping his hand off.

"What the fuck?"  I hiss while rubbing that area.

"You didn't listen" he stated 

"Are you serious?"  I scoffed

"That's it Mr.Smith and Ms.Jackson, see you in detention later today." Mrs.Mathews told and I groaned.

Rest of the time, he kept quite but he would steal a few stares and turn back to the board.

After the bell rang I quickly got up from my  place and started rushing outside for it was lunchtime,but then a hand grabbed my wrist an pulled me back and I hit his hard chest.I look up at him cause he is slightly taller than me.His eyes had darkened.

"You don't just ignore me like that.Is that understood?"  He told in a low tone.

"Right after you come and tell all bullshit about me yesterday you expect me to come and be nice to and say 'Hey Brian, how is it going? Hope you are doing well?'" I fired back

He lets go of my hand and looks at  me.

"Maya, stop doing that." he told

"Stop doing what? telling the truth.What happened baby brian can't stand the truth Huh?" I smirked.

He grabbed my  waist and I gasped before he pinned me to the wall and comes closer.Our faces where inches apart.

"Why do you do this to me Dimple?" He groaned 

My breath was hitched in my throat.A shiver ran down my spine when he leans in next to my ears.

"I wanted to apologize for what I did yesterday.It was a misunderstanding.I  will meet you in detention and we will talk Okay?" He whispered huskily.

I nodded  in response as I could not get anything out of my mouth.

"I can't hear you" he told

"Yes..."I told breathlessly.

"good" he smirked and walked to the cafeteria.

I was shocked thinking about what just happened.

"Maya!" someone shouted and I jumped and saw Sam with a confused look on his face.

"Is everything alright? looks like you saw a ghost by judging the expression on your face.Come on everyone is waiting for you." he told and pulled me to the cafeteria.

"Nothing" I mumbled.

When we entered the cafeteria,All the boys there were checking me out,like literally.Sam scowled at few who were looking like they weirdly at  me.I glared down at few and walked up to our table and Brian, Harper , Dylan  and Jake engulfed me in a hug.

"Oh my god, you look fan-fucking -tastic" Harper complemented.

"Okay guys you can let go now." I  choked

"oh sorry" They mumbled before  letting me go.

" We just missed you." Jake grinned.

I sat next to Dylan who was sitting next to Brian.Dylan hugs me and I hug him back.

"Looking good for someone huh Maya?" Dylan smirked

"Yeah sure for you Dylan" I snorted

"Aw you dressed up for me." He pouted.

"Don't get your hopes up" I warned him and he chuckled

"Hey guys, lets go to the mall after school."  Harper told.

"can't" -"can't" Me and Brian told in unison.

We both look at each other and stared into each others eyes for what seemed like ages when I broke the stare.

"Why do you both have somewhere to be" Dylan raised his brow.

"No, it is just that we both got detention." I stated

"how do you know that?" Sam asked

"I got because of him." I pointed towards Brian who just smirked.

"Well you were the one who wasn't listening to me."Brian pouted  and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Yeah cause I had my reason and it was during the class" I fired.

"Anyways even after detention can't  come.I have to go home and so does Sam after school." I stated.

"why" He asked

"Maria told we are having some important meeting" I told and Sam nodded.

The thing that just happened between me and Brian started playing in my head and I zoned out.

"Maya!" I jumped.

"Don't wanna eat anything?" Jake asked.

I shake my head and look at Brian who was staring at me.My eyes widen but I quickly cover up.

"Nope I'm fine" I told and I feel heat crawl up my neck again.

I look over at Brian to see he was smirking at me.

'detention' he mouths and my eyes widen at that.

'oh boy it is gonna be a long day' I mumbled under my breath.
