My room has turned into fucking Premier Inn 2.0, and I can't say I'm too pleased about it.

It's 5am, and Sin is in his bed, whilst Zachary lies on the floor beside it, wrapped up in a weirdly expensive looking sleeping bag.

I yawn and check who woke me up, then see messages from Patrick.

Patrick: Yo Cat. Your selling for me, go to C Road. It's the stuff I gave you the other day.

Sighing, I head to the stash of cocaine he gave me and get dressed, tucking it into my bra just in case anyone raids my pockets.

I grab my phone and open the door.

"Lina?" Sin calls, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

I wave. "Go back to sleep, Sin, it's so early. I'm going on a walk, see you later."

He raises his eyebrows, glancing at me.

"Stay safe little red, alright?"

I nod and close the door behind me, him being nice making me feel guilty for my sudden change in attitude towards him over the past few days. Now that it's half term, I'll try to be nicer to him.

I contact the buyer with the number Patrick sent me, and head to C Road. It's nearby, just through an alleyway or two.

Not shaking the feeling someone's following me, I dial Rhiannon's number just in case, then place my phone in my pocket.

Waiting on the edge of the alleyway, I see two distant figures and head towards them, knowing based off their outfits that they are who I'm meeting.

"Here's your money."

I hand them the baggjes after they've handed me my money. As they walk off, I realise the little fuckers underpaid me.

"Oi, you pricks! You owe me twenty." I run after them, crossing my arms over my chest.

They scoff, looking me up and down. "What you gon do about it, little girl? We ain't scared of you."

"That's your mistake, not mine." I say with a smirk, covering the fear that is starting to ball inside my chest.

I raise my arm, ready to snatch the baggies back, but the taller one grabs my wrist and twists it round, pulling me into them.

"Get the fuck off of me." I spit onto their face, the ball of fear ready to explode.

He wipes his face. "You dirty bitch! You'll pay for that, won't she mate? We're going to punish you. I'm going to punish you."

I'm going to punish you.

This wasn't the first time I've heard these words, yet this time I know I can defend myself. I am strong.

"Get the fuck off of her!" A familiar voice yells, before a fist shoots into the one holding me nose.

I recognise the voice as Sin, who wraps an arm around me as Zachary punches the others.

"Why are you here?" I ask angrily, confused as to why he would follow me.

"Thank you, Sin. Your my knight in shining armour. I am so grateful, Sin."

This may be the second punch he's thrown for me, but all I feel is anger and weakness.

I stick my finger up at him, removing his arm from my waist. "I said why are you here, are you stalking me?"

The two guys run off blooded, then Zach nods and takes a few steps away, presumably to let me cool down.

"Jesus, Lina, I was being nosy, okay? But you could be a bit fucking grateful, I just helped you."

"I can fight my own battles, Sin." I tell him, before skipping off ahead back to the room.

"Where are you going?" He yells.

I yawn as I walk towards the alleyway. "I'm tired."

Walking down the alleyway, I feel a bit nervous so I decide to call Arianna. Guilt fills me about leaving Sin and his stupid friend Zachary, but I'm not some weak little girl and I'm tired of people thinking that I am.

Arianna: Hello? Is everything okay, it's so early?
Lina: Yeah, sorry, normally I'd call Rhiannon at this time but you know-
Arianna: All her and Brandon care about is their baby?
Lina: Yes, exactly that, you smartass.
Arianna: I'm actually awake, anyway and I could really do with a friend.
Lina: Be there in five, bitch.

I end the call and smile, changing my route as I enter the college grounds. I don't do close friends, but Arianna is good fun- I've just accepted she'll hate me one day and that's that.

When I arrive at her room, I knock three times so she is aware it's me, not some random creepy stranger.

"Come in!" She responds with a cheerful tone, contrary to the mood she's in, or at least said she was in.

I roll my eyes. "You got high without me, didn't you?"

Scanning the room, I notice that Delilah is missing, along with a few of her things.

Fuck, I wonder what happened there.

I wave the baggies of coke I took from the pricks I recently encountered. "I have something even better than the joints you've been on."

Her eyes light up, as she finds a card and a mat to make the lines on.

Once we've both snorted three lines each, the feeling hits our body straight away. A giggle erupts from her, but it just calms me at this point.

"So, why did you need a friend? Not that I'm complaining, any excuse to get away from Sin and his work mate, but still?" I ask, curious.

Arianna sighs. "Delilah. She, um, we are having troubles."

"Relationship advice isn't exactly my top area, Arianna." I tell her, knowing I won't be able to help her with whatever situation the two are in.

She giggles again and I glance at her- how does it make her so happy?

"I know, your not into lovey dovey stuff, but I love her, Cat. I really do. We may be roommates and it causes tension, we may be polar opposites but honestly, we have so many similarities. I enjoy spending time with her, and, well, she just gets me, you know?"

Cringing at what my friend said, I nod along, knowing if I open my mouth I'll say something rude.

"I don't know, Cat. I just really like her."

"Well if you care about her that much, then show it. Treat her right, that's honestly all I can tell you."

Arianna nods, then hugs me for being there. I pat her back awkwardly, still not the biggest fan of hugs but they're warming on me.

We watch Netflix on her laptop for a while, then have a nap (it was unplanned). When I awake at three pm, the shocking of the time makes me in a rush to leave.

*****
In a weirdly good mood, I knock on mine and Sin's room, my stupid ass self forgot my keys- or lost them.

He opens the door, not saying a word which is strange as he normally never shuts up. I walk in and dump my stuff on the side by my bed.

"Hey, you alright?" I ask, humming under my breath.

Sin lets out a laugh, but it doesn't sound particularly happy.

"So we're acting like this morning never happened? You seem to love acting like things never happened, don't you?"

I know for a fact his second sentence is just being salty that he didn't get any, so I choose to ignore that and focus on his first question.

"Why are you mad about that?"

He shakes his head, laughing again. "Lina, I literally helped you. And you were rude to me. As per fucking usual."

"Look, sorry crybaby if I hurt your precious feelings. But in my opinion, you followed me which is creepy, and then demeaned my strength. Therefore, I have every right to be rude to you."

"Because your always fucking right, aren't you?" He runs his fingers through his hair angrily.

A snippet of me feels bad, but not enough to say anything.

I walk over to the kitchenette and turn on the kettle, then walk towards him, standing in front of him.

"Look, Sin. We clearly both have different opinions, even if some are wrong," I look him up and down pointedly, "we can both respect each others."

"Because you won't admit your wrong? Just say fucking thank you!" He yells, and I flinch at the level of noise.

"Why would I say thank you, Sin! I didn't need your help! I would've been perfectly fine on my own!" I yell back, stepping a few steps away from him.

He takes another step forward, still allowing space between us.

"No you wouldn't, Lina! You don't need to act strong all the time, it's okay to be weak-"

"Don't you dare call me fucking weak, Sin."

I take another step back, angry. I was in a good, cheerful mood, for once in my life- yet he acts like a fucking prick, ready to ruin it.

"Your not weak then, Lina. Your just- I don't know! You drive me insane!"

"And you drive me insane!" I yell back, before taking a deep breath. "I'm not some damsel in distress, Sin. You don't need to try and save me."

"Save you?" He asks, his head tilted to the side.

I nod. "Yes. Treat me like some weak little damsel in distress, like I said, so that you can feel better about yourself by being the knight in shining armour."

"I'm not trying to save you Lina. Fuck, I don't know what your doing to me." He says, muttering the last bit.

I cross my arms over my chest. "And what's that supposed to mean?"

"It means, Lina," he breathes before taking more steps towards me, causing me to walk backwards,
"that despite the fact you piss the hell out of me, a part of me still likes you. There's a part of me that wants to pin you up, rip your clothes off and do unimaginable things to you."

My body hits the edge of the kitchenette, and I feel my breathing hitch at his words.

It come unexpected; but the tension been's there for weeks, even I can't deny that.

He puts his hands either side of where I'm standing, locking me in, his eyes begging for an answer, his lips whispering magic chants to me.

I take a deep breath, then whisper in his ear:

"So do it."
