-LINA'S POV-

It's hard to deny the amount of anger fuelling through me, the rage shooting through my veins.

How fucking dare she.

I've been called a slut hundred of times- even by my own birth family, that really doesn't affect me. Drug addict, well, she isn't exactly wrong- even if I don't admit it to myself.

But it all broke loose when she mentioned my madre. That's a line nobody on earth should cross. That's a line that I always vowed if someone crosses, I would make it my mission, no, my duty to make their life a living hell.

In frustration, I inhale from my third joint in the past hour since Sin dragged me back to the room.

He's sweet, I hate to admit it but he is.

His 'bad boy' reputation baffles me. It's college, people talk, maybe as not as much as they did in secondary, but still a lot. I've heard the things they say about him, how he acts, or how he used to and it genuinely confuses me-

because all I see is the fragment of someone who longs to be loved, a ghost of a boy who just wants someone to stick around.

"Lina? Do you want a drink?" He asks, as he makes himself a coffee.

I contemplate, then nod. "Yeah, tea please. No milk. I like it black now."

"Just like your soul?" He teases, and I laugh despite the shitty mood I'm in.

"Just like my soul, yes."

It's around ten pm, I have lessons tomorrow, but I really don't feel like going to sleep anytime soon.

"Once we've drank our drinks, do you wanna come out with me Sin?" I ask him, for some unknown reason.

His eyes light up as he hands me my tea. "You want me to come out with you?"

"Well, not desperately, but you might as well. Now say yes or no, before I take back my offer."

He grins. "How could I decline an offer to go out with my sexy roommate? Where we going then, little red?"

And this is the rare moment in which I believe the rumours; at least one of them. He is one hundred percent a fuckboy.

I drink my tea quickly, I actually hate it black but it's supposed to help you lose weight and I've always been a little too curvy in my opinion, so I'm trying this out.

When we've finished our drinks, we grab our phones and head out.

"No motorbike today then?"

I shake my head guilitly. "Can't afford the insurance, but I'm selling- I mean I've got a job tomorrow, so I should make enough from that."

He nods. "Yeah, I'm saving up. As you know, they give the car if I pass and lessons, but not insurance, which is an expensive mother fucker."

"Yeah, fairs." I say with a shrug, not particularly interested in the conversation, I prefer silent company.

We walk side by side, normally I'd step further away but I'm fucking cold and his body warmth radiates off of him, so I'm fine with using him as a personal heater.

"Where are we going?" He asks, confused.

I grin. "Ever broke into your own college before?"

"Lina, no."

I roll my eyes. "Relax, we can't get in trouble, we literally live here. We're just going to the music classroom anyway."

"Only if you let me take you to the library."

I sigh, he knows how much I despise books, but then again I guess it would only be fair if I got the music room and he got the library.

"Deal."

We head towards the music block first, and I grab the spare key from the lamp, something I've seen my teacher do many times.

Sin raises his eyebrows but doesn't question me as we slip in and I gently close the door.

I grab Sin's hand as I know he doesn't know where he's going, then drag him to my classroom.

"Welcome to my world, Sin."

He smirks, picking up a guitar labelled Cat on it, it's in the classroom ready to be re-stringed. "Go on then, play me something, little red."

"No." I reply immediately and sharply, a confident yet shy tone in my voice.

Sin laughs. "You made me come in here, yet I don't even get a song? Come on, Lina."

Be brave.

"Fine." I huff and grab the guitar before sitting on a stool.

"I'm not doing it because you said to though, Sin, it's only because I want to."

He nods, "Of course."

I take a deep breath in, then begin to pluck at the strings, playing my favourite rifts. I pluck up the courage (no pun intended) to sing, using the lyrics from my most recent writing.

Sin watches, his eyes looking mesmerised. I put the guitar down in embarrassment, fiddling with the hairband on my wrist.

"Jesus, Lina, you were amazing."

"Amazing at making you go deaf?" I ask with my signature eye roll.

He shakes his head. "Nope. Just amazing."

I laugh and walk towards the entrance of the door, I'm bored now.

He grabs my hand and I open my mouth, ready to yell, but decide against it. We run across the large school grounds to where the library is located.

The library actually closes at midnight- so this tine we aren't trespassing or whatever it's called.

We walk in through the back door and I smile when I realise it's empty; Sin is the only book freak around here.

"Welcome to my world, Lina." He quotes me as we walk through the aisles.

I look at him pointedly. "Your so stupid, Sin. I take creative writing, I've been near books before."

"If I'm so stupid then why are you still holding my hand?" He winks, and I instantly drop his hand.

Skipping ahead of him, I go to the Greek Mythology section, my favourite stories as my madre used to tell me them before I slept.

"Do you want me to read one to you? I love Greek Mythology, don't you? The stories are amazing, enchanting even." Sin says and I can't help but giggle at how magical he makes a book sound.

The librarian tells me to shush and we make eye contact. Sin chuckles quietly and I cough awkwardly, before we climb into a pile of beanbags placed in the corner.

"Tomorrow night we should go to the pool." He tells me, after reading one story.

A grin forms on his face. "Or tonight."

"I'm down. Although I'm not wearing the best clothes to swim." I gesture towards my outfit of the day and he chuckles again, only to be shushed by the librarian.

"Who needs clothes?"

**********

I dip my feet in to the deep end of the pool, shivering.

"Maybe another day. It's so cold." I say, rubbing my arms.

Sin looks at me from in the water. "You can't be serious, Lina, I'm here and I'm fine! You'll be warmer once your under."

I hesitate and then walk to the side, taking off my jeans, being left only in my red thongs and top.

"My top will get wet!"

"Then don't wear it." He sighs.

I put my hand on my hips and look at him. "I'm not wearing a bra, genius."

"That's fine by me."

Putting my feet in the water again, I kick over at him. "Your a perv."

Sin dives under the water and swims to me, leaning against the side. His hair is soaking wet, practically covering his eyes, and his torso is sprinkled with water.

"Wear my top, Lina, if it bothers you that much."

I walk back over to where we've dumped our clothes, quickly pulling my top off and replacing it with his. My nipples are most likely on show, and it'll be worse when it's wet seeing as this is a disgusting white top, but I don't really care. I never wear bras anyway, so this wouldn't be his first time seeing my nipples.

I sit on the edge of the water, watching him swim.

"Just jump in! Now I get why everyone calls you Cat, you pussy."

"Excuse me? Says the crybaby over here."

"For fucks sake, I'll just help you in."

The idea of his hands on my waist does seem slightly appealing to me for some absurd reason right now, but I decline and quickly push myself into the water.

"See, that wasn't so hard, was it?"

I roll my eyes as I begin to swim the length of the pool. "Please shut up, you egotistical wanker."

"Someone's in a good mood."

I grin, swimming towards him. "When aren't I?"

But strangely, he isn't wrong. Any anger I felt earlier has dissolved, well, some of it, I still want to kill Paige. But strangely, I feel okay. Strangely, everything feels right.

I shake off these weird euphoric feelings and climb onto the side, walking towards the diving board.

"I'm amazing at diving."

"Now who's the egotistical wanker." He responds, with his proud little smirk.

As I dive, I make sure to make a splash on my come-up, directed towards him. He wipes his face that the water soaks, glaring at me.

"I'm going to get you back for that."

He chases after me and I laugh, swimming under water to the shallow end. I climb out the steps and run to the deep end, then sit on the side.

He puts his hands on his head, like a shark fin, then swims towards me.

"Oh no," I put my hand to my head dramatically, "not a shark, somebody help."

Sin chuckles as he climbs up and sits next to me.

"You know, little red, I think your starting to like me."

I snort, "Like is wishful thinking. Beginning to put up with, that's more like it."

"Shut up, you know you love me."

I flick some water at him in response, and he cups a handful of water and goes to throw it at me.

"Don't you dare." I order, standing up and backing away.

He grins. "You have a five second head-start."

"Sin, I'm warning you."

He grins again. "One. Two."

"Sin?"

"Three. Four."

Fuck.

I sprint across the side of the pool, running away from him, laughing. I haven't felt this carefree in ages.

"Who's in there?" A booming voice of security echoes as a torch shines into the pool.

"Shit. Oh my god. We're going to die. No. I cannot be expelled. Shit." Sin begins to panic, speaking frantically.

I run over and grab our clothes, chucking them in his arms. Then, I grab his hand once more as we dash out of the pool area just before security could find us.

"That was close." He whispers, as we hide behind the brick of the building, him against the wall and me leaning into him, to avoid the torch's eye.

A grin plasters across my face. "Thank you, Sin."

He looks down at me and tucks a strand of hair behind my ear, smiling.

"Thank you, little red."

Then the torch appears again, and we run once more.

*****

I have my bag packed ready for the showers. The water in our room isn't working, and seeing as it's now 1am it isn't a suitable time to call anyone. Sin and I are headed to the showers, to wash off the chlorine from the pool and the mud that accompanied it due to our half-naked running.

The showers are near our room, so it doesn't take us long to get there.

I enter my cubicle, well, it's only a shower curtain but nobody else is as mad as Sin and I to be awake right now.

I turn on the shower and stand back, massaging the shampoo into my hair.

After my long haircare routine, I finally leave the shower. Realising Sin hasn't finished yet, I sit on the sinks impatiently, as he's the one with the keys. My towel is beginning to soak me, and I never bring clothes here.

"For fucks sake, Sin, hurry up."

He pulls the curtain over and leans his head our. "I'm doing my hair. Feel free to join me."

"Perv." I act as if I'm not interested in his offer, fiddling with the hairband on my wrist instead.

After around five minutes he emerges, a towel wrapped dangerously low around his waist. He stands in the mirrors, combing his hair.

"My god, can't you fucking do that when we are back in the room?"

He sighs, looking at me disappointedly. "Not everything's about you."

"No shit sherlock, but I'm coldddd." I whine, and he sighs as he parts it into curtains.

I lean forward, still sitting on the sink. I grab the comb out his hands and brush his hair forwards- I'm curious as to what it would look like without curtains.

"I love fluffy hair." I say as I ruffle it slightly more.

Sin raises an eyebrow at me. "Your impossible."

"Impossibly amazing? I know. Can you hurry up?"

"You've been so nice all evening, why nagging now? Of course this kind charade couldn't last long." Sin mutters sounding upset, which just pisses me off more.

I cross my arms over my chest, keeping my towel steady in place still. "You're such a dickhead, Sin. You're the one getting all salty because I said I was cold. And for once, I actually thought you weren't boring."

"You're a bitch." He spits as he continues to comb his hair like the self obsessed twat he is.

I roll my eyes once more, people really lack originality nowadays. Then I climb down from the sink.

"Where do you think your going?" He asks, angrily.

"Away from you."

He nods with a grimace. "Walking away again, real brave of you, tough girl."

"Why are you suddenly being such a dick, Sin? Go fuck yourself."

"I'd rather you fucked me." He whispers, leaning down towards my face.

I bite my lip, then remember who I am and take a deep breath. "Your a twat." I say forcefully, why is he suddenly taking his life issues out on me?

I begin to walk away, even if it's just a few steps, he'z angered me and I don't want to be near him. I shouldn't have invited him out. I should've gone to Patrick, got something so I could be enjoying myself.

Then, his hands grip either side of my neck as he spins me round and pulls me onto his lips with such a strong collision I'm surprised it didn't hurt.

I push him away, so his back hits the sink.

Walking closer to him, I feel my body shaking. "What the fuck was that?"

He looks down at me and shrugs. "I know what I want, Lina. I think you do too."

Fuck.

Biting my lip, my eyes scroll across his body. His wet, messy hair, the towel wrapped low around his waist, his hands clutched onto the sink.

Then I think of his drinking, the way I've heard he treats girls.

That won't happen to me.

I walk towards him, pushing him deeper into the sink.

"You may want me, Sin," I whisper into his ear," but if I wanted you, then I would already have had you."

His face falls as I turn and leave the shower room, a proud look on my face.

Hey! Sorry, I'm still really struggling with writing at the moment, and I came off the plan for this chapter as it wasn't working for me.

I'm not in the mood to edit (real professional, i know) so I'm sorry for any horrific gramma mistakes or typos.

Hope you liked it :)
