"Wait so were exactly has John B gone to?" I question as he'd just jumped into the HMS Pogue and driven off. "To get scuba gear from the Cameron's" JJ answers as we walk into the Chateau. I honestly don't know why John B agreed to this I can already tell this is not going to end well.

"Lovely" I sigh falling back onto the sofa bed (I never know if I should put couch or sofa cause I say both). "Beer?" Pope asks holding a bottle in front of me which I decline shaking my head. Pope looks at me with a shocked look on his face as I've never really declined a drink.

JJ opens to fridge grabbing out the milk that has so clearly gone off. "JJ don't drink that" I attempt to warn him but he's already taken a drink making me roll my eyes. He looks as if he's going to throw up as he rushes to the sink pushing Kie in the process. He spits the milk out bring a disgusted look on Kiara's face. "Told you" I laugh turning over to lay on my stomach resting my head on my hands.

"Jess is this yours?" Kie asks holding my crop top I must have left when I slept here. Which time that was I don't know. "Yeah thanks, where was it?" I take the shirt from her hand and putting it on as it's not dirty.

"Oh and Jess before I forget..." Kiara says grabbing my phone from my back pocket.

"Think you're gonna need me to open that Kie." I smile taking my phone from her hands unlocking it them passing it back to her. I don't mind people on my phone I've got nothing to hide. "Oooo so Jess, how's Rafe?" Kie questions with a mischievous smile on her face.

"What are you talking about?" I furrow my brow getting off the bed and taking my phone and see a message from Rafe 'Come over" what the hell.

"What is it?" JJ asks walking over but I leave the Chateau before he sees my phone, I walk over to the hammock and lay down. I hesitate for a minuet before I decide to call Rafe.

"Jess hey" Rafe says surprised that I've called him.

"What do you mean by 'come over'?" I question trying to sound serious.

"I just I need to talk to you" he answers almost stuttering.

"Then why didn't you just call me?" I ask shaking my head even though he can't see me.

"Oh forget it" I can practically see him rolling his eyes through the phone. Before I get chance to say anything back the call ends. I shake off how weird that call was.

I walk back into the Chateau and see Kie with the same smile on her face, Pope looking in the fridge and JJ sat with his back turned to me.

"By the way I put all our numbers in your phone" Kie says as she turns a corner probably going to the toilet.

I go on to my contacts and see that she has put all there numbers in and gave everyone personalized names. 'Kie:)' 'Golden Boy' 'John Blah' and 'lover boy' I roll my eyes at the name she's given JJ.

I put my phone back in pocket then go and sit on the side in front of some of the cupboards.

"How long do you think he'll be?" JJ asks Pope with a very obvious annoyed tone that he's trying to mask. "Not long" Pope answers walking outside and I follow him well try to as JJ grabs my hand when I walk passed him. 

"What did Rafe want?" He asks not looking at me I take my hand from his and stand in front of him leaning against the table. "I honestly don't know I called him and he just said 'I just need to talk to you'" I say imitating Rafe's voice as I quote his words. 

"You shouldn't get involved with him Jess" JJ tells me finally looking at me shaking his head. 

Before I get chance to say something back Kie comes running in telling us that John B is here. We both walk outside and go to the boat we climb on and John B sets off the the marsh. I look behind him and see some scuba gear from the Cameron's.

We finally stop and Kie starts to investigate the scuba gear checking it all to see how much air is in each. "This is empty. You took empty tanks" Kiara sighs picking up a diffrent tank placing it at her feet to check the air. "This one is a quarter full it's enough for one of us" Kie tells us .

"Love it when a plan come together" Pope comments making me laugh slightly as I stand next to him. "Does anyone know how to dive? Anybody?" Kie questions looking around the group.

I put my hand up volunteering even though I actually have no idea how to. I'd rather it be me that gets hurt than any of them. "I can dive" I say walking over to stand next to Kiara.

"Funny. Absolutely not" JJ says looking down at me I hate being this small I roll my eyes at his words. "And why not?" I ask.

"Because you don't know how to. Don't say you do cause you told me you don't." he says folding his arms. "Anyway moving on. It's kind of a kook sport" JJ points out squinting his eyes due to the sun. 

"I read about it" Pope says and honestly I'm not surprised he's read about it. I don't mean that in a mean way Pope is really smart. 

"Great Pope read about it, so someone's gonna die" Kie sighs.

"Like you put the thing in your mouth and breath. How hard can in it be?" JJ explains well tries to.

"Well if you come up too fast, nitrogen gets into your blood, and you get the bends." Pope recites something he's most likely seen in a textbook or online.

"Bends like, bend over and-" JJ bends over sticking his ass out.

"The bends kill you" Pope tells him before he can finish that sentence.

"I can do it" John B says even though I'm almost 100% certain he can't.

"You can dive. I'm cool with that." JJ says agreeing with the brunette boy.

"Since when can you dive?" I question looking at John B furrowing my brow.

"I'll do it it's fine" he answers quickly brushing his hair out of his eyes.

"Let me do some calculations real quick." Pope says grabbing a pencil and a random piece of paper. "Okay so that boat is about thirty feet down. So it'll take twenty five minuets at that depth" Pope continues drawing on the piece of paper.

"Twenty five" John B repeats to himself.

"So you'll need to make your safety stop at about.... ten feet." Pope tells us I take off my flip flops, shorts and top Kie notices what I'm doing an she does the same. Me and Kie share a short look and both jump into the water. 

We use the chain from the boat to help me when to stop. I pass Kiara my shirt and she ties it at where John B will need to make his safety stop. We swim back to the top "We tied Jess' shirt to the anchor chain about ten feet down. That's where you need to make your safety stop" Kiara tells them as we swim to the boat.

"Cool" John B says as we climb onto the boat.

"Keep and eye on this you need to make sure you have enough air to decompress" Pope says to John B showing the boy the device Kie originally used to check the air in each tank.

"Okay, how much do I need?" John B questions looking at the small device.

"Unclear. Breathe as little as possible." Pope rephrases his original explanation. John B purses his lips shaking his head.

"Zen. Think Zen, you know?" JJ says taking deep breaths trying to simplify what Popes had said.

"Yeah, got it." John B says getting ready to put the scuba mask on.

"Hey, if we get caught in the marsh, we're basically screwed so... better get a move on" Pope sighs sitting down.

Kie walks up to John B placing a kiss on his cheek making me raise my eyebrows slightly surprised by her action. As does John B by the look on his face.

"Diver down?" John B says as he puts the scuba mask on. 

"Diver down" Kie replies as John B jumps into the water. I salute to John B and he sends one back as he disappears into the water.

I make my way to the nose of the boat and lay down trying to sun bathe but the attempt is ruined by police sirens. I stand up walking over to JJ.

"Shit, JJ" Pope says looking over to the approaching police boat JJ turns around and sees the boat. "Guys that's the police" JJ points out.

"Really Sherlock?" I question sarcastically making JJ roll his eyes with a smile.

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me" Pope says walking over to the side of the boat that the Police will be at.

"Just act frickin' normal" Kie says pushing her hair off her shoulder.

"Evening officers." Pope smiles to the policemen as their boat stops next to ours. 

"Evening." I recognize his voice from somewhere. The motel. "Here" the officer passes Pope a rope to tie the boats together. "JJ tie this off" Pope passes the rope to the blonde.

"What about JB?" I whisper to Kie.

"It'll be fine" she whispers back.

"Miss I haven't seen you before" the officer says pointing to me. 

"I've just moved here" I answers standing next to JJ smile a smile.

"You know the marsh is closed?" the man tells us even though we already knew that.

"No"

"No, wow"

"Why's it closed?" Pope asks as I look to my side into the water and see that John B can't be seen which is a good sign but also bad. What if he's out of air?

"Well, we're conducting a search out here. Boat went down" we know John B is currently in it. "Seen anything?" the deputy asks looking between all of us but stopping at me. "I see you got yourself into some trouble there miss..."

"Epplonia , Jessica Epplonia" I finish his sentence.

"Epplonia?" He question raising his eyebrows.

"Yup" I say confused 

"Where's your friend you always hang with? He here?" The deputy asks referring to John B.

"He's working" Kiara answers with a shrug.

Me and Pope share a look of worry about the fact that John B may have run out of air. "I'm gonna check your little boat out." The deputy says stepping onto the boat. 

"Yeah sure hop aboard" Pope says trying to act normal even though I know he's worried. 

"Check her out" JJ says slinging his arm over my shoulder.

The officer looks around the boat and holds up a life jacket "you got another one of these?" He asks. 

"Yeah uh it's... it's in the hold" JJ says and I walk over grabbing it showing the officer. The officer stands on the edge of the boat "careful you don't wanna slip" Pope warns trying to hurry their leave.

The officer doesn't listen he puts his sunglasses on that have been hanging around his neck and looks into the water. I hope John B is okay. What if the officer sees him?

"Beautiful day isn't it?" The officer questions stepping back onto the police boat.

"Sure is" I smile

"Beautiful" Pope says nodding his head untying the boats and putting the police rope backon their boat. 

"We'll be gone soon sir" JJ says as the boat drives off.

"Yes you will" the officer replies leaving.

I'm sorry this is so short I know I've stopped like right in the middle of a scene but I've gotta do all my summer homework I've not done in time for next Wednesday. So I sort of need to go do that now.
