My eyes flutter open at the sound of someone knocking on the bedroom door. I open my eyes and see JJ smiling at me.

"Get out of bed love birds we're off out on the boat." I hear John B say and JJ flips him off and pulls me to his chest.

"Give us ten minutes" JJ groans and the door shuts.

We pull away from each other and JJ tucks my hair behind my ear. "I'm sorry for....everything yesterday" he tells me with sad eyes.

"I am too I shouldn't have shouted at you." I tell him kissing him lightly on the cheek.

"You pick out a bikini whilst I change" he says after a moments silence.

I nod standing out of bed with a yawn and a stretch. I walk over to the draws and open the one that belongs to Kie. I pick out a white bikini and pair it with some light blue denim shorts.

I quickly get changed and turn to see JJ staring at me. "You okay there?" I question with a smile.

"You-your back I-I um" he begins I look into the mirror and turn so I can see my back. I have 8 finger nail marks on the back of my shoulders. And two at the front it must be when he held me against the door.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to do that" he tells me with his head in his hands.

"No no no it's fine I'm okay it doesn't hurt" I try to assure him although I don't think it's working.

"No it's not 'okay' I did that I hurt you" he blames himself.

"Look let's just go out on the boat and have a nice day" I tell him picking his head up from his hands.

"Okay I'll go down there now I'll tell them to wait for you" he tells me and we share a quick kiss before he leaves the room.

I can't lie it does hurt but I don't want to tell him that. I quickly brush through my hair and put it in a high pony. I rummage through Kiaras draw once more and find some deodorant and body spay.

I go into JJ's bathroom and look through the draws and find a new toothbrush. I open it up and quickly brush my teeth. Before walking out I put some more perfume on just to be safe.

I put slip some flip flops on and walk down to the boat with just my phone and vape. Which is now just a disposable one as I've run out of liquid.

Eventually I reach the boat and Pope reaches his hand out to help me onto the boat. I sit next to JJ and Kie comes up to me almost instantly.

She sits beside me and John B says off. "Look Jess I feel terrible. I shouldn't have brought up your parents or your Aunt. I'm sorry I really am I don't know what I was thinking. Please forgive me" Kiara apologies looking at me for forgiveness.

"Kie what you said hurt I won't lie it really hurt. I don't know what made you say that and don't do it again. If you do it again I won't hesitate to cut you off. But I do forgive you." I tell her and her eyes light up when I tell her I forgive her.

"Thank you, thank you it'll never happen again" yeah I should hope it bloody won't.

"Jess do you want a beer?" Pope asks holding a beer out for me to take.

"Yeah sure" I smile taking it from him and quickly opening it. Me and Kie make our way to the bow of boat to lay and tan in the hot OBX sun.

JJ whistles standing up from his spot and looks over to the boat thats passing by. "You guys see that? That's the Malibu 24-MXZ. The worlds finest wakesetter." JJ turns around, his eyes landing on me and Kie at the top of the boat.

"N-number one in luxury, quality and performance." He stumbles over his words. "200K, easy."

"We picked the wrong parents." Pope mumbles as he looks at the boat.

"I hate to break it to you guys but that's Topper and his girlfriend." Kie informs the four of us as the boat goes past.

Me and Sarah share short eye contact and a small smile. She doesn't acknowledge anyone else on the boat, just me.

"You don't have to act like you don't see us, bitch." Kie shouts, loud enough for Sarah to hear. Sarah doesn't look back at us, instead she keeps looking straight forward, completely ignoring her.

"What is the deal with you two?" JJ questions curiously as he walks towards me and Kie standing right in front of the sun.

"Doesn't matter." Kie quickly shuts down JJ.

"Now move you're blocking the sun" I tell him tapping his leg then laying down.

After about 20 minutes of soaking up the sun on my front I sit up to turn on my back and see JJ on the phone. Trying to hide the fact that he is.

I shrug Turing around facing my back to the sun.

"Jess what the fuck happened?" Kie questions loud enough for me to hear but quite enough so no one else hears. Touching the marks on my shoulders making me hiss in pain.

She keeps prodding it making it hurt more "will you give up that hurts!" I whisper shout at her.

"Who did that to you?" She asks me scooting a little closer to me.

I don't answer her just look over to JJ and she understands what I mean.

"I'm sorry what? He did that? Why?...if you don't mind me asking" she questions turning onto her stomach just like me.

"He was keeping me from going and shouting at you" I tell her sitting up and taking a drink of my beer.

"What're you two whispering about?"John B questions as we pull up to the wreak.

"Nothing you guys head in we've got to put our shorts back on." I tell John B and smiles putting out his hand to help me up.

"Why thank you" I smile to the boy.

"Your very welcome" he smiles back.

"Yeah thanks John B" Kiara says helping herself up and slipping on her shorts.

The boys make their way inside and sit at a random table. I walk to the stern of the boat and retrieve my shorts slipping them on along with my flip flops.

"Come on then let's go in there before they order the whole menu and make us pay for all of it." Kie jokes although I don't think she is actually joking.

We both make our way up to the wreak and sit with the boys. "What've your ordered?" Kie questions as she sits down next to JJ. I sit on the other side on the table in between John B and Pope.

"Burgers and fries and John B ordered Jess and iced tea" Pope tells the group and I smile at John B's kind gesture.

"Awh thank you." I smile and give John B a quick hug which he returns also with a smile.

"No problem Jess, I remember first time we came here you ordered one." John B reminds me about my first time at the wreak.

"Speaking of" Pope says as the food and my iced tea are all placed on the table.

"Thank you" I smile to the waiter as he walks away.

Everyone drives into their food right away expect from me. I begin sipping my iced tea. Which is decorated with a tiny pink wooden umbrella that make me smile.

"You not gonna eat that Jess?" JJ questions pointing to my food.

"No you can have it if you want it" I tell him moving my plate a closer to him.

"I won't pass up free food." JJ chuckles taking my plate and putting it on top of his empty one. All with one hand this boy is definitely hungry.

"I'm paying for it anyway it was free in the first place for you" I remind him with a smile shaking my head.

The door swings open making the umbrella in my drink fly out and lands on the floor next to Popes foot.

"Hi Jess" I hear a familiar voice say to me.

I look up and see the familiar face of Ashley my childhood best friend. Who I saw at the kegger a little while ago.

"Ash hi" I smile and stand from my chair and give her a hug which she returns.

"I've not seen you since that kegger. How are you? How are all of you?" She questions the group as I take back my seat and she picks up my little wooden umbrella and puts it back in my drink.

"I'm doing good we're just having a little meal" I reply and everyone answers her question with 'good' and 'alright'.

"I was just coming to grab a coffee but it was nice to see you all." She smiles before waking up to the counter.

"I'll go pay you guys can go down to the boat" I say standing up from my place.

"I'll do that just gimme you'd card I'll go pay. You can go work on your tan" JJ says holding his hand out for my card.

"Fine, here but don't be buying anything else whilst you're up there." I tell him getting my card from the back of my phone case.

Me, Kie, Pope and John B all make our way back to the boat. Me and Kie take off our shorts and retake our places at the bow of the boat.

"Let's go then, Captain." JJ says standing to attention saluting to John B as he steps on the boat. JJ passes me back my card and I put it into my phone case.

"Sure thing" John B says setting off from the dock.

I don't even focus on where we're going I spend my time evening out my tan.

Eventually the boat stops and I almost roll off when it stops but I catch myself.

"I'm going to grab a tank top. Do you want me to get you one Jess?" I hear Kiara ask me. I rest my head on my hands still laying down.

"Yeah please" I smile to the girl and she nods walking into the chateau.

"Come on AJ we're taking this trip in the van" JJ says helping me up from my spot.

I quickly put my shorts on a take a hit of my vape a couple times. As we walk up the dock and get into the van.

I sit in the back with Pope and soon Kiara once she exits the chateau. When she finally does she looks towards the boat for us. I slide open the door of the Twinkie and shout her over to us.

"Here you go" she says throwing me a black tank top.

John B sets off driving to god knows where. I've figured it's best to ask after we get there cause JB doesn't usually have an answer.
