Valentino's P.O.V

Look at her. So beautiful, so peaceful. The morning sunlight shines through the slit in the curtain making her perfect soft skin glow in a light golden brown tone. She sleeps with her arms wrapped around me as she rest a small head on the right of my chest. Her pregnant stomach mostly on my torso with a leg tugged in between mine. Her breathing calm and settled.

Am I dreaming? I must be because she's more than perfect. And I ask myself, why did I ever hate her?
She's easily the kindest and brightest soul in a room without even having to smile.

I run my index finger over her bare back making her smile as she arises. "You were drooling, Snart." I tease her as she slaps my chest lightly. "Have a good night's rest?" I continue running my finger over her back.

"Uhh, duh. I thought the drooling gave it away." She answers with her raspy morning voice. She unwraps her arms from me and sits up straight looking down at me.

Her beauty is honestly of rarity. Her pregnant naked body is truly made by the gids themselves. If I didn't know better I'd say she's the goddess of beauty.

"Tino?" She looks at me with a raised eyebrow and I realise that I hadn't been paying attention to what she was saying because of her distracting beauty.

"Sorry, say again." I say and she chuckles. "You were staring at my tits, weren't you?" She smirks slyly.

"As a matter of fact, yes I was." I sat and lean again the beadstand. "Well, shellfish, I wasn't expecting you to answer that." She climbs off the bed and covers her glorious naked body with a silky yellow robe. "Anyways, I said that we should probably get started on our thanks giving dinner. It's a lot of food that takes a crazy load of time to prepare." She slips on her cute turtle slippers.

"I honestly don't like the idea of you standing in the kitchen on your feet for too long. But, I can't cook for my dear life so can't we get like a chef or head down to the restuarant or something?" I suggest and she shakes her head making her morning curls to bounce vigorously.

"Cannot do. First off, none of the chefs in my restuarant can cook certain meals, specifically Thanksgiving meals, like me. And secondly, I'll take breaks and relax my swelling feet. And lastly..." she walks over to me and pecks my lips. "I'll teach you. I'm not only an amazing cook, I'm also a fantastic teacher." She smiled and kissed the corner of my lips. "Now get out of that bed and meet in the kitchen in five." She orders.

"Yes, sir." I say and she glares me. "Ma'am." I chuckle as she disappears into the bathroom to brush her teeth I assume.

She soon re-emerges and leaves to the kitchen. I get up and tidy up the bedroom and head to brush my teeth. When I'm all done and dressed in my tracksuit pants, I head to the kitchen to find Harley already buttering the turkey.

"Poor thing. Do you have to shove your hand so hard up it's ass?" I chuckle and she flashes me the finger with her other hand.

"If you don't be careful I shove something up your...hole." She saves and I throw my head back laughing full heartedly. "I bet you'd love to do just that, sweets." I say and she flips me the bird again making me laugh even harder.

She then retracts her hand from the chicken. "Okay, why don't you peel and cut the apples for me, babe." She says as she puts the tray with the raw turkey turkey and a few vegetables on the side in the oven.

"Sure thing." I say and the speakers somehow start playing Sure Thing by Miguel.

Harley and I lock eyes in confusion. "Google pause." She says and I shake my head. "Let it play, it's a lovely song." I say and she nods. "Google resume." And the song resumes playing.

I start peeling the apples when Harley stargs singing to the song lyric for lyric. If I'm being honest she really doesn't have a great singing voice but she sings the song with so much happiness and passion that her voice doesn't sound so bad.

As the song progresses she starts to sing louder and louder, swaying her hips around the kitchen until the chorus comes and she screams in my face, clearly finding humour in doing so.

"Even when the sky comes falling
Even when the sun don't shine
I got faith in you and I
So put your pretty little hand in mine
Even when we're down to the wire baby
Even when it's do or die
We could do it baby, simple and plain
'Cause this love is a sure thing!" She screams in my face and I scrunch my face a little when her voice cracks while she sings. When I feel the like her voice is getting too much, I put down the knife and apple and grab her around the waist making her shriek amd giggle at the same time.

"You know, babe, you've got an amazing voice but my ears can only handle so much." I say and she giggles.

The song ends and I can't stop loving you by Kem starts playing. The song just warms the atmosphere around us. "Okay, Valentino, I can't sing. Now let go so I can continue cooking." She tries to seem serious but fails as she grins widely.

"Bella signora(pretty lady), you don't need to cook anything because you are my full meal. From starter to desert." I say and she blushes hiding her smile into her shoulder.

"I've never heard you speak Italian." She says and I chuckle. "And as much I'd love to say you're my meal too, I've got two girls who say otherwise." She says and i raise an eyebrow at her. "Girls? Two girls?" I question and she puffs her chest out to seem intimidating.

"Valentino Raheem Princely, That bet we made earlier on this year still stands. I want that house and I know for a fact that these girls won't let me down." She states firmly and I chuckle.

"They're are boys. Both of them. But what happens if they happen to be a boy and a girl? Then how does the bet go?" I raise an eyebrow with a ghost smile.

"We both win. I get my house and you get your car." She says and somehow slips from my hold. "But we both know that you aren't getting that car. Maybe a minivan, yeah." She says and I scrunch my face at the thought of driving a minivan making her laugh wholeheartedly. "Relax, Valentino, you can always get a nice SUV." She says and I sigh in relief.

We then proceed to cook for a couple of hours holding light conversation and jokes while we do so. She ends up teaching me how to bake an apple pie and how to make mashed potatoes.

Just when everything's almost ready we go and take a shower together. We take longer than intended, which resulted in the gravy almost burning but still savable.

"I'm never showering with you again." She deadpans as she dries her damp hair.
"You sure about that?" I ask with a smug smirk making her flip me the bird, leaving the room with me laughing.

As we dish up for ourselves a knock resounds around the apartment. Harley and I lock confused gazes. "Expecting anyone?" I ask and she shakes her head. "Me neither. I'll go check who it is." I say as I get up and head to the foyer.

I open the door to find the last person I thought I'd ever see. The moment I lay eyes on him, my blood boils for Harley.

"What are you doung here?" My voice comes out harsh and venomous.

"I could ask the same about you." He folds his arms over his chest and I glare hard at him.

"Who is it?" I hear Harley's feet shuffling towards the door. She comes to stand beside me and I feel her body tense up when she lays eyes on the man before us.

"Dad..."
