"You know what? You aren't that bad."

Skeleton decides, watching television with Zombie in his living room.
Zombie just laughs, draping his arm around the back of the sofa.

"See, I told you you'd like it here. You can stay until we build you your house. Or, okay hear me out, if you join Monster School, we're getting houses free from Herobrine. The only thing is, you have to be roommates with the person that you're next to in class."

Skeleton just nodded, only half listening to whatever Zombie was saying.
A house sounded good, a place to live.

"I hope I'll be partnered with you."

Skeleton said, looking over to Zombie, who was still watching the television.

"Hmm idk, I'll probably be with Pigman. I've got to introduce you to him sometime!"

Skeleton wondered who that was, but if Zombie was excited talking about him, he's probably not going to be a threat.

"I need to speak with this 'Herobrine' first, though."

Zombie knew this, if Skeleton wanted to join, then he'd have to confirm with Herobrine.
He could always call him, he was always available.

"So are you set on joining Monster School?"

"Mhm."

"Alright, I'll be right back."

Zombie rounded the corner into his kitchen, where he pulled out his phone and dialled Herobrine's number.

"Hey Hero!"

"What d'you want, Zombie?"

"Soooo I was thinking; you know that Skeleton that we saw? Yeah, we'll we've become friends!"

"You what?! You do realise that that could have gone very wrong?!"

"Well it didn't! And, I'm pretty sure that he can join Monster School!"

A sigh was heard from the other end.

"Are you sure that he's not a threat, Zombie?"

"Uhm.. I'm 87 percent sure!"

"...87 percent??.. whatever. So he won't hurt anyone?"

"As long as they don't threaten him, he seems nice!"

"Alright. Bring him in tomorrow night, I'll talk to him."

A click was heard and the call was ended. Zombie had a smile on his face; a new person was joining at last.
He rummaged through his snack draw and brought out two ice creams, walking to the living room and giving one to Skeleton.

"Skel! Skel! Skel! Skel! Wake up! I got to show you Monster School!"

Skeleton groaned and stirred, before getting up. He realised that he'd fallen asleep on Zombie's sofa, and that he must've given Skeleton a blanket. His face heated up in embarrassment.

"What? School?"

Zombie nodded and he rushed around, packing stuff for them both.

"Fun fact, did you know that I dropped out of school as I was one of the smartest?"

Skeleton explained to Zombie as they walked to school.

"I might not be that smart anymore though."

"You're gonna need to be smart. We've got a test today."

Skeleton began panicking. If he had to do a test, he wasn't sure what they were teaching.

"You'll probably be fine."

A cracking sound was heard from next to him, and he looked over to see Zombie biting a lollipop.

They arrived at Monster School, and that's when Skeleton really started to panic.
What if they don't like me??

I threatened to attack their fucking teacher!!
And some of their friends!!
But all those thoughts changed as he walked into the school.

"Hey! Are you the new student?"

"What's your name?"

"Where are you from?"

Skeleton had never felt so included, even before he had to run away. He never had many friends.

"Okay, everyone, I'm sure you want to get to know the new student, but everyone to their seats! Skeleton, you can sit behind Pigman."

Pigman raised his hand. He was the one sitting next to Zombie.
So this is Pigman.
Interesting.

"Where's Wither?"

"Sir."

Zombie said, almost laughing.

"Wither's just text me; he overslept."

Herobrine sighed.

"Of course he did. He's almost always late."

Herobrine was just in the middle of explaining the test, when the entrance door swung open.

"Wither. You're late."

"Yeah, yeah, I know."

"I'm sure you know it's test day, and because you're a hacker, I have prepared a harder test for you."

Skeleton looked over at who it was. He froze.

A Wither Skeleton.

Dammit!
I'm so stupid!
I should have known it was a Wither Skeleton from 'Wither'!
Never mind, I won't make a scene, that's just embarrassing. I'll just act brave, then he'll have no reason to attack me.

Or so he thought. Wither wasn't going to attack him in the first place.
He was just a bit wary of new people.

He took his place next to Skeleton, who refused to look up unless it was necessary.

Herobrine began handing out the tests.

Everyone had finished the tests, and Herobrine was grading them.
Before he looked up, directly at Skeleton.

"It seems that I switched yours and Wither's test by accident."

"No wonder I found it so easy."

"It wasn't that difficult."

Wither looked over to Skeleton, who was looking back at him. Both had the same piercing stare.

"Alright stop! You guys have the exact same look and it's terrifying!"

Skeleton's attention shot to Zombie, and his antics also caused Wither to laugh.

Herobrine coughed, getting both their attentions again.

"Wither, you got 100%, like always, and it was an easier test for you, so I'm not going to make you redo it. Skeleton, usually I would get you to redo the test with the one you were supposed to have, but considering you did Wither's test, which I made sure to be majorly difficult, and got 87%, I'm not going to."

Skeleton just smiled and looked over to Zombie, who's jaw had dropped.

"No wonder you dropped out!"
