Anita sped though the hallways of the castle, where the king lay preserved in his bed. To those who didn't know, he may have just looked like he was sleeping, but all of them knew that that was not the case.
The king had died, valiantly fighting against the Wither Skeletons, they had attacked him with an ambush, and he had not been prepared.

"Rest in piece, my love..."

Anita whispered, placing a single rose on the body of her husband, the dead king.
It was ritual for them to do that for their loved ones, yet she still couldn't stop the violet tears that left her eyes (Endermen can't touch water, so their tears aren't exactly water. It's a liquid, although what liquid it is isn't exactly certain).

A soft knock came from the door, and Anita knew at once who it was.
She uttered a 'come in', and the kingdom's advisor came in, looking as forlorn as anyone who'd heard the news of the king.

"Ivor, what is it?"

"G-greetings your m-majesty, I'm just hear t-to deliver s-some news about T-Trinity."

Anita gave him a smile; Ivor was one of the kindest Endermen that you could meet, although he was often discriminated against due to his stutter. But it wasn't his fault, he couldn't help it, and he wasn't doing it to purposely annoy anyone.

"What is it, my dear?"

"Well h-he's on his way, b-but he has t-told me that h-he's bringing a-a friend to s-support him."

Anita held a smile, she was happy for her son, and was glad that he had someone to help get him through this hard time.
Yet Ivor still looked worried, and noticing that, her smile dropped.

"What is it, Ivor? You still look worried."

"W-well, his friend... h-his friend is a W-Wither Skeleton."

Anita's mouth was set into a firm line at that, her 'fangs', whatever they're named, stood out more.
She turned away from Ivor and glared at the wall. Of course her son would make friends with one of them. But she couldn't stop him from being who he was; plus, he'd never met them.

She turned back to Ivor, no longer angry, but more worried. She sighed and looked down, a hand placed on her husband's cold one.

"I worry for him... but if Trinity trusts him, then I shall as well. For now."

"So what's your name? I mean, when there's a bunch of Endermen, I can't just call you Enderman, can I?"

Enderman and Wither were walking across the smooth floor of endstone, mostly in silence.

"... it's Trinity."

"Lmao what kind of name is Trinity?!"

Wither kept mocking Enderman's name, not realising that his eyes had lit up a more vibrant shade than before.
He let out a small growl.

"You're treading on thin ice, Wither."

"Actually I'm treading on endstone. No wait actually I'm not treading on anything, I'm floating."

"Shut up."

The rest of the journey was silent. Wither could tell that Enderman was stressed and upset over this, so he didn't press any further and just walked with him, or rather floated, much to Enderman's relief.

Enderman began thinking about his father and the activities that they would do together when he was little. The memories brought tears to his eyes, which then began pouring down.
He saw buildings in the distance, and figures as well. Pulling Wither a little closer (he didn't want Wither to get hurt. Remember, platonically~), he didn't want the others to attack Wither, and because Enderman had a high source of authority, they wouldn't defy him.

As the two walked past, many Endermen looked at them with disgust, fear, or ignored them completely.
They were all focused on their own business one way or another, none of them looking directly at each other.

"Trinity?"

A voice called, and the two looked over to see a spotted Enderwoman walk towards them.
Stopping in front of them, she shot a quick glance at Wither, before looking away and holding her hand out.

"Hello. You must be Trinity's friend. I'm his mother, Anita."

Wither offered her a smile and shook her hand back, she almost stumbled but kept her composure. Wither gave an apologetic grin after realising just how strong he was, Enderman face-palming.

"Sorry about that. Yeah, I'm Wither, Trinity's friend. Nice to meet you."

^^^^^^^
Ooh, meeting Enderman's mother. Also, I wanted Enderman to have a unique name, so Trinity it is.

Also, you should check out a new book that I've posted, an Ask and Dare Monster School book. Feel free to request!
