Peets stood right above his best friend's body, with tears in his eyes, "Goodbye my friend, may your soul rest in peace" he said. He then took a blanket and covered his body. Mrs Karps, Booman and Emma were also present in the Karps' sitting room. Peets left almost immediately and Emma followed. Mrs Karps and her daughter were left alone in the house to process what had just happened. "You know I never believed this day would come" Mrs Karps finally broke the silence. Booman looked at her and nodded. Booman had other things on her mind after the conversation she had with Norman the night before, "Go as far away from here as you can, don't tell anyone where you're going. Trust me, it's not safe for you here" Norman had told her. She was still confused, what did Norman mean?, what danger did he foresee?was he joking?, questions she tried to answer for the next few weeks.

The news of Norman's death sent ripples through out the world, in the Wood's home, Mrs Wood sat on her wheelchair with seriousness in her eyes, as soon as Emma came in and told her what had happened, she picked up her phone. "Is he dead?" The voice at the other end of the phone asked, "yes, he is" she replied. "It all starts now, the beginning of the end" the voice said. At the headquarters of GPOL, the Head called for an urgent meeting with her high ranking officials, "Zakarpat has made his move, we need to be ready for what might come next" she said. "I think it's about that time now, we need to summon back deputy director Dack and field agents Covis and Woods" the director of CIFA Unit suggested, "Yes, I agree." the director of Research Unit added. "No not yet", the Head declined. "Dack and the rest are still useful in the Field and besides Commander Dack has a plan"
She paused a little bit, as if to let anyone with objections raise their concerns. After the paused she continued "let's all get ready to mobilize at any point in time, the recruitment should keep on going". At this point she turned to the director of the ciphering and coding unit and she asked him, "How's the decoding to The Roots server going?" And he answered, "No luck ma'am". "Is that so" she said, "well meeting dismissed, I need a copy of all activities regarding the Zarkarpat case on my desk in three" and the meeting ended there.

At other places around the world, like in central Asia, a woman with a striking resemblance to Mr Woods was sitting outside her house on the porch, she received a phone call and the news was broken to her, "Papa is finally on the move I see, the world is about to change. This should be interesting" she said as she stood up to go into her house. She suddenly stopped at the door and turned back as if to look at something, then she said, "Where the hell are you, Dack? The world needs you now more than ever." Then she turned back and went on inside. At the coast lines of Madagascar, the world plant for development of advanced technology was attacked, no man made it out alive, the very first time the world would be introduced to the IFOs, Identified Flight Objects and the nature of their destructive capabilities. A huge blow to GPOL and a big success to Zakarpat.

Norman's funeral took place in earnest and witnessed the presence of some of the greatest names in human history, people who have done and others who would do; Zakarpat, Dack,

Mrs Wood, Emma, Peets, Matsumoto, Lulu, Philly, Amara, to mention just a few. Apart from Peets, Emma and Mrs Wood, the rest had to hide their presence. They came there secretly to witness the one event rumored to change the world forever. After the funeral, Dack came over to Norman's grave and paid his respect, before uttering the following words: "your journey starts now, the fate of humanity rides on your shoulders. Don't let us down lad." He then turned and standing behind him was Amara. "What do I owe the Head of the entire GPOL, to warrant this visit" he asked. "You know very well I'm not here to see you, Dack" she answered. "So this is the boy, huh?" She asked him, "yeah" he replied, "Zakar wouldn't even see this coming, hopefully" he added. They both walked down towards the gates and then she asked him, "why won't you come back to HQ?, I could use your help you know". "I'll come back when the time is right, besides Zakar won't be making any major moves for at least seven years. So we have a little bit of time" he replied. "I'm sure you heard, he has a new form of drones and they took out the research labs in Madagascar", she added. "Yeah, I heard. Agent Wood is paralyzed and agent covis has gone missing." Dack informed Amara, "They were our best agents" she exclaimed.

Booman took Norman's advise and decided she couldn't live in the house her father, and two siblings died. She told her mom and her mom made arrangements for her to go live abroad in the States. She was registered as an orphan and was adopted by some loving gentle people living by the countryside. She had said all her good-byes to everyone and she got on a plane to America. The plane most definitely took off but it never landed. The Airline company said that it's almost like the plane disappeared mid-air.
