Emma, Peets along with Amara had just arrived at the Wood's home where Ronnie Anne was waiting by the doorsteps. As the young ones exited the car they ran excitedly towards their mother. "Welcome back kids" Amara was not far behind, "Anne, how are you?" After exchanging pleasantries Ronnie Anne told her kids to go on in, she and Amara needed to talk. "This has Dack written all over it" Ronnie Anne said. "I did tell him you would find out" Amara said to herself. "You do know this is part of his elaborate plans right, he's up to something once again" Ronnie Anne pointed out. "Yes, I do know. Look Anne, this was able to bring him back to HQ, and he brought in Peets to help with the Roots server, he's still hooked up on it for some reason" Amara explained. "Don hid something on that server and Dack will do anything to get to it. So any luck with it yet?" Ronnie Anne asked. "Well, not really, Peets said he could crack it open but its been three months now and I'm not sure he's made much progress" Amara answered. "He hacked our server, he might just be able to crack this too. Just make sure you are the first person he shows whatever is on that server"Ronnie Anne insisted. "Already told him that, the kids are waiting. It's time to tell Peets everything" Amara said and in they both went.

While inside, the four had started their discussion. "Look, Peets, I know Emma must have told you a little bit here and there about the truth and what's really going on, even though she was told specifically not to. Knowing you, you might have put together the pieces from what you've heard and seen. So let me help you fill the gaps." Amara paused to see if Peets was following, "First things first, You already know that Zakarpat is an ancient being that doesn't seem to be a fan of death. He has lived a lot of lives as a lot of people, settling down, getting married. He is know to have lived at least twenty six different lives and has had from those life's at least one hundred and five offsprings. His three last lives were as your mother's grandfather, your father's father and Mr Karps." "Hold on just one minute" Peets stopped Amara, "let me wrap my head around this, I am the grandchild and the great grandchild of the world's craziest, psychopathic and sociopathic maniac while also having lived next-door to him for at least eight years and to cap things off, I'm best friends with his child who is in theory both my granduncle and my uncle" he landed confused. "You seem to be all caught up" his mother said.

"OK..., wait, how does he remain so young and if my memory serves me right, I remember Mr Karps aged, rapidly I must add" Peets asked. "That is the tricky part, remember what Emma said about Zakar's DNA?" Amara asked Peets. "Yeah, Something about how its different from ours" Peets stated. "Yes, exactly" Amara said. "Cells in our bodies don't live for long, so they divide. As they divide they weaken and eventually can't work at 100% functionality and slowly we die" Amara explained. "But if the lifespan of the cells are increased, the rate at which cells divide reduces allowing for a longer period of time before the cells weaken. Then in theory one can live longer" Peets theorized. "Always knew you were a smart one" Amara said with a smile. "But that doesn't answer my question completely" Peets pointed out. "Well, this is even trickier. The bonds in his DNA are a little bit elastic and can easily crumble. They can also easily be overhauled, restructured so to say. Just like how you can clench your fist and roll your eyeballs without much effort, he can restructure his DNA, completely replace them even just as easily. That's how he was able to live different lives looking like different people" Ronnie answered.

Their conversation went on for hours, while Amara told Peets all he was supposed to know and Emma just sat there and listened to pick up any information she didn't have already. At one point Amara brought up one of GLOBAPOL's most sacred rules: Agents in the field are forbidden from taking a life whatever the circumstances. "That's odd" Peets said. "I've read my dad's, mom's and even your file Ma'am and the missions you all took on required some putting to rest" Peets stated. "GLOBAPOL issues weapons whose primary function is to neutralize one's opponents. I'll agree that mishaps happen in the field. There are only five agents in GLOBAPOL's history that have never taken a life in the field before. I'm unfortunately not on that list" Amara stated. "But I am" Ronnie said almost with a hint of pride in her tone. "That's impossible mom, you once went undercover in the heart of the top brokers of human and drug trafficking and you brought it down to its knees" Peets argued. "I remember that mission" Amara said with a loud laugh. "We were all so surprised when she returned from going undercover six months before. She was radio silent the whole time. She took down the whole operation from within. A single bullet was not used, that has to be like the No. 1 most badass undercover mission ever" Amara continued.

"How did she manage to do something like that?" Peets asked. "One of the great Wood family mysteries, I guess. She mostly uses her intellect, although her codename was Vixen, which was given to her by me due to her temperamental tendencies and cunningness. Most agents knew her as Minerva"  Amara said. "Minerva Orland?" Peets asked. "No", "James Yatri?", "Definitely not", "witch of wrath then" "No, Minerva, roman goddess of strategic warfare and the arts" Amara ended the back and forth between her and Peets. "You really need to dial down on your anime" she said to Peets. "I'm not sure if the fact that you knew those references make you cool or weird" Peets said. "Just because I'm old doesn't necessarily mean I'm not conversant with mordern day youngster antisocial obsessions" Amara said. "That's kinda exactly what it means" Emma interrupted them. "You do know that your mother was given this name before all these characters were even thought of" Amara asked Peets. "Huh, I didn't even think of it that way and watching anime is not a mark for antisocials  ". "Well anyway that's why she was know as Minerva because of her crazy adept ability to use her wits when must people would use their fists" Amara explain.

Amara then got a phone call. "Hello..., yeah..., we're on our way" Amara ended the call. "What's up" Ronnie anne asked. "Multiple IFOs en route to the global presidential submit, guess why" She said as she stood up. "Emma" she said signalling to her. "Already on it, Philly send a red riot to my team" Emma said and ended the call. Amara and Peets were already outside getting into Amara's limo when Emma came out and screamed, "Pendant!" This machine was on standby in GLOBAPOL HQ and it immediately responded to its master's call.
