Fingers skillfully moving the paint brush, the white strokes over the still not dried black paint combining it into a light grey shade giving it more realistic look.

Jungkook's finger movement was extremely careful yet light, the way the thin bristles coated in white paint moving around the previously coated black paint on the canvas leaving a thin trail of white getting turned into grey satisfied him.

Serenity he felt when he inhaled the aroma of the paint, surely it wasn't the best scent but for him it was better than inhaling any other scents in this world.

Dipping the paint brush in the water cup placed on the table besides him, he picked up a brush with thick bristle bunch and dipped it into the purple colour he had squeezed out previously on his palate that was held between his fingers.

Working efficiently he circled around the two white spots which were left blank before, he squinted his eyes trying to focus as much as he could.

His eyes flickered to the window which was covered by the curtains still the sheer line of sunlight passing right between the gap reflected on his canvas.

Getting his attention back he let the paint brush between his fingers drop on the floor. He glanced around not founding an appropriate brush, deciding that his fingers would do.

Dipping his fingers in the black paint he softly stroked around the painted his movements being ever so carefull.

Once done he backed away looking at the canvas which was previously blank now all coloured with a wolf— his inner wolf, his bestfriend Justin.

No one would ever have the kind of bond he has with Justin, he loves Justin more than anything enough to give himself up for the sake of his wolf. He sat down on the floor looking up at his painting it was still a bit moist a silly mistake and it might be ruined.

He was very much concious when he had shifted into his wolf form, his limbs still seemed to ache from the sudden shifting looking down at his paint covered fingers he couldn't believe they were huge black paws a night before.

A few things did made him think a lot, he wasn't an alpha as he believed he was. When tried to ask Justin about it his wolf never answered, it had never happened before whatever or however pissed his wolf might be, Justin always answered all his questions.

It felt way more empty when he couldn't hear Justin's voice echoing around his mind, his inner self felt too empty, the thought of losing Justin scared him, he doesn't want to focus on anything other than his wolf.

'Justin? My wolfie are you okay?'

He called out for his wolf maybe his wolf would answer this time...

But Justin didn't, his alpha— trueblood wolf didn't answer him once again his question went unanswered.

Taking a deep breath filling his lungs with the scent of paint lingering around he again glanced at the portrait he had painted, it took him seven hours straight not even a minute of resting he just kept doing it.

How happy Justin looked in the portrait, it was when the wolf was staring at himself in the mirror, with tougue lulled out in excitement, his purple irises holding happiness, shining under lights.

He was a trueblood, a trueblood didn't exist anymore the last one existed five hundred years ago according to the history books he had read.

His parents who he definitely assumed as his parents weren't actually his parents, not biological parents atleast.

Been lied to all his life, his whole seventeen years of life he has been living a lie.

It frustrated him to the core, making him bunch his fingers together in a tight fist.

"Everyone lies, everyone lies to me" Jungkook took a deep breath looking down at his fingers, his chest felt heavy, the feeling of betrayal hit him to the core of his heart with his vision starting to blur with the amount of saline water accumulating in his lower lid gathering up there, finally forming a drop and trailing down his cheeks.

"My parents lied, m-my eomma, appa lied to their Jungkook-ie, they said I'm their blood... their on-only son" he hiccuped after completing his sentence, the images of his assumed parents running through his mind, their smiles, their words of love, the way they claimed that he was their own son.

"My mate lie-lied to me, since the moment he fou-found me, all I heard was lies from him. Not even a single sentence he uttered about him-himself turned out to be rea-reality" Jungkook said as his own realisation hit him, he balled himself into a ball looking at the closed curtain he wanted to escape in a way that he'd be around.

Ironic it sounded, didn't make sense of course. His heart had broken in a way with such loudless echoing in his head and no one even heard a slight sound.

Tears were silently cascading down his cheeks, the noise were made by his throat as he sobbed, he again looked up at that portrait and sobbed louder. His wolf wasn't talking to him, without his inner creature he felt alone.

"Liar! Liar! Liar!", he shouted as a wrenched sob escaped his lips but no one heard his broken voice.

Alphas are strong.

Alphas don't cry.

Alphas are supposed to know how to fight.

Alphas aren't weak.

Alphas are supposed to protect.

Alphas are supposed to be stronger, emotionally and physically.

Alphas don't have a heart.

Alphas are supposed to be heartless.

Such a wimp Jungkook was, couldn't even be a perfect alpha werewolf and now he was known as a trueblood. More expectations would be poured down on him for not meeting the stereotypes of a strong trueblood alpha.

Another deep breath Jungkook took curling himself more pulling himself together, in a wish that his broken pieces would also come together.

Does a broken person ever heals completely?

Does a broken trust can be stuck again and can be just as new?

With every single thought passing through his head, his heart seemed to ache, who said that heart doesn't co-operate with the mind? They are the strongest allies together, if one says yes, other finds the ways of saying no. They both care about the body they are currently residing in, the body that holds them together and the bunch of nerves that connect them.

Emotions cause physical pain sometimes, heart and mind debate a lot, but just because they stand polar opposite about their decisions that doesn't mean they don't work together, opposites always sticks together, they stick together so that they could know both the wrong and right paths so the creature they reside in could walk on the straight path which consists neither.

A person isn't completely right, nor completely wrong. When one thinks about themselves they are tagged as selfish, when they keep others preference first they get lectured for not choosing themselves.

It the eyes of many, they seem to hold different kind of status. All the eyes suffocate until one knows the true intensions behind those looks.

The way everyone looked at him yesterday on the training grounds he felt suffocated, the scents of all the lower ranks made it difficult to breath, the way Yoongi insulted him while the whole crowd was watching made him completely loose his self-esteem igniting the fire of agitation of not being enough of an alpha like what they say.

Hearing about how his mate had suffered added fuel to the burning fire, his mate, his love was forced and maybe not once maybe a couple of times and he didn't knew. His inner wolf was hurt, his alpha instincts were all over the place whereas his human was broken to the core hearing just a part of suffering his mate went through.

Oh, he remembers the first time he had seen his mate ever so elegant, the way Taehyung's eyes glowed just like how he termed them to look like glow-in-dark night stickers. Never did he thought that the smile he has seen for years now was just an imitation of genuineness.

He was lied to, betrayed by his own love, every lie of Taehyung roared around his head.

Too many thoughts, too many voices, too many conclusions of things.

Felt like giving up that moment, he thought that world would look better without a wimp of an alpha around.

A person has to put up an personality of itself to fit in people's terms, different personalities for different people just so they could be around, in the process loosing their real inner self they try to hide always.

"Wanna go away, but stay behind just incase people change" Jungkook said his voice been ever so light almost a whisper that was unheard by many as he continued his sentence, "But people never change"

He laid on the floor, looking around his empty room, he was in his own room the place where he had stayed after he had turned eleven and shifted in this pack and the second day being here his mate met him.

Knowing very well that half of the pack would be searching for him, he didn't want to speak to anyone, didn't want to be under anyone's vision.

Being selfish made him feel guilty knowing there would be people worried for him, but feeling the silence around him made him proud of his decision as he looked around the emptiness around, it reminded of his heart which was as empty as the room was.
