We were finally going to prom! But before is the showcase. I can't wait! We're all have been practicing really hard and I can't wait!

My hair had to be put up in a bun so that it looked like I still had my same hair length, I don't think anyone knew yet.

We went backstage of the auditorium for a costume change when we did change, I noticed that my costume and Cole's were different from everyone else's but matching to each other.

"Cole, you've noticed that we have matching outfits and everyone else doesn't, right?" I walked up to him, with a panicky tone.

"Did my father not tell you? We're the opening act. Why else do you think you were practicing for?" He explained to me.

"Wait, what?! I'll be showing everyone that I'm not fully human!" My eyes grew big in shock.

"That's what I told my dad. But he just doesn't listen." Cole looked down.

"Ok, you guys are up." We turned around, Mr. Brookstone was there. I frowned.

"Mr. Brookstone, I'm not sure if you knew this, but I'm actually part wolf, and I kinda don't want the entire school knowing that. So can we please put this off?" I asked while showing my features to him. He looked surprised and then his face softened.

"No can do. All requests are final. You'll both just have to go up there." He sighed and pushed us near the stage.

"Here." Cole gave me my potion so that full humans wouldn't know that I was an ookami. I didn't question and sprayed it onto me.

"I'm going to regret this soooo much." I sighed. And went up to the stage when our names were called. You I definitely regretted this. I immediately noticed the crowds of people there and started freezing up.

"Forget about that fear. Think of the good. Pretend that you're somewhere you enjoy to be alone...." I remembered Lloyd's words from before. The music started playing.

"Let's make the most of the night like we're going to die young~!" Cole sang along to the instrumentals, trying to encourage me.

I tried to keep up the best I could. Over all, I think we did it pretty good. The audience seemed to like it at least.

"Well, at least that's over with." Cole sighed before heading towards the changing rooms again for the team's performance. I did the same, making a whimpering sound as I made my way to the girl's changing rooms.

"Hey, Meadow, you're going to be alright showing your true self, right?" Lloyd asked me, scratching the back of his neck.

"Um, yeah.......I think so. It's my decision and I want to open up to people." I told him.

"Next up Rochelle, Ivy and Debbie." Mr. Brookstone said.

"Of course she joined....." Morro growled.

The Lloyd, Morro and I were waiting for our names to be called while the others signed us in, honestly it was really nerve racking, what if I messed up, what if everyone laughs at me? What will everyone think about me being a hybrid?!

That was when I got pushed.....more like shoved, down.

"Excuse me!" Rochelle tried acting all innocent like. Lloyd and Morro helped me up, though.

"You......ok?" Morro asked me, I nodded.

"Here, let me help you." Rochelle let a hand out to me and I gave out a low growl. Lloyd seemed to notice and stepped in between us.

"I think you've helped enough. Now please just worry about your performance and leave us alone." Lloyd took my hand suddenly, and I blushed.

"Ok Minty, but first......" Rochelle took Lloyd and then pushed a button on a strange device, making a trapdoor open from underneath me and Morro.

"See you never~!" She cackled.

(Morro's POV)

We fell into some strange cave thing made completely of stone. Meadow seemed to be alright though.

Meadow got up and went over to see if there was an exit but there was a wall in the way.

"I think we're going to be stuck here for a while." She sighed.

"I can't believe Rochelle would do something like this...." I sat down.

"It's even worse that she has Lloyd with him......he probably just feels really sorry for me and that's why he hangs out with me....." She gloomed and curl up on the cold floor.

"Hey that's not true. I've known what Lloyd sees in you just by looking at him. He cares for you, he want to be there by your side." I blushed at the words I said, I haven't been able to say stuff like this for a while.

"Thanks Morro.......but I know you're just trying to make me feel better......." She whimpered. I got an idea.

"I'm going to tell you a story, there was a girl who was extremely cute, sweet, and kind. A boy hated that about her and decided to use magic to change her form. Even though her body was different, her friends still cared. They still loved her because it was still the same girl. Just with extra features. The boy started to realize this and starting feeling jealous that she was loved even though she looked different. Then one day, he told her how he felt and then all the anger suddenly faded away." I looked over at Meadow, one of her ears was raised.

"She helped him learn how to be good and they became great friends. The boy realized that he actually had a small crush on her. He knew it couldn't happen though, for she had fallen in love with someone else. That someone else also had fallen in love with her, the boy decided it was best to not to tell her how he felt, not even to his other new friends. He was there to support them and see their love for each other unfold. He was happy that she was happy........" I stopped talking and looked at her. She looked at me in full surprise. Tears were pricking her eyes. Did I........hurt her?

"Meadow.......I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to-" She cut me off with a hug, but it was so sudden that it knocked me over into the floor.

"Thank you......" She whispered in my ear.

"For what?"

"For telling me how much I mean to you......." Her eyes sparkled.

"Oh spinjitzu master! I just confessed to her without me realizing it!" I thought.

"Yes.......yes you did." Meadow giggled.

"Dangit, she heard me......" I thought.

"Stop thinking out loud." She playfully punched my shoulder. She then went full wolf mode and started sniffing the air. I chuckled a bit.

"Lloyd....he's behind this wall. But the scent, it goes up.......this must be the exit." She turned around to face me.

"There isn't anyway we can get there except......oh wait! I'm a ghost.....but......" I would have to do something I wouldn't want to to get Meadow through the wall as well.

"Why'd you stop?" Meadow asked.

"Uh......to get us both through, I going to have to possess you. And that's going to drain a lot of your energy. I-I don't want to hurt you........" I put my hands on her shoulders.

"I don't care, posses me if you have to, we gotta help Lloyd."

She opened up her arms to let me do my thing. I got closer but then stopped.

"Are you sure about this? It's going to be painful." She just nodded so I fused into her. I heard her scream from the pain and it was unbearable.

"I'm sorry Meadow......it'll only be a few minutes." I tried to calm her down. Eventually her screaming stopped and I was inside her.

"I'll try not to use to much of your energy and do extreme stuff......" I whispered.

"O-ok....." She whimpered a bit from the pain since she was still recovering.

"C'mon, once we get up there, I'll help you." I walked through the wall, since basically Meadow is a ghost now.

Once on the other side of the wall, there was a staircase that led up.

"There, now I'll help you." I left Meadow's body.(that sounded wrong......)

I went up the stairs helping Meadow up, when we reached the top, our turn wasn't up yet.

"Meadow! Lloyd managed to tell what happened before Rochelle could take him away. How'd you get out?" Nya asked Meadow.

"Morro......p-possesed me......" Meadow strained out.

"Meadow, don't waste your energy. You need to rest. Here, lay against the wall." I placed her down. Then I noticed Flare's sight on me and I knew the best thing to do was to run.

"Wait........MORRO YOU POSSESED HER?!?!?!? I SWEAR IF YOU HAD KILLED HER, YOU WOULD LOSE YOUR AFTERLIFE!!!!!!" Flare screamed at him as she chased me. She leaped on top on me and I collapsed on the ground.

"It was so I could help her through......." I gasped out.

"Still, you know how tiny she is compared to you, she. Could. Have. Died." She gave me a face of disapproval. I got up.

"Look, I just wanted to help her. I know you hate me and want to kill me for every time I hang out with Meadow. She's a sweet girl, I know, but I know she already has her heart on someone....." I turned away from her and helped Meadow.

"Let's go help Lloyd. Are you strong enough to stand?" She gave a small nod. I helped her over backstage. Rochelle and her group of friends walked off the stage, but Rochelle took Lloyd into a hall, so we followed.

When we got there, is something happened that made my heart break just looking at Meadow's expression.

"Rochelle, why did you bring me here?" Lloyd asked, looking unamused.

"You know why, I'm sad you keep ignoring me." She looked straight into his eyes. Lloyd looked away.

"Excuse me, but I need to go." Lloyd turned around to leave, but then Rochelle flipped him back towards her and kissed him fully on the lips.

I heard Meadow give out a small gasp. I looked down at her, she had tears streaming down her face and turned away.

"Meadow, wait. Look." I held her next to me. She looked back at them.

"Rochelle, I already have my heart set out on someone. Can't you see that yet?"

"You mean that mutt? She's not even going to be here next year."

"How do you know that?"

"I'm the one who convinced her parents to move away." She smirked.

"You what?! Rochelle, Meadow's always so kind and encouraging. She's helped me this entire year, no matter what happened to her, she pushed through. She's strong and brave, yet soft and cheerful. I want to be with her someday and start a new adventure together......" Lloyd told her, blushing at the words that fell out of his mouth.

"I hope you realize your mistake. Because I will never talk to you, no matter how annoying you can be." He said, leaving Rochelle in shock. Right when he walked through the doors to backstage, Meadow immediately leapt into him, making them crash into a storage closet that was opened. Meadow just snuggled into his chest.

"Meadow, what are you.....you heard that didn't you?" He blushed furiously.

"Well, I'd like to stay and watch but I'll leave you two alone for now." I winked, closed the door and floated away. If Meadow's happy, then I'm happy........

(Lloyd's POV)

We watched as Morro closed the door. We looked back at each other and blushed. But I didn't hesitate to hug her. She hugged me back.

"Meadow/Lloyd, I'm so sorry-" We both said at the same time. We looked at each other and laughed.

"Meadow, I'm sorry....." I rested my head onto her shoulder.

"What for, I'm the one who should be sorry."

"I let my guard down.......I hurt you......" I sniffed.

"I jumped to conclusions. I thought you liked Rochelle....." She looked away from me. I got her chin and tilted it back to me. She looked at me, blushing. There was at least three inches of space between us, but we closed the gap. Our lips collided.

I kissed her. Honestly it felt like fireworks. We've kissed only once before but this felt better somehow. I wished we could stay like this forever, but we had to part for air. I shifted us so that I was cuddling her.

"All those words you heard were true. I don't care if you're moving again, I will wait for you...." I whispered into her ear.

"I'll wait for you too......"

It was time to get up on the stage. Being there with Meadow made everything much more better.

Our music started playing. We started out playing instruments but then stopped and then started our choreography. Everyone's expressions were priceless. Even after the song was over, I wanted to keep dancing up there.

The best part was when we got up on the stage and won a million dollars! I looked at Meadow and knew she was just as giddy as I was.
