Lloyd's POV:

The party was so breath taking. Everything was so......I can't even think of a word.

"Hey, you guys made it,well besides Kai and Nya but still." Clare hugged Meadow. Meadow........

I started having thoughts.

There's no way she'd notice me.....

Sure we've been through a lot together but I feel like she only wants us to be friends. I don't want to do anything to risk our friendship.

Besides I know we haven't been honest with each other, we still keep secrets from each other besides she's probably already has eyes on someone else, everyone besides Nya, Kai, and Zane seem to like her, it's like I'm not even here-

"Ninjago to Lloyd." Jay waved his hand over my face and snapped me out of my thoughts.

"What?" I tried to quietly snap at him. Meadow turned her head around to me. Dang it she heard me....

I gave a motion to her to go on ahead.

He sighed and put his hands on my shoulders.

"Stop staring at Meadow it's starting to freak me out. I know you like her and all but seriously: personal space. She probably has some other important things to worry about than to be in a relationship." He glared at me. I rolled my eyes.

See what I mean.....?

I didn't even know that I was looking at her the whole time we were walking to where Flare and Crystal were.

Flare saw us and turned a tori(bird hybrid).

"I'll be back to pick up where we were." she turned to us.

"I was wondering when you guys would get here. It was getting kinda boring." She said.

"Wait, how did you guys come here? I knew you guys were coming but you told me you already got invited. Do you have wolf friends?" Meadow asked and Flare shook her head.

"I was invited because I'm the leader in my kind so is Clare of hers." She said with us showing looks of surprise and amazement. She took a glance at me.

"Hey do you mind if I talk with Lloyd for a sec? You guys go ahead I'll be there soon." The others went off. Crystal telling them what there was to do here.

Then she turned to me. She had a twinkle in her eyes as she looked at me.

Oh no.......

She looked at me, my clothes and my wolf features. She smirked.

"Wow Lloyd, you're really pulling off that wolf look. But of course you have to then you can attract Meadow, huh?" She playfully elbowed me. I blushed at her mention of the words 'attract' and 'Meadow'.

"What is it? You're usually don't compliment any guy else besides Kai unless you want something."

She sighed.

"I want you to help Meadow."

"What? Why? Is there a bomb in the school? Does she have a bully who's planning to prank her in front of the school? Is someone trying to kidnap her? Is she dating someone who is potentially dangerous?!" I gasped at all the possibilities (mainly the last one). She shook her head.

"No none of that it's way more important, and why would she be dating someone? Much less a dangerous person?"

"Sorry I got a little carried away....." I blushed. She started her explanation.

"Ok, so you know how there's an alpha male and female in ookami and werewolf culture, right?" I nodded.

"Currently there's only one alpha who just so happens to be male in the ookami pack, and since Meadow's new she's considered the omega and will be the least favorable." I nodded again and she continued.

"The thing is......I kinda want you to be leader so that she doesn't get hurt.......like she used to."

"So am I supposed to change the rules of the pack?" This was starting to sound crazy.

"No you're not supposed to do that!" She sighed,"I want you to become the alpha male and then choose Meadow to become the alpha female."

"How am I supposed to do that?"

"Once the alpha male is leader, he marks the female as alpha. All you got to do is show recognition of Meadow as the alpha." I was starting to get this now.

"Ok I have one question, how does one become the alpha?" She gave me a devilish look. I really don't like this.

"You're going to have to challenge the alpha male to a fight, then you win, and then you're alpha."

"What?! This is crazy! No way am I fighting to be an alpha!"

"Do it for Meadow, please? I don't want her to see her hurt."

I sighed.

"Fine...." I facepalmed while she smiled.

"Also do you know if Kai's coming?"
