Felix was on the bed sleeping peacefully. Resting all his hurt muscles. But the door opening, and the light shining brightly made him open his eyes. He looked at the door and he saw a figure of a woman, standing in the door. Felix squinted his eyes and tried to look more clearer.
The figure entered the room. Felix clenched his fists tightly and prepared himself to fight if he has to. But he signed in relief when he saw Vanessa. Sighing heavily in relief, Vanessa walked towards him and placed the basket of food and water in the table beside him.

Felix: Did you come here to tell me what I want to know? My questions I mean.

Vanessa: Eat now, questions later.

She said. He felt hungry, so it's no doubt that he needs to eat first before rambling her with questions. Vanessa placed all the foods on the plate and took some fork and she helped him sit up. She supported his head and helped him lean on the headboard. She then proceeded to slowly feed him. A bowl of fresh fruits and fresh water. After a few moments, he finished eating finally, then he signed softly and leaned his head back on the headboard.

Vanessa: Enjoyed yourself?

Felix: I guess I did.

He politely replied. Vanessa smiled softly.

Felix: When are you going to tell me everything about what you know?

Vanessa: In a while. Everything that I will tell you, will be a lot to handle.

Felix: Start talking.

Vanessa: In a while.

Felix: *Sigh* Are you just gonna keep saying that and make me wait the whole day again? If that's so, then leave me alone.

Vanessa: Now that's rude. *Chuckles* But it's okay. I understand you my dear child. You are confused. You are desperate. I understand you. And it's okay. I'll give you all the answers you need when the time comes okay?

Felix: And when's that gonna be?

Vanessa: Soon. Very soon.

Felix: *Scoffs softly* Why not tell me now?

Vanessa: You really could be impatient sometimes huh?

Felix: Yes. I am. I suggest you start explaining now.

Vanessa: *Sigh* Are you really that desperate?

Felix: I don't think there's another way to sugarcoat that but yes I am desperate. Tell me everything I need to know. Please....

Vanessa signed softly. She shook her head then chuckled.

Vanessa: If that's so, then I don't think I can't stop you.

Vanessa signed heavily.

Vanessa: Zardoz. That man. You do know that Zardoz and Zeke are brothers right?

Felix: Yes.

Vanessa: Well, it all started back in years ago. I still remember how their parents were happy to know that they were gonna be parents. *Chuckles* Queen Monica was over the moon. Days has passed by, weeks, months has passed by, Zardoz was finally born. His parents were both in awe when they saw his innocent face. I was also happy. Basically I was Queen Monica's trusted maid. I watched how they grew up. Zeke being born. The both boys lived their life together. Everything was fine. Everything was okay. All was normal. Until Zardoz...as he grew up, he suddenly changed. He was getting rude, disrespectful, he was far from the Zardoz I used to know. Then he started to hate us. Hate his people. Hate me. Hate his family. Hate his own brother. We tried everything to put him back in one piece. Bring the old Zardoz back but....he truly did change. Changed into someone we don't know. One time he decided to leave. Never leaving a single trace. His parents and Zeke tried to look for him but he never showed up. Queen Monica was depressed. Completely worried for him. Until death wrapped it's arms around her. When the King heard about her sudden death. He could not believe it. Zeke tried to help his father be himself again. Saying that he's gonna come back to normal. But normal wasn't coming back. His father, died. But that was at the time where Zardoz finally came back. At that time, Zeke's father was still alive and was about to commit suicide. When they heard that Zardoz came back that were both relieved but the looks on their faces was unbearable when....Zardoz himself....destroyed his own home. That's the start of this chaos.

Felix: He's crazy.

Vanessa: I'm trying to fulfill the promise I made his brother. To bring back the old Zardoz and be with him till the end but....I am afraid I cannot do that. He's too drowned in his own pride and ego. Like I said, he changed. Into what he believes the true him. I hope Zeke can forgive me.

Felix: He will forgive you. I know Zeke. He's a forgiving person. And I'm sure he saw all your efforts. We both know how stubborn Zardoz is. And I am certain he won't stop until he gets what he wants.

Vanessa: For sure.

She signed heavily.

Vanessa: Can you stand up?

Felix: I think so.

Vanessa: Stand up slowly.

Felix looked at her in confusion.

Felix: What for?

Vanessa: Just do what I say. I have something to show you.

Felix slowly sat up from the bed, hissing loudly in pain and gently holding his stomach. Vanessa held his shoulder and helped him stand up. Holding onto his arms and helping him stand up carefully. Felix finally stood up and they both slowly walked out of the bedroom.

Felix: Where are we going?

Vanessa: Somewhere.

Felix: Somewhere where?

Vanessa: You'll see.

Felix signed heavily. Vanessa chuckled softly. Then they both arrived at the huge dining room.

Felix: I don't wanna eat. I'm full.

Vanessa: We didn't come here to eat my dear. We are here to talk.

Felix: About what?

She didn't answer and lead him to the chair and helped him sit down. Felix grunted softly in pain and discomfort.

Vanessa: Do you want me to get you something to drink?

Felix: No I'm okay thank you.

Vanessa: Okay.

Felix: So what are we going to talk about?

Vanessa: I'm sure that you think that Azkabhan is destroyed now right?

Felix: No doubt about that yeah.

Vanessa: Some of us are alive.

Felix: What? There are? But where?

Vanessa: Come.

Felix stood up from his seat and she helped him walk. She opened a door that leads outside. They both walked down the stairs slowly. Felix felt the sun shining brightly. As the snowy ground was crushing against his feet. They both walked for a little bit and saw a village.

Felix: A village?

Vanessa nodded and guided him slowly to walk.

Vanessa: Everyone!

Everyone looked at Vanessa. But when they saw Felix, they were curious.

Vanessa: This is Felix Ackerman. King of Lazica.

Everyone was shocked. Some approached him and bowed their heads.

Felix: Who are these people? You aren't from Nyland nor Lazica.

???: We're neither.

A voice said. That voice. Sounded somewhat familiar. He looked at the person who spoke.

Felix: Isaac?

Isaac: Hello. Your Highness.

Felix saw him. Isaac had a soft, warm smile on his face. But he does have a scar on his face. On his left eye. He also saw that his left eye was blind. His whole eye was pale white. But overall, he did still have a small smile on his face.

Felix: Isaac...y-you're alive?

Isaac: Alive and healthy.

Felix ran up to him and engulfed him into a big hug. Isaac hugged him tightly.

Felix: I thought you were dead.

Isaac: You thought. But I'm alive and well.

Felix: But...the outsiders...I thought they....

Isaac: Let's just say that luck was on my side that day.

Felix: How...?

Isaac: They trapped me in their dungeon. Tried to kill me. Well they tortured me first before they tried to kill me. Never in my life have I been so grateful that I lived.

Felix: I am so confused right now....

Isaac: Don't be. Everything will be clear.

Felix: I just...I don't understand.

Isaac: Everything will be clear soon. Now....I suppose we have a lot things to talk about don't we?

Felix looked at him. This is gonna be a long talk.

(Author's POV)

Back in Nyland. Everything still wasn't okay. Everybody was badly depressed. The cheery Kingdom was now too quiet. Rheyna didn't leave the bed. Just laying there. She missed him. Missed him so dearly. Every night she would cry herself to sleep. Every night she would dream of him. And wake up being disappointed when she'd see him not there. There was this one time where she dreamt of him. They were all together. The three of them. Felix, Rheyna, and their baby. They were all in the bedroom, as they were all sitting in the bed. She remembers every single thing. That nightmare didn't let her sleep peacefully at night.

(Flashback)

She was standing near the balcony while holding her newborn baby. Her baby whining softly. She held him carefully while rocking their body side to side. A hand was placed on her shoulder and she looked up on her side and saw Felix on the her side smiling softly. Eyes shining in love, care, protection, and most importantly, he was alive. His eyes was shining brightly. Those both captivating eyes. She stared at him very fondly. Making him stare at her with the same loving stare. He looked down at his baby. Smiling even more widely and using his baby voice to speak to their baby boy. Everything was in ecstacy. It felt so surreal. It felt true. She didn't wanna wake up. She wanted to stay asleep is this is how life is going to be on the other side. Felix took him from her arms and carried him, swaying him side to side. Placing a gentle, loving, heartwarming kiss on his forehead. She smiled softly. She walked near him and leaned her head into his shoulder. Felix kissed her head and used his free arm to pull her close and hug then both close. Everything was so beautiful.

She never wanted to wake up. They both walked towards the bed. Sitting down and showering their baby with love. Things were going great. Everything was normal. Until they heard a loud scream. They were both confused. Alerted. Scared. Felix gave the baby back to Rheyna who took him immediately. Felix kneeled down in front of them.

Felix: Stay here. Don't come out of this room no matter what happens okay? Stay here.

Rheyna: No don't! Don't go. Stay with us....please....

Felix: I have to. Just stay here. Don't come out until I say so. Stay here no matter what.

He placed his lips on her forehead, placing a long loving kiss on her forehead.

Felix: I love you and our child. Stay here. I'll be back.

Rheyna: Don't. Don't go.

Felix: I love you. I always will.

Those last words of his....hit her so hard. Rheyna felt her tears down. Felix stood up and walked towards the door. She stood up and everything felt so slow. As if time was trying to stop her from getting to him. The moment his hand hand touched the doorknob, opened the door and walked away. She felt her whole world stop. He left....he left her....again....

(Flashback ends)

Every morning she would wake up. She'll frantically look for him, only to remember that he's not there anymore. That he's no longer with her. He doesn't exist anymore. It truly breaks her even more when she would remember the last words of his. He loves her. And that he would come back. But he wasn't coming back. He's never coming back. Sometimes she wished that she could take her life right here right now but she can't. Because she knows that Felix wouldn't like that idea. She's carrying a baby in her womb. She promised that she'll take care of her baby no matter what. She promised him. And the only least she could do is fulfill that promise. Love this baby no matter what. She softly sobbed. She couldn't keep everything for too long anymore. She cried. Crying out her bleeding heart. She wished that he was here. To wrap his warm, large, comforting arms around her small, petite body. Usually he would that. Whenever she wound cry, he wouldn't ask her why questions and hug her immediately. Secure her and make her feel warm. But now...for the first time the wind actually felt really good. Too cold.  Making her wrap her arms around herself and just imagine that it's him who was hugging her. But she knows damn well that it's just her. She just kept lying to herself. She's hurt. She's broken. She's lonely. She's devastated. She miss him.

She stopped herself from crying when she heard the door open. She sniffled and wiped her teary eyes and wet cheeks.

???: My Queen?

She heard a tiny sweet voice. She turned around and saw Savvianah and Cynthia was there. Looking at her innocently. She smiled softly at them.

Rheyna: Hi. *Sniffles* What are you both doing here darlings?

Savvianah: We brought some bread. Hopefully it'll make you feel any better.

She smiled warmly at them. She approached them and kneeled in front of them. Caressing their cheeks.

Rheyna: I'm okay. I'm okay sweetheart you girls don't have to worry about me. I'm alright. *Sniffles*

Savvianah: We miss him. I know you miss him too. So we asked the lady maid to bring us King Felix's favorite bread and bring it to you. Thought maybe that you were hungry.

Rheyna: Oh darlings you're so sweet. Thank you. But I'm alright. You both don't have to worry about me. I'm fine.

Savvianah: We are so sorry my Queen....we wish we could help you but....we can't.

Rheyna: *Cries softly* No it's okay...It's alright darling.

Cynthia walked near her and wrap her tiny small arms around her neck. Rheyna cried even more and hugged her small body. Cynthia by now is also sobbing. Savvianah felt tears prickling her eyes, clutching tightly on the basket. Rheyna opened her other arm for her, Savvianah dropped the basket of bread and ran up to her and join their emotional hug.

Rheyna: It's alright. It's okay. Shh....everything is going to be just fine I promise. Hmm? I promise you both.

She pecked their heads while keeping them in her arms.

???: What a painful sight to see ladies.

A sarcastic voice said. They all looked at the person leaning on the door. It was him. The greatest bastard of all. Zardoz.

Zardoz: Might if I join?

Rheyna: What are you doing here?

Zardoz: Was just walking by and saw this oh so emotional hug the three of you are now currently doing. Which I might say, you three look completely ridiculous.

Rheyna: Get out of here.

Zardoz: Well that's not nice to say to your husband now is it Rheyna?

Rheyna: Get away from us!

Zardoz: Watch your tone Rheyna. I don't okay nice.

She hugged the both girls tight. Glaring at him with burning anger. Clearly visible in her eyes. Zardoz laughed loudly making her even more angry.

Zardoz: Oh those useless glare of yours Rheyna will not scare me. I don't fear anyone.

Rheyna: *Chuckles* Really? *Sniffles* Well how about you just do me a simple favor and leave us alone? That would be very much appreciated.

She said as she stood up. The both girls hiding behind her legs.

Rheyna: We don't need you here.

She said proudly and angrily. Zardoz looked at her with those cold eyes of his. Those murderous eyes, that is sent on her way and now staring at her beautiful eyes that is teary because of the tears. He slowly approached her, walking slowly towards her and looking at her straight in the eye without emotions.

Zardoz: You should be careful with your words. Don't test me. I'm not a nice man. Just because you are pregnant, it doesn't stop me from hurting you.

Rheyna: Hmph....try me....

She said. Zardoz glared at her. Making her glare at him even more. Zardoz chuckled before looking away. But a very harsh, loud, and hard hand was sent on her way towards her cheek. Making her fall down to the ground. Two girls squealed in horror and surprise.

Savvianah: My Queen! Get out of here! Get out!

She yelled angrily. Taking the piece of bread and throwing it towards him. One bread hit him in his face. Zardoz scoffed in disbelief before looking at her with those same scary eyes. Savvianah felt her soul and body shiver. But she refused to show it to that she was scared.

Savvianah: Get out of here! Get out! Leave us alone!

Throwing more bread towards his way. Zardoz strided towards her and took a fistful of her hair making her scream in pain.

Cynthia: Savvianah! Stop it!

Zardoz kept pulling her hair back and forth. Slapping her cheeks very hard. Making her cry out in fear and pain. Rheyna stood up quickly and tried to push him. Grabbing his arms, tried to pull him but he pushed her away making her land on the bed with a loud grunt.

Zardoz: You! Disrespectful! Brat!

He slapped Savvianah even more hard making her cry out loudly in pain. Cynthia tried to run towards him to try to stop him but Rheyna grabbed her and place her in bed. Running back to Zardoz and tried to stop him from hurting her.

Rheyna: Stop it! She's just a child!

She tried to stop him. But Zardoz kept on pulling her hair, slamming her everywhere across the room. Savvianah felt her body fell intense pain. Rheyna grabbed a small candle holder and slam it on his head making him yelp in pain and let Savvianah go. Savvianah fell down on the ground with a loud cry. Rheyna rushed towards her and pulled her up to her feet and guide her to the bed. Zardoz felt something wet on his fingers and he turned to look at it and saw blood. Zardoz breathed heavily and looked at her with pure anger. Striding towards them and grabbing a fistful of her hair and punching her face. Making her fall to the ground. Making her cry in pain. Savvianah screamed in surprise and ran up to her. Rheyna saw that he was about to hit her, how Savvianah was on the way so she did what she thought to do and hugged her tight and used herself as shield to protect them both from his strong and hurtful punch. Once his fist landed on her back, she yelped in pain. Zardoz kept hitting her without mercy. Not caring is she was a pregnant woman.

Zardoz: You damn imbecile! Pathetic woman! I warned you to be nice! But you are just like Felix! Tried to be strong when you know that you are a weak, pathetic waste!

He kept hitting her. Punching her. Kicking her back. Pulling her hair. Cynthia was crying loudly. Watching the horrible sight. Zardoz finally stopped himself from hitting her. Breathing heavily and composing himself.

Zardoz: Whoo! Now! That was a good lesson wasn't it? *Chuckles* Serves you both right. I told you, to be nice to me. I warned you, that i don't play nice. But you didn't listen. Now this is what you get. This is what you all get, disobey me, disrespect me, despise me, you'll receive very bad punishments. Not just for you. But for all of you. I'm just starting my ways here. *Chuckles* I'm just beginning to start a new chaos. Now that Felix is dead! Nobody else can stop me. Nor get in my ear. Whether it's you or anybody. No one can stop me. Ever!

He said. The three girls just continued to cry.

Zardoz: Tch. Pathetic.

He said and walked away.

Savvianah: *Sniffles* My Queen...are you okay?

Rheyna: *Hisses in pain* Ah! I'm okay. I'm okay darling.

Cynthia ran up to them and hugged Rheyna. Crying loudly. Rheyna hugged them both tight and nuzzled their faces in her shoulders. Rocking them back and forth. They wish they could just run away from this place.
