Everyone was silent. The whole world was. Nobody dared to say a single thing. The painful fight they had just watched hurt them. Especially for Rheyna and Valinrina. They had just returned to Nyland. Rheyna was laying on the bed, crying her eyes out. She was crying every since she got back. She heard the door open so she looked at the door and it turns out it was the man she despised the most.

Zardoz: Crying won't bring him back my dear.

Rheyna: You killed him. You monster!

Zardoz: Watch it now....you don't wanna anger me. Just because you are a woman and pregnant, won't stop me from hurting you.

Rheyna: Then just kill me!

Zardoz: Ahh that wouldn't be fun now would it?

He said and approached the bed and sat down on the bed.

Zardoz: I just don't get it. How could you fall in love with a man who hurt you and despised you all his life? All those hurtful acts and insults, you still fell in love with him.

Rheyna: He realized he was wrong. He finally realized that I didn't kill Zeke. All my life I was honest with him. I stayed loyal because I love him.

Zardoz: Ahh the thing is love doesn't last long with the wrong person now right?

Rheyna: *Scoffs* Do you expect me to fall in love with you? *Chuckles* Keep dreaming. Because I will never fall in love with you! I'd rather die than be with you!

Zardoz: Watch your tone Rheyna....

Rheyna: Screw you.

She yelped in pain when she felt her cheek sting. The sharp and loud sound of a hard slap was heard. She touched her cheek and she felt it stinging.

Zardoz: Watch who you're talking to Rheyna. Felix is not here to protect you anymore. For now I am your new King and I am your husband! Treat me with respect or it's you and the baby who will be hurt.

She felt cold when she heard him say that. She covered her belly using her hands. As if trying to protect it. She was softly crying.

Zardoz: Shh now dear. I would never hurt you. Unless you want me to.

Zardoz crawled near her, she tried to back away but her back hit the headboard. He crawled even near her. And now they were only inches away from each other.

Zardoz: You are such a beautiful woman. And I pretty much think that a beautiful lady like you, belongs to a man like me.

Rheyna: Never....

Zardoz: I will make you swallow that someday.

Rheyna: Make me. I will mark on my words that I will never love you. Hurt me all you want, but you don't deserve to be loved after all of the bad things you've done. No one will forgive you for your unforgivable sins. Curse you Zardoz. You will never be loved.

Zardoz held her neck tightly. And brought her face closer.

Zardoz: Just make sure you don't regret your words.

He let her neck go and she coughed. Holding her neck. Zardoz stood up and fixed his clothes.

Zardoz: Now! As much as I would like to stay here with you, I have other things to do. Excuse me my love.

She didn't respond. So he just left. Rheyna sobbed and fell down on the bed. Wishing she had Felix to comfort her. But unfortunately...that isn't going to happen anymore.

(Draken's POV)

Devastated. Broken. Upset. Angry. Torn apart. You name it. Draken didn't know what to feel. He allowed the darkness grab him. As he was silently sitting in the dark quietly. He remembered all those memories he had with Felix. His best friend. The person who was with him through all his hard years. His brother that was with him and helped him stand. And yet he failed to protect him. All his life, he vowed to himself that no matter what happens he will protect him. At all costs. Even if that means putting his life at risk. But he didn't even do anything when Felix was slowly dying. He remembered everything. So their precious moments together.

(Flashback)

Young Draken was struggling to carry the sack of heavy potatoes. He couldn't carry them without falling down. The people saw him but didn't do anything and just kept walking. Some were pitying him. Some were laughing at him. Some didn't care. He felt embarrassed and humiliated but he has no choice. He has to carry eight sack of heavy potatoes in exchange of leftover food. He couldn't do anything but swallow the painful reality that he wasn't going anywhere. He couldn't stop the tears threatening to fall. But this is all he could do to have something in his stomach. He carried the sack of potatoes and he tripped down on the ground. He hissed when he felt his knees scratch against the hard ground. He heard giggling behind him. He clenched his fists tightly and shut his eyes to stop the tears. He took a deep breath and stood up, ignoring his wound on his knee. Tried to carry the sack of potatoes again. He has to suck it up.

(Minutes later)

The kids that were working just like him was finally getting paid. Giving them bags of coins. The children jumped in joy. Draken however did not receive anything. So he only lowered his head and walked away. He wasn't surprised about this kind of behavior of them. He was always seen as a bother to others. Draken felt hopeless. He sat down somewhere in the corner and just pulled his legs up to his chest and lay his head on his knees. His fingers paying with the hem of his clothes.

Man: Make way! Make way for the King!

Draken heard. He stood up and ran to where the crowds was. He pushed in and that's when he saw the Prince. Sitting on his horse, looking so beautiful and handsome as ever. Looking so ethereal.

Man: Move out of the way kid!

An old man yelled and pushed Draken out of the way. Draken yelped in pain, and landed on the ground. His yelp caught young Felix's attention. Prince Felix saw Draken on the ground. Nobody even tried to help him. Felix shook his head in disappointment and got off his horse.

Arthur: Son where are you going?

Felix: Just a minute father.

Felix approached Draken who was on the ground. Felix took out his hand and Draken looked at him confused.

Felix: Take my hand.

He said. Draken looked at Felix's hand then placed his hand on top of it. Felix pulled him up and Draken brushed the dust off his clothes. Draken then bowed deeply, Felix waved his hand and placed a hand on his shoulder. Draken looked surprised and confused.

Felix: What's your name?

Draken: Draken. Draken Stroud.

Felix: Draken Stroud. Such a unique name.

Draken bowed. Nervously fiddling with his fingers.

Felix: Father.

Arthur: Son?

Felix: Can we pick him?

Arthur: To train for us?

Felix: Yes.

Arthur: He's still a child Felix. We're looking for someone older than this boy.

Felix: My heart is telling me to take him. We shouldn't judge someone by their looks right? Plus, my mind is telling me that he might be worth it.

Arthur signed softly. But then proceeded to nod. Felix looked at Draken who had his head lowered.

Felix: So? Do you wanna come with me?

Draken looked shocked and surprised. That's understandable. To say that Draken was about to jump in pure happiness. He fought it and just stood still. But Felix could see that he was smiling so brightly. Making Felix smile softly too.

(5 years later)

Felix watched at how the new young soldiers were training. They were learning how to hold a bow and arrow. And how to aim perfectly. Felix saw that Draken was struggling. Felix signed softly and approached him.

Felix: After years of training archery is not your thing I'm guessing?

Draken: It's difficult to hold. It's hard.

Felix laughed softly and took the bow and arrow from his hands and he used it instead.

Felix: Archery is not that hard. But it does require respect and discipline for you to do it and shoot the arrow straight on the target.

He said and stretched the string and let the arrow go and strike the apple.

Felix: See? Not so hard right? You try.

Draken took the bow from his hands and took an arrow and stretched the string and intensely stared at the target. Felix went behind him.

Felix: Your feet should be a little bit apart. Back straight.

Draken did what he was instructed.

Felix: Eyes staring straight at the target not anywhere else.

He held his chin and lifted it a little bit upwards.

Felix: Now shoot.

Draken let go of the string, and the arrow struck the apple straight away. Felix walked up to the apple and grabbed the arrow that was stuck in the apple and examined it. He chuckled. Amused and glad.

Felix: Now would you look at that?

Felix showed the arrow. Draken looked shocked. Draken smiled happily.

Felix: It requires a lot of practice. And soon you'll be happy with the results. Hardwork will never betray you.

He said and patted his head.

Felix: Keep the work up. You still have a long journey.

Draken nodded encouragingly. He smiled softly at Felix. Who smiled back. Draken still has a long way to go. He knows that. And he's not gonna give up. No matter what it takes.

(Months later)

Draken right now is having a sparring with one of his fellow trainees. Draken fought back at him, using all his fighting skills Felix taught him. Draken held the trainee's wrist that was holding the dagger. Draken kicked his thigh that made him lose balance and he got behind him and twisted his arm, but not so hard. Just enough to make him drop the dagger.

Guard: That's enough!

The other kids clapped their hands. Draken let him go and the boy signed and sulked. Draken signed softly and held out his hand. The boy looked at him, Draken held out his hand, the boy looked at his hand before grabbing it. Draken helped him stand up. Patting his shoulders.

Draken: You did good.

Boy: Thanks. You too.

The boy smiled and clapped his hands. Draken bowed his head. He looked at Felix who was watching with a smile. Draken smiled at him, which Felix returned and Felix bowed his head slightly. Draken smiled brightly. Draken looked back at his fellow trainees. Lifting his arms up in the air, the trainees cheered happily and loudly. Draken never felt so happy with his home.

(1 year later)

Draken by now was a grown up teenager. Now they were being taught of how to hold a sword. Following the man's movements in front of them all. Felix watched from afar. Draken looked so concentrated. Making Felix smile softly. Finally he's growing up. Now nighttime has arrived. Draken was the only one outside, still learning the sword skills. He didn't bother the cold wind since it was now snowing. He felt tired and he fell down on the ground on his knees. Panting heavily. He heard footsteps in front of him and two shoes showed up. He looked up and saw Felix.

Felix: It's night. You should be resting.

Draken: I couldn't sleep. I wanted to train more.

Felix: Come on. Stand up.

He held out his hand and Draken took his hand and stood up. Felix took the sword and gave it to him. Draken took it. Felix walked up to the swords were kept. And took one. He walked back to Draken and stared him. Getting into his fighting stance.

Felix: Come at me.

Draken looked confused. But nonetheless, he got into his fighting stance and prepared himself. Draken charged at him and they both had a sword fight. Felix easily blocked his attack and kicked his back making Draken fall down on the ground. Draken grunted in pain.

Felix: Stand up. If you were in a true battle you would probably have been stabbed by now.

Draken stood up quickly. Facing Felix and getting into his fighting stance. This is gonna be a long night.

(Flashback ends)

Draken closed his eyes and let the tears fall. Clenching hard on his fists. He cried silently in the dark.

???: Crying won't bring him back. Don't waste any more tears. It's a waste.

Draken: Have you come here to pity me Zach?

Zach: Not in that way. I'm only telling you to stop crying. Because even if you cry blood, he is not coming back.

Draken: Because of your leader.

Zach: You mean 'King'. Don't forget, he is our new King.

Draken: Your King. Because never once in a million years, I will never accept him as my King.

Zach: I'm gonna tell him that you said that.

Draken: You think I'm scared? I'm not scared. He can kill me if he wants to, but I will never accept him. Never.

Zach: Talk all you want Draken, you don't have a choice anyway.

Draken: Get out. I don't wanna see your face.

Zach: Oof, ouch. But if that's what you want then I'll go. I shouldn't be wasting my time on a lonely crying man anyway.

He mocked. Draken stopped himself from killing Zach. He just signed heavily and leaned back to the wall. Devastated.

(Author's POV)

Everyone was broken. They couldn't utter a single word. The whole world couldn't. The world was silent. As if it was sympathizing his death. They felt pain and anguish. Valinrina couldn't believe it. Her husband was taken away. Now it was Felix. Her son. Her baby boy that she raised. She cried loudly and hugged a pillow. Feeling completely lonely. Rheyna however was absolutely broken. She was silent. She couldn't sleep. She didn't feel hungry. Nothing. As if her soul completely just left her body. Everybody cried their hearts out. They didn't even noticed that it was already nighttime and they were still crying over Felix's death. Well, I won't blame them. He was a good man. Just like his father. A comforting, gentle, loving, brave, inspirational man in the whole world. In their opinion, they were lucky to have him as a King. Because they were free to do everything they wanted to do without feeling scared or anything. But I guess that took a turn. Felix is dead. He's gone. Felix Ackerman. He was more than just a King. A great warrior. Hero to all people. But it's just such a shame that he had to leave so early. They didn't even bid their proper goodbyes. This was because of Zardoz.

That selfish, pathetic, murderer, killer, broken bastard. They could never forgive him. He did all unforgivable sins. He killed multiple people. Just to prove that he is a strong person.

Rheyna hated him. With all her damn guts. She wished she could kill him. But it's risky. Especially when she's carrying their precious baby. She can't risk it. She wished he was never born. What happened to him anyway? Zardoz wasn't this such a monster before. Sure he was rude but he was never this cruel. Well, I guess people change. She signed heavily and closed her eyes to sleep. For the first time, she was laying in the same bed but it feels a little bit bigger now. She was sleeping without her husband's warmth to warm her up when she's cold. No big arms to hug her from behind or cuddle with her. No more soft kisses when she wakes up in the morning. Her husband is gone. He's dead. He's never coming back. She felt cold. Even though the blanket was wrapped around her, it wasn't enough. She wanted his warmth. His own warmness to warm her up. His warmth always helped her sleep better. But now, guess it's complicated. She's tired. So she just closed her eyes to sleep. Sleep with a sorrowful heart. Sleep with anguish around her. It wasn't Felix's warmth that was around her, it was the darkness' cold.

Coldness to remind her that he is gone. That's what kills her.

'Felix...why did you have to leave me?'

She thought sadly. She gripped the blanket tighter and just closed her eyes. Sleeping without him.

(Meanwhile)

Silent night. All silent. The cold breeze of wind was blowing. Leaves of trees brushing against each other creating a soft sound. But overall, it was all quiet. Nothing was heard except the cold sound of the wind. And maybe also an owl hooting. Two people were walking, huffing softly. Grabbing some sticks.

Woman: Gosh my back is hurting.

Man: A little longer my dear, we just have to fill up the bucket of sticks then we'll head back home.

The man continued to pick up some small branches, some sticks. Grunting while picking some sticks up.

Man: Ah there we go. Whoo! That was not so bad right?

Woman: Luther?

Luther: Yeah yeah I know we're going home. Let me just...ah there we go.

Woman: Luther....

Luther: There! Now let's go home. Let me carry those for you.

Woman: Luther!

Luther: What?

Woman: Look.

She pointed somewhere. He looked at the direction she was pointing at.

Luther: Is that...a-a body?

Woman: I don't know... Let's go check-

Luther: No we can't! It might be an outsider!

Woman: We can never tell! It looks the person needs help. C'mon!

Luther: No wait! Elizabeth! Elizabeth!

The woman Elizabeth ran up to the person laying on the cold snowy ground. She slowly approached him, with small steps. Crouching down and shook his body.

Elizabeth: Hello? Are you okay?

She shook the person's body but it was no use. She moved the body and made it lay on the it's back. And she gasped at what she saw. Luther ran up to her panting heavily.

Luther: Gosh you...wait, who is that?

Elizabeth: It's him...

Luther: Really? Let me see. It is him.

Elizabeth: What are we gonna do?

Luther: Leave?

Elizabeth: No you moron we can't just leave a poor person out here to die!

Luther: Well what are we gonna do?

Elizabeth: Maybe we should take her to Vanessa?

Luther: Vanessa? Yeah yeah yeah that uhh that-that sounds like a great plan.

Elizabeth: Okay carry him.

Luther: What?

Elizabeth: Carry him. Obviously i can't carry that big guy I'm a woman! I'm just carry these buckets. You carry him up.

Luther didn't even get the chance to respond because she took off running to grab the buckets of sticks. Luther groaned in annoyance. He has no choice. He carried the body with a loud grunt.

Luther: I'm gonna have abs because of this.

Elizabeth: Luther! Hurry up!

Luther: Yeah yeah I'm coming!

He started to walk. He signed heavily and they both began to walk.

(Some hours later)

Elizabeth busted the door open and he entered and put his body down on the bed.

Elizabeth: I'll look for Vanessa. Take off his armor. Wipe him.

He nodded and she took off running upstairs to look for Vanessa. Luther proceeded to remove his armor. That's when he saw two stab wounds on his stomach. Luther signed heavily. Boy this is gonna be a long night.

(Author's POV)

He opened his eyes. Sighing heavily. The sound of their horses walking. Stomping against the snowy ground.

Arthur: Son.

Felix looked at his father.

Arthur: Are you alright?

Felix: Yes father.

Arthur: Good. We're almost there.

Felix nodded. They were in a war against a Kingdom that wanted to invade Lazica. Kingdom of Navvanah wanted to invade Lazica because Lazica was rich in gold and diamond. Navvanah wanted to steal all those precious diamonds and gold from Lazica but unfortunately for that Kingdom, Lazica refused. Then they ended up having a war. Felix signed heavily and looked ahead. Then he saw
