After I left Caro's house, I went to my apartment to pack my clothes for tomorrow and head to Pedri's.

As soon as I got to his apartment, I parked my car and headed towards his door. I knocked, waiting for an answer. I knocked again, but nothing.

As I was about to turn around and head back to my car, the door flies opened, revealing a very amused Pedri. 'You should've seen your face.' he said laughing.

'Was that funny to you?' I asked, my eyebrows frowned. 'Seriously?' my expression was blank.

'Woah, Irina, I'm just kidding.' he said, his expression an apologetic one, trying to grab my arm. 'I'm sorry, I di—'

'You should've seen your face, asshole.' I started laughing, his face relaxing, his usual smile appearing on his face.

'You got me there.' he said grabbing my arm and dragging me inside. 'And what the hell is that?' he said pointing at my bag, laughing.

'I, erm...' embarrassment took over, as I didn't even let him know about my plan to stay over at his place. 'Well, I went home and grabbed some clothes because I thought I could crash here since we're going to the same place tomorrow.' I rushed through my words, my cheeks heating up. 'I'm sorry, I should've asked before.'

'I don't get why you don't leave some stuff of yours here.' he said smiling. 'No kidding. I'm serious.' he said raising his hands in defence. 'There's nothing wrong with friends having clothes at eachother's houses.' he said quietly, our faces inches apart.

'Indeed.' I smiled and gently pushed him away from me.

After talking about my day with Davi and what happened in the morning at the training centre, Pedri went and grabbed a black hoodie, putting it on.

'What now?' I smiled.

'I'm trying to match you.' he said pointing at me.

I was wearing a pair of black joggers and a black hoodie, my hair up in a ponytail. Before grabbing his black hoodie, Pedri was also wearing a black pair of joggers and a brown t-shirt. But now we were completely matching.

'I was going to change.' I laughed.

'Too late. We're going out.' he said grabbing my arm and leading me out the apartment.

'No car today?' I asked as soon as we got outside.

'Nope.' he shook his head smiling.

We were making small talk, until Pedri went completely silent, stopping in front of a florist's. This was probably the biggest flower shop I have ever seen, and it was still opened, the time being 22:50pm.

'Are we just going to stare at it?' I asked chuckling.

'No, we're going in.' he smiled, grabbing my hand.

There were 9 isles, each isle full of different flowers, the smells mixing into one big fragrance.

'This place is huge.' I said shocked. 'Have you been here before?' I asked him.

'No.' he shook his head, taking us through the end isle towards the garden section. 'I never had a reason to.' he winked at me, making me roll my eyes while chuckling.

'Okay, that's nice.' I said mockingly. 'What are we even looking for?'

'What's your favourite flower?' he asked, pulling me into the isle because I walked past him.

'Tulips.' I answered.

'Then that's what we're looking for.' he said abruptly stopping, my body bumping into his.

'What the—'

'And we found them.' he leaned down and picked up two small bouquets of tulips. He handed me one, while he kept one.

'Thanks.' I smiled, patting my pockets to realise that I had no money on me. 'Shit.' I mumbled, handing him back the tulips and aggressively searching through my pockets.

'Is this one of your episodes I should've known about?' he asked laughing, making me give him a death glare and trying to hit him, but he caught my hand and put it down as an older woman walked by.

'Teenage couples.' she mumbled under her breath, before walking further down the isle.

We aren't a couple.

'Why would she think we're a couple?' I whispered yelled, patting around my body.

'I don't know, Irina, do you want me to go ask her?' he asked, stopping my hands from patting further down my body. 'You don't have any money on you, do you?'

'No.' I said, taking one bouquet of tulips from him and placing it back on the shelf.

'Neither do I.' he spoke, taking back the bouquet of tulips from the shelf.

'Yeah, so put them back.' I said sternly. 'I doubt that lovely lady is going to buy them for us.' I chuckled.

'Let's steal them.' Pedri spoke into my ear, his hot breath lingering against my ear. 'We're even dressed for the occasion.' he smirked.

'Do you want to get arrested?!' I asked confused. 'You willingly want to do something illegal?!'

'It's only illegal if we get caught.' he said quietly, his lips were inches away from mine.

'You're insane.' I whispered.

He's too close to me.

I watched as his grin spread across his face, grabbing my wrist and pulling me throughout the isles until we reached the employees door. As soon as I began to reach for the handle, a male voice called out to me, telling us we couldn't go in there since it's for employees only.

It quite clearly said it on the sign too.

Pedri and I looked at eachother, before smirking and running through the door anyway. People called out, saying that two teenagers were running through the isles in the room. Picking up the pace and running faster, Pedri's eyes landed on a door on the far left.

A janitor's closet.

We ran in there, my back pressed against Pedri, I heard him groan as he held me into place, both his hands being on my hips. My heart was beating erratically, while my breathing was haltered. I haven't ran that fast since secondary school.

And that was 7 fucking years ago.

'You're breathing really heavy.' he chuckled quietly. 'They can probably hear you from outside.'

'Yeah, sorry I don't have a 90 pace.' I whispered yelled, giving him a death stare. 'You should've thought about that before running got involved.' I said, making him chuckle quietly, planting a kiss on my head.

A gesture so simple, yet so beautiful.

After my breathing returned to normal, and there was no sound from any employees lurking outside, Pedri slowly opened the door. 'Run out.' he took my hand into his, rushing through the isles filled with boxes.

There were no employees in sight, both of us laughing as we ran past piles upon piles of boxes. We finally reached the door that led outside, opening it and feeling the cold air hitting our faces.

'Did we really just do that?' I laughed, letting out a sigh as we hid under a small archway nook.

'We really did.' he laughed, a smile stretched across his face.

This one was different from his usual laughs and chuckles. It was a genuine laugh. A laugh full of joy and adventure. His head hit the wall behind him, his neck on full show to me.

'Holy shit.' I mumbled to myself, softly chuckling.

'Naked truth?' he said straightening his head, his eyes finding mine.

'Naked truth.' I nodded my head.

'I never done something like this before.' he smiled. 'But I gotta admit... it was pretty fun.'

'Who would've thought.' I chuckled.

Pedri stepped away from the wall and threw his arm over my shoulders, both of us still smiling and chuckling while walking away from the place we just 'robbed'.

'Why tulips?' he asked as we were walking.

'Because the tulip is the queen of all bulbs. It goes from a small bud to a beautiful, colourful bloom overnight. They grow in almost every colour and colour combination you can think of. Because they're so simple, yet so magical and elegant.' I smiled. 'Don't tell me you thought I was a rose girl.'

He chuckled. 'No.' he shook his head. 'That's would've been too basic for you.'
