Stepping into the parking lot, I started to scan for Luca's car. But my eyes stopped on a car that looked very similar to my old one.

'Oh my God.' I chuckled. 'That looks just like my car.' I shook my head. 'Even the pl—' I stopped in my tracks and grabbed Luca. 'Why is there a car who looks exactly like mine and has the exact same plate numbers?' I asked confused.

'Because it is your car.' he smiled.

'What?! Who the hell did you give my car to?!' I asked annoyed.

'You did leave the keys in my post box.' he took the keys out of his pocket. 'So I decided to keep it.' he shrugged his shoulders.

'You kept my car?' I asked surprised, stopping him from getting in it.

'Yes?' his expression was a confused one.

'Why? You loved your car.'

'But I love you more.' he said pushing me out the way and climbing into the car.

'Weird.' I said rolling my eyes.

I quickly ran to the other side and climbed inside, the same smell of lavender hitting my nostrils. I started touching the dashboard, closing my eyes and taking in the reunion with my baby.

'You don't have to do that with me.' Luca said sternly.

'What are you talking about?' I quickly opened my eyes to look at him.

'The weird.' he said laughing. 'I know you think it's actually sweet and meaningful and cute.' he said mockingly, coming closer to me with every word.

'In fact I don't.' I said with a serious look on my face. 'Personal space.' I said pushing him away, making him chuckle.

He started the car and drove off, my head resting on the window, a smile creeping on my face.

In fact, I did find it sweet and meaningful and cute. But I don't want his head to get bigger than it already is.

After parking the car and climbing out of it, I realised Pierre's café was closed.

'What's up with that?' I asked.

'He packed his bags and went to Italy.' Luca smiled.

'What?' I asked shocked. 'He loved Paris.'

'Oh, he's going to be back.' he chuckled. 'But that italian boy really caught his eye.'

'Oh my God.' I chuckled.

Going up the stairs I couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness taking over me. This place was my home for so long and now I was just a guest.

'How are your new neighbors?' I asked glancing at my old apartment.

'No one moved in.'

'Oh, why?' I asked surprised, as Luca was looking for his apartment keys.

'Kylian bought the place.' he shrugged his shoulders, letting out a sigh of relief as soon as he found the keys.

'Oh my, you guys are neighbors now?' I laughed. 'What was wrong with his apartment?'

'There was nothing wrong with his apartment.' he laughed. 'He bought this one in case you ever decided to come home.'

We walked into his apartment, a gobsmacked expression on my face.

HE DID WHAT?!

'He did what?!'

'Irina.' Luca said turning around to face me, a serious look on his face. 'You left and we had nothing. So I kept your car and he bought your apartment.' he smiled softly. 'We wanted a reminder of you, something we'll keep forever.'

I said couldn't say anything, all I wanted to do was burst into tears.

Sweet and meaningful and cute.

'We don't really go into your apartment.' he continued. 'Unless we need to cry.' he rolled his eyes playfully.

'You guys cry in my apartment?' I laughed.

'Shut up.' Luca hit me playfully and went into his room to change.
