" Mihrimah Sultana wants to talk to you in her chambers right now!" Sumbul Aga said to me as I was leaving Selim's chambers because he had state jobs with his father.

I walked to Mihrimah Sultana's chambers. I had known nothing about her except that she was only daughter of Sultan Suleyman and Hurrem Sultana, which I haven't left good impression on.

" So you are Alexandra whole Harem is talking about?" Mihrimah asked me as she measured me from head to toe. She was very beautiful Sultana, and she was really similiar to her mother.

I nodded her with my head because Sumbul stirctly explained to me that I shouldn't talk until she allows me to do it.

" I see my brother is really interested in you, you know that you will get new enemy now? Nurbanu." Mihrimah said to me like she is going to teach me something.

" I already met Nurbanu and she said to me first time she is Şehzade's wife and mother of his son. She threated me to never retun to those chambers." I said to Mihrimah.

" That is what she always does. She will try to do whatever is needed to get rid of you, and she is usually very successful in that, so you will need a lot of Selim's love and you will have to use your intelligence in Harem. Otherwise you will go away very soon." Mihrimah said to me and smiled.

"  You shouldn't worry, Sultana. There is no person that is born that could do something to me that I would be afraid of it. I am not afraid of anything." I said to her and smiled.

" That's good. I hope it will stay like this, because that snake Nurbanu will try to sabotage you as quickly as soon." Mihrimah said and she seemed pretty upset at mention of Nurbanu.

" You don't like her?" I asked her directly and I could see that she was quite shocked I am asking her so directly.

" I don't. She rules over Selim however she wants. Whatever she wants, Selim would give to her. That is why everyone is shocked he was so crazy for you, because since Nurbanu came no other girls went to him. You must have something special." Mihrimah said and smiled to me.

After I left Mihrimah Sultan's chambers, Sumbul informed me that Hurrem Sultana wants to see me. I already left bad impact for her on our first meeting so I wondered what was her plan.

Sumbul took me to Gardens where Hurrem Sultana was sitting in her tent and she measured me while I was coming towards her. I bowed to her as I knew there is no way to run away from here anymore when I became Selim's favourite.

" So my lion didn't listen to my orders because of you." Hurrem Sultana looked at me as she measured me. I had nothing to answer her as I didn't need even more bad relations.

" You won't think you are special here just because he saved you. He found it propriate that way. You shouldn't think you are powerful now." Hurrem said to me seriously.

" I wouldn't..." I started to say something but Hurrem signalised me with her hand to shut up.

" Know your place and don't interrupt me while I am speaking." Hurrem yelled on me.

" Sumbul, you will teach her rules of Harem properly. She will learn how to respect everyone, if she does something bad, you can punish her. I allow you that." Hurrem said to her servant Sumbul Aga who bowed to her.

" And don't think you will go to Selim many more times. Maybe once or twice, but he will lose interest in you. You are here just to satisfy him and nothing else." Hurrem said to me coldly.

" He won't lose interest in me." I said to her as I was sure how to keep a man to myself.

" You can only dream about that." Hurrem said and laughed at my words.

" Sumbul take her to Harem and let her clean the whole Harem, to learn that she is no one here. What she spent night with a Prince means nothing. She is still ordinary concubine." Hurrem said with a smirk.

Hurrem nodded and Sumbul came and took me back into Harem where he prepared a lot of work to do to me.

" You see this, you will clean all of this. Hurrem Sultana wants the floor to shine. You will do it all alone." Sumbul said to me and I could see he was actually sorry for me that I had to do it, but he had no other things.

I turned around and saw all of the girls laughing when Sumbul ordered me to do it.

In front of me stood large barrels of water and rags with which I was to wash the whole Harem. All the girls stood around me and made fun of me and called me ugly nicknames.

I was standing there and I didn’t even want to move. But Sumbul started yelling at me. I knelt on the floor and picked up a rag and started wiping the floor in the Harem while everyone made fun of me.

" She thought she will be someone now because she slept with Şehzade Selim, but look at her. She has to clean." concubine named Abyige said and laughed while I was cleaning.

Sumbul looked at them sideways and tried to keep them away from me, but they didn't want to move.

I polished the floor to make it shine and so that Hurrem Sultan would have no more reason for her behavior, because this time I didn’t say or do anything wrong to her.

I got to the middle of the Harem and did my best to do it right this time, just out of spite to prove I could.

"Look at her, you will forever remain a cleaner in this Harem. If the Prince saw you like this, he would never look at you again." Aybige said and the whole Harem laughed at her words.

I was silent and could barely keep my words to myself, I had so much desire to quarrel with her, but this time I relented.

At that moment, Aybige came and kicked a bucket of water that had spilled all over the Harem. All my efforts were ruined by what she did.

I tossed the cloth aside and stood up. I came next to her, and I was ready to bang her at that moment.

" Listen to me Aybige, I cleaned this all, and now you did this mess. You will clean this, I won't." I started yelling at her.

Aybige just turned to girls who were standing behind her and they all started laughing in my face.

" I will never clean that, I am not cleaner like you are. You will clean this all." Aybige said and pushed me that I slipped on the wet floor and fell down.

" What is all this?" I heard familiar voice coming and I saw everyone bowing there.

My back hurted me so much that I couldn't stand up on my legs without anyone's help. At that moment I saw Selim walking towards me and looked at me worriedly.

" Alexandra, what happened to you?" Selim asked me worriedly has he gave me his hand to help me to stand up.

" She fell down while she was cleaning, Your Majesty." Aybige started lying. I just looked at her with anger and I could explode on her at any moment.

" Alexandra, why did you clean this? My favourites don't do those jobs around the Harem." Selim said as he putted his hand on my arm.

" Hurrem Sultana made me do it." I said to him and looked at another way trying not to look at him.

" Sumbul, I told you already so many times, but you never stop. Why do you listen to orders of my mother? How can my favourite do things like these? I ordered you to move her into favourite's wing, not to do this." Selim yelled and Sumbul and I saw everyone is afraid of him.

" Şehzade, I am sorry... I didn't know that..." Sumbul tried to make up a story, but Selim didn't care for this.

" Alexandra is my favourite and I don't want any of you to treat her this way. I will fight you all if you dare to do this once again." Selim said and looked at whole Harem who bowed to him.
