i woke up without noahs arms around me and grew confused. i got up as fast as i can and realized i was in my old room, and then i remembered yesterday's events. i got up and brush my teeth, looking in the mirror and seeing my eyes are so swollen from crying so much

as i finished my morning routine, i heard my phone ringing. it was noah

i smiled at the messages and turned off my phone. i changed into a random outfit and waited in the front room for my mom and brother to come down so we can go to the hospital.

"have u ate" my mom asked

"too focus on dad" i said grabbing my keys and heading out to get the car started. after about 5 mins my brother and mom walk out and get in the car.

we arrived to the hospital after a car ride with complete silence. after talking to the lady at the front desk, we started looking for Room 101, my dads room.

We found his room but no one had the courage to walk in. it took us all 10 mins before i had walked in first. What laid in front of me was so heartbreaking. My dad in a hospital bed, on life support, not being able to breathe on his own. i truly felt every ache in my body as i looked at him.

"hi dad" i say grabbing his hand and putting in mine, "i'm home and i miss you so much. i cant wait till you come back home and we watch movies and laugh for endless hours" i said sobbing a bit towards the end as i felt tears coming down my face

i stepped outside because i was a MESS. plus my brother and mom wanted to talk to my dad as well. i decided to call noah and after two rings, he picked up

"hi baby" he said, i smiled at the sound of his voice

"hi love, i just wanted to call you to lyk i'm okay" i said sobbing a little

"okay, how's everything going?" he asked

"it's okay. we're at the hospital rn and i just spoke to him. it's so weird seeing him in that condition tho" i said in all honesty

"at least you're with him babe" noah said and i could tell he was distracted

"are you busy rn??" i asked not wanting to be bothering him

"no no no i was in a middle of a photo shoot but you're way more important rn" he said and i could tell he
smiled at the end

"go do your shoot, i'll call you later. i love you" i said as my mom walked out and nodded me to come
back inside

"i love you too baby, forever" noah said

"forever" i smiled and hung up.

the rest of the day just consisted of us at the hospital waiting for any updates on my dad.
