After entering Sasuke's portal, Y/N breathed in the air of the village. It was good to be home. "Momma, who's this crazy lady?" Ko muttered, pulling her sweater as Karin started yelling at Suigetsu. Y/N laughed as Karin looked back at her, her eyes narrowed.

"I'm not crazy." Karin sputtered. Y/N chuckled as Nagi pulled on Ko, warning her to be quiet. "Do I look crazy to you?" Karin asked Y/N.  Y/N smiled, shrugging.

"You've always been my crazy girl." Y/N flirted with her, giving her a wink. Karin gave her an incredulous look, blushing hard.

"Oh my god, still the same old Y/N. Sasuke come and get your girlfriend." Karin rolled her eyes, looking away from Y/N to stand behind Suigetsu. Y/N grinned at her.

"Still the hot girl you were years ago." Y/N smiled. Sasuke chuckled, rubbing Y/N's hand. "I'm just teasing her. I love getting Karin riled up."

Karin's face flared red, the girl sighing loudly. "This is why I just want to beat you sometimes." Karin reared her fist at her. "Who are all these kids?" Karin looked down at all of them clutching onto Sasuke's cloak. "You two have been busy?" She said, looking Nagi in the face. Nagi laughed.

"No, he has a wife Karin." Y/N looked at her with a smirk. "You're my girl always." She reiterated, making Karin sputter.

"This one's mine, and Y/N adopted the rest, and they like to call me their father." Sasuke explained, pointing to Sarada. Karin smiled at Sarada.

"Oh yeah, I helped deliver you a little one. Where's Sakura, why isn't she here?" Karin asked. Y/N shrugged.

"I didn't realize I have to be babysat all the time. I'm my own person." Sasuke shrugged. Suigetsu chuckled.

"No ones saying that man. Man you guys have changed." Suigetsu chuckled, looking at all the kids. "I expected you two to get married based on how Sasuke always blocked anyone that even wanted to talk to you." Suigetsu said to her. Y/N laughed.

"He did not." She laughed. "Guys these are my friends. Sasuke and I were a team." She explained with a smile. Masaru looked up at Juugo, who offered an awkward smile.

"Why is he standing away from everyone?" Masaru asked. Y/N gave a sad smile.

"Juugo just wants to keep everyone safe. He has these impulses where he can't always control his jutsu." Y/N explained.

"I was a monster, I still am sometimes." Juugo explained.

The kids blinked. "COOL!" They exploded.

"Not cool!" Suigetsu chuckled. "He's killed multiple-!"

"Can you show us? Please, please!" Ko squealed, jumping up and down excitedly as looked at Juugo with starry eyes.

"What can you do?" Nagi looked up at Suigetsu. Suigetsu smirked.

"Oh shit, here we go. I swear I just saw his head grow three sizes too big." Y/N sighed. Sasuke chuckled, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

"Don't look at that big dobe, I'm the real monster here." Suigetsu heroically said. The kids watched as he turned his limbs into water one by one. Jataro mumbled in awe, watching as Suigetsue turned into a puddle.

"Cool! That means he can pee wherever he wants and no one would know! Wait, will you still smell like pee?" Jataro asked, making Y/N almost throw up.

"I don't know kid." Suigetsu snickered. "I've never tried."

"Do it! Do it right here, right now!" Jataro jumped up and down, trying to urge him. "Imagine a waterfall flowing and it sprinkles right through the cracks-!"

"There's women here." Sasuke looked at Jataro sternly. Nagi looked at Karin with his head tilted. He was curious.

"What do you do Aunt Karin?" Nagi asked sweetly.

"Aunt?!" Karin shrieked, looking at Y/N. Y/N nodded, a warm smile on her face.

"It has a nice ring to it." Y/N shrugged, making Karin shake her head.

"Well, I'm not a beast or have a stupid irrelevent power." Karin glared at Suigetsu. "I can heal any physical power. I guess that's boring to you."

"Really, that seems interesting." Nagi mumbled, poking his cheek. "So if cut myself open would you heal me?"

"I would have to!" Karin sputtered. "And don't go doing that!" She saw the knife poking out of the boy's pocket. Nagi winked at her.

"I'll take your word for it. I know when a person lies." Nagi grinned. "Like when Mommy says there's no more cookies left."

"Nagi shush." Y/N chuckled, ruffling his head. "What are you guys doing here?" Y/N asked the group. Karin grinned, placing her fingers together shyly.

"Well.. we were nearby that hideous zoo, on our way home. I could sense your chakra." Karin scoffed. "No one else could be so emotionally confused." Karin sputtered as Y/N threw herself into Karin's arms, smushing her cheek against hers.

"Sasuke!" Karin groaned. "Get her off me!" Karin huffed as Sasuke picked Y/N up suddenly, draping her over his shoulders.

"We have a base near here now, it's a great place to raise the young." Orochimaru chuckled. "Kabato is here as well."

"Is he a freak too?" Masaru asked. Y/N looked at him sternly, making him back down. "Mom, he won't show me his powers."

"You don't wanna see it." Juugo said, a small smile on his face as the kids surrounded him.

"Yes we do!" Nagi smiled.

"Do you have claws, are you a real monster?"

"He flies." Y/N muttered from Sasuke's shoulders. He swatted her back. "Sorry." She chuckled as the kids all erupted into cheers.

"Mister, I'm not afraid of monsters." Ko said sweetly. "Nothing can scare me after I saw the worst perverts."

"Okay." Sasuke quieted her down as she proudly said it. She smiled up at them.

"It's true. You'd be surprised." Ko giggled. "Cute girls can be deadly too." She held up a knife. Sasuke groaned as she sliced her hand, showing it to Karin. "I wanna see!" She insisted as Y/N landed and grabbed her instantly.

"Ko! That's not cool!" She squeezed her hand for the young girl, making her sulk.

"But I wanted to see her power." She pouted as Sasuke disarmed her. Karin raised an eyebrow.

"Kid, you didn't even flinch." Karin muttered, crouching down to Ko's level next to Y/N. Ko paused with a shrug.

"That isn't the worst thing that's happened to me." Ko smirked. "Pretty girls like me have it the worst." She said proudly. Y/N sighed.

"Not anymore." Y/N promised her. "Karin you don't have to, I'll wrap it and have Sakura do it later." Y/N said. There was blood pooling from the cut slowly.

"No, it's okay." Karin murmured. "Call me crazy, but maybe I wanna actually catch up. If that's alright with you?" Karin pulled her sleeve up, showing it to Ko.

"I'd like that. You should come over. It's just me and the kids lately." She smiled as Karin instructed Ko to bite.

Sasuke dropped Y/N and the kids off at their house after lunch, the kids all slugging slowly. Their bellies were full and they were exhausted from running around. "Naruto's got a mission for me." Sasuke muttered, leaning his forehead against hers. She smiled sadly, wrapping her hands around her neck.

"Are you going far?" Y/N asked, squeezing his hand. Sasuke nodded, stroking her hair behind her ear. They were laying side by side in bed, fully clothed and exhausted after a day at the zoo. Sarada had fallen asleep with Ko in her bed, and the rest of the boys were in their beds passed out shortly.

"When are you coming back?" Y/N asked Sasuke, laying her head on his chest. Their arms around each other were snug. "Do you need help?"

Sasuke frowned. Normally on the occasion  Y/N accompanied him on missions, he had been increasingly distracted. It was always easier when he was by himself. "Y/N I'm going to be gone for days." Sasuke muttered, playing with the ends of her hair.

"I can't leave, I have to watch the kids." She pouted. "Promise me you'll be safe."

"Baby, no offense." Sasuke snorted. "But have you met me?"

"Sasuke i'm serious. I don't know what I'd do without you." Y/N frowned. "I know I seem to be better but.." Sasuke looked at her concerned. "Sometimes I can barely hold it together." She whispered, frowning.

"Just talk to me." Sasuke whispered back, cupping her cheek. "Whats on your mind right now?"

"That I don't think I can do this alone." Y/N said after a deep breath. "That I'm a terrible daughter, a terrible girlfriend, a terrified mom.. everything." Y/N looked terrified. Sasuke cupped the back of her head and pulled her close.

"Y/N, you are perfect. If your that worried I'll have someone come visit go help you." Sasuke squeezed his hand.

"I didn't want them to know how broken I still am." Y/N said shakily, a tear at her eye. "Its not fair to them. I don't even know what I want." Y/N mumbled. Sasuke kissed her forehead, rubbing her back for her while she talked.

"Y/N, your doing a great job. Their happy and healthy." Sasuke promised her. "You can do this. I have to go home now." Sasuke said gently. Y/N nodded, reel leasing him.

"Thanks for listening to me. I needed that." Y/N sniffled as he squeezed her hand again.

"Youve got this princess." He hugged her once more. "Ill have someone check in to make sure your okay." Sasuke rubbed her back, enjoying the warmth. "I'll see you in a few days."

"Okay. Bye." Y/N waved half heartedly as he moved towards the door. He picked it up, flashing her a smirk.

"I'll have someone fix this. We should breaking the bed, not the door." Sasuke muttered aloud. She broke out into giggles, not able to hold it in. "There's that smile." He teased her as he exited the room, pushing the door back in place.

Y/N wiped her watery eye, still chuckling as she laid back down. Sasuke and Naruto always managed to find a way to make her laugh. She leaned back down, trying to fight off the dark thoughts.

Y/N dreamt of the kids, running up and down the hallways. When a hand shook her awake, she realized that it wasn't a dream. Nagi was standing tiredly in her room, a soft look on his face. "Momma, there's someone at the door. I was going to answer it but there's a big dog." Nagi explained.

Y/N pursed her lips and rolled her eyes as she rolled over, groaning into the pillow loudly. Nagi chuckled at her. "Is it your ex?"

"How did you know?" Y/N mumbled, confused as she forced herself to get up. She stretched, yawning.

"Papa was talking about your ex pet dog. Not that hard to put together." Nagi chuckled at her.  Y/N sighed as she stood up.

"Just please go to your room. You look tired anyway squirt." Y/N fluffed his hair.

"Okay momma. If you need me I'm in bed." Nagi yawned. They left the room together, Y/N walking him to his room.  She saw Ko'a sleepy face peaceful, her softest snores trickling through. Y/N watched him walk up the stairs to the top bunk.

"This jackass." Y/n mumbled under her breath as she walked down the hall to the front door. She took a deep breath and opened it. She blinked, seeing Kiba and Akamaru there. Akamaru was the first to react, nuzzling his puppy nose against her knees. Y/N petted him, sighing as she was forced to look up at the man.

"Kiba." She murmered. "How are you doing?"

Kiba scratchdd the back of his neck, looking shyly af her. "Im fine. How about you?"

"Good. What did you come here for?" Y/N murmered, leaning against the doorway.  Kiba chuckled lightly.

"Well, I was hoping I could talk to you inside." Kiba said. "We could make tea.. do this properly?" He asked.

Y/N frowned.

"I know you have kids now, and I think that's great!" Kiba held his hands out. "I don't have any ulterior motives.  I'm just honestly trying to recconecf with you." Kiba assured her. "Please?" Kiba added.

Y/N sighed. "Come in I guess." Y/N opened the door, letting Kiba in. "Sorry Akamaru, no dogs inside." Y/N frowned. "Ill send your jackass owner out with a bowl of food and water." She rubbed the dogs head, shutting herself and Kiba inside the house.

Kiba looked around. "It's been a while since Ive been here." He murmered, following her to the kitchen. "I helped you move remember." Kiba murmered as he tried to make conversation.

"Yeah." Y/N mumbled. "I rember that." She muttered as she pouted Akamaru a bottle of water and some leftovers she handed it to Kiba, who kept his hand brushed up against hers. She raised an eyebrow at him.

"Your just as pretty as you were back then you know." Kiba murmered then took the items she had offered. He left her in the room, sighing to herself.

"This bitch." She muttered, rubbing her hands down her face. "I don't got time for this shit."

Kiba came back to see her sitting at the table, instant tea already made as she sat uncomfortably. "I'm still confused on why your here, after the events we went through." Y/N muttered, tapping her fingers against the counter top.

"Well that's what I wanted to bring up to you in person." Kiba chuckled, sitting down. "Y/N, we've always be friends." Kiba murmered, sitting down right across from her. He reached over to hold her hand, but retracted when she scoffed. "Okay I get it. You don't trust me."

"You played my feelings to get me into bed, knowing I was emotionally scarred." Y/N smiled ironically. "I trust you with my life."

"Y/N, it's nothing personal." Kiba coughed. "I never meant to hurt you."

"For me to find out." Y/N corrected with an attitude. She deeply regretted letting him in.

"Well when you put it like that.. Wait!" Y/N almost stood up, about to go call Naruto to have him remove his friend."Y/N please, we connected. You know that." Kiba sighed in relief as she sat down. "But I think Neji isn't your type. You didn't seem as happy as you were with me."

"Bitch." Y/N muttered to herself, laughing. "I can't believe you have the AUDACITY to tell me we looked happier. We went on like three dates. If you can even call them that. We," She pointed inbetween them. "Were a mess. I'm still a mess."

"Then let me fix that." Kiba muttered, standing up. He walked around the table so he could sit next to her. She froze, feeling him press his shoulder against hers. "Why are you so tense? I'm not going to hurt you again." Kiba said strongly. "I promise you that."

His voice was booming in her ear, but he was talking quietly. She didn't like this. She clenched her free hand, her nails scratching her denim. Y/N felt trapped as he put an arm around her shoulders, trying to get her to pay attention to him. 

"If you give me another chance, I will treat you like you deserve." Kiba promised, a hand on her chin as he tilted her up to look at him. He froze, releasing her immediently.

She was lost, trapped in another cold embrace from years ago. Pinned to the floor of the outside ground. Hair was scratching her face as she screamed, no one around to hear her. She could feel sharp edges digging into her back.

Y/N awoke in Kiba's arms. She was leaning on his shoulder, being lightly smacked away. "Can you hear me?" Kiba pleaded with her.  She nodded, shaking her head to clear it.

"Yeah." She muttered. "Sorry." She smacked her forehead, cringing to herself. The last thing she wanted was Kiba going around telling people she was crazy or weird when the kids lives were now at stake.

"You just blacked out. Are you okay? I caught you." Kiba said with both of his hands on her cheeks. His thumb darted out, stroking her cheek. She nodded, mesmerized at what she had seen while asleep.

"Im fine. I dream a lot while awake." Y/N laughed aloud. "I'll forgive you." Y/N withdrew from his grip.

"I'll do whatever it takes to earn your trust back." Kiba frowned. "We used to be close back in school."

"Yeah." Y/N muttered, throwing her untouched tea in the sink. "I don't mind being friends."

"Me either. And just so you know I don't have girlfriends." Kiba chuckled lightly, rubbing the back of his hair. "I kinda have a reputation thanks to Ino now."

"As you should." Y/n shrugged. The boy nodded.

"Your right. I did a shitty thing. And I'll pay for it every day." Kiba murmered, grabbing her hand as she came within walking distance. "I can prove to you that I'm doing what's right."

"Alright." Y/N sighed. "You have a good day now."

"Well wait? What are you doing for the rest of the day?" Kiba asked. "Your kids are here, I can smell them. Why don't they join us? I can prove to you that I'm a family man." Kiba chuckled lightly.

Y/N blinked. "Their asleep. They had a long day. We went to the zoo today."

"The zoo? WOW!" Kiba exclaimed. "I bet they had a lot of fun." Kiba smiled. "You know, if they like animals I can take them on a tour of my clans section of the village. It's hard not to like dogs, I'm sure they'll like it." Kiba blabbering on. Y/N frowned.

"We'll think about it. They only seem to like the extreme animals so far." Y/N let out a chuckle. "They like crocodiles." Y/N explained the story of Ko jumping into the crocodile pen. Kiba laughed out loud.

She stifled a yawn, obviously tired. "Oh im sorry, I didn't realize I was keeping you up." Kiba said nervously. "Are you sure your not mad at me?" Kiba pleaded with her, his eyes soft.

Y/N cursed herself inwardly. "I accept your apology Kiba." Kiba hugged her, nuzzling his nose against her shoulder. She shut her eyes, breathing in the scent of fresh laundry. The only thing she had missed about Kiba was his big strong body.

"Im glad. I'll do anything to get another chance with you." Kiba whispered in her ear.

Y/N sighed, releasing him. "Okay." She murmered to the boy, patting his head. "Well I'm going to take a nap. I'll talk to you later." Y/N yawned, walking him to the front door. He trailed behind her.

"You sure you don't want me to stay?" Kiba asked lightly. Y/N cocked an eyebrow. "I mean your boyfriend doesn't have to know."

"He's not my boyfriend." Y/N said curtly. Kiba grinned.

"Okay, then you don't have to worry about him do you? If you want I'll hold you while you sleep, like old times."

Y/N tried not to let out a scream as she opened the door wider for him. Kiba chuckled. "It's okay I know the answer." He chuckled. He exited the house, Y/N given a nice wave.

"Oh come on." Y/N smiled firmly when he pulled her into a hug. "You don't have to be so tense." He teased her. "Bye Y/N-Chan." Kiba then left the house.

Y/N shut the door, rolling her eyes as she quickly went back to bed. Some days she was so tired of men.
