Itachi x Reader

Y/N was his childhood friend. He remembered during the Great War when she fed him dango, and hid in a cave with him and his little brother. When Itachi grew up and sacrificed his entire life, she alone was spared next to his little brother Sasuke. Somebody had to watch him.

So when Y/N sobbed that dark night, and held Sasuke protectively in her arms, Itachi knew he had made the right choice in leaving Sasuke to her.

Sasuke grew up under Y/N's teachings. Everyday after her work in the hospital, she would be there to meet him at the ninja academy doors. Y/N made sure Sasuke was never alone. Sasuke took care of her just as well as she took care of him.

When Itachi infiltrated the Leaf village again, and watched her as she protected his brother from him again, behind his mask he was broken. In a normal life, he may she married her, took her home to his parents, and watched her interact with their own children.

As Y/N held the angry Sasuke back from Itachi in from of the Jinkuraki, she threw herself in front of Itachi. "TAKE ME!" She screamed in anguish. "Don't hurt these boys please. Do with me as you please!" Y/N offered in sobs. Itachi made sure his icy glare didn't go away. He couldn't drop his cover, even in front of Kisame.

"Y/N NO!" Sasuke screamed as Itachi immobilized her with her pressure point. Sasuke fought and kicked against Naruto as Y/N collapsed into Itachi's arms. Itachi immediately threw Y/N into Kisame's arms and turned into Sasuke.

As Sasuke broke free and the two of them battled, Sasuke was quick to be defeated. He was no match for Itachi's great power. Itachi slammed him against the wall hard, twisting his arm in painful ways as the boy screamed.

"You need hatred Sasuke. You need to learn what happens when your not strong enough." Itachi whispered lovingly. Sasuke screamed as he looked back at the unconscious Y/N.

"She's all I have left!" Sasuke croaked our underneath Itachi's tight grip. "She sacrifices everything for me. Please don't hurt her. She doesn't deserve this." Sasuke fought the tears that were trying to come to the service.

Itachi released him as Sasuke grew unconscious. Itachi knew in his heart he couldn't hurt her.

As the three of them, Itachi, Y/N, and Kisame traveled safely and quickly away. Y/N awoke in a nice warm bed.

It was Itachi's room.

"Y/N." Itachi called out to the scared girl on the bed. "Please allow me to explain." Itachi called out. Y/N frowned but allowed him to explain his situation. At the end of the night, Y/N fell asleep, having an entirely different feeling of Itachi then she did before.
