*Athenas POV*

        I woke up, to the feeling of not being able to breathe properly. What the hell. I opened my eyes, trying to take deep breathes. I looked down to see Ace laying on top of me with his head on my chest asleep. Damn, he's heavy. I mean what did I expect, he's a 6'5 man made out of pure muscle.

       I tried to push him off of me, he just groaned and laid on me harder if that was even a thing. I pushed him harder. He just wrapped his arm around me, turning, so now I was laying on him. I mean at least I can breathe. I took the opportunity to take deep breaths. Ace just cuddled into me, tightening his hold on my waist.

          I got comfortable trying to go back to sleep. I soon drifted into darkness.

                  *Time Skip*

            I woke up to someone kissing my face. I opened my eyes and saw, Ace below me giving me kisses on my cheeks. "Good morning." He said with a smile. I just gave him a half-smile, trying to go back to sleep. "No I'm bored, wake up." He groaned out. I just shook my head no, snuggling back into his chest, trying to sleep.

         I was on the verge of falling asleep. When Ace began shaking me violently. "No," I grunted out. "Wake up!" Ace said it like a kid. I just rolled off of him, curling up on the edge of the bed taking the rest of the blanket with me. "Wait! No, come back." Oh my god. I felt him pull me on his chest once again. I barely even opened my eyes yet, and I already had to go through all of this.

        I slowly opened my eyes, waiting for my blurred vision to clear up. Once it did I saw Ace looking up at me. I just got out of his embrace and stood up. He immediately pulled me back, "No stay please." He said holding me in place. "I need to take a shower, you can pick out my outfit though." I reasoned, he is so weird, he woke me up and when I get out of bed, he wants me to stay?

         "You can use my bathroom if you want." He said. "No, I don't trust your shampoo," I said back. "How do you not trust my shampoo?" He asked back confused, "I don't know I just don't." I'm not lying, his shampoo could have all types of bad ingredients. I mean his hair looks amazing, but I still don't trust it.

        I felt his arms loosen around my waist, "thank you." I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and stood up. I stretched all of my body, hearing my bones crack, every so often. Ace was still lying in bed, but he was just watching me. "Are you coming to my room or not?" I asked now standing up regularly, I thought he wanted to pick my outfit out.

        He slowly began getting off of the bed too. Once we got up, I started walking to the door, I opened his bedroom door, walking out of his room towards mine, I knew Ace was right behind me because I could hear his big footsteps. Once I made it to my room, I sat on my bed, waiting for Ace to find me something to wear.

After a few minutes of him being in my closet, he came out, with another dress. It was white with, little pink flowers. (At the top) He handed it to me, I felt something under the dress. Did he grab something else from my closet? I thought confused I looked under it and saw he also picked out my underwear. He grabbed a black lacy thong. I rolled my eyes, when I realized he went through my whole underwear drawer, that's what he was doing for so long? Unbelievable.

         "Seriously?" I joked. "I couldn't help myself." He said with a small blush appearing on his face. I just laughed and stood up walking to the bathroom. I heard Ace walking behind me, what is he doing? I turned around to ask what he was doing, and my body was met with Aces hard chest. I felt pain immediately in my nose.

         "Oh fuck." I groaned in pain. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." He backed up, bending down to my height. He brought his ruff hand to my nose, "I'm so sorry, please forgive me." He begged. I just started laughing, he's so cute. "I'm fine," I said while blood poured out of my nose. I quickly threw my dress on my bathroom counter. Not trying to get blood on it.

       Ace went over and grabbed some toilet paper for me, and held it up to my nose. "I am so sorry." He began to apologize again. "It's fine. I'm pretty sure it's not broke. I just need to shower." I said trying to hint at him to leave the bathroom, so I could shower. "Okay." He said standing there not moving. "I need to shower," I said more clearly. "Okay?" He said confused. "You should leave," I said. He just groaned and stomped out of the bathroom like a kid.

         He's so clingy, I rolled my eyes, turning the shower on. Once it got to the right temperature I undressed and steeped in enjoying the feeling of the water run down my back. My mind went to Ace. Yesterday when he asked me to be his girlfriend, I couldn't have been happier. I think I love him. Even though he's super clingy, and has his moments, I still like him I like him more because of it.

          I began to wash my hair, still having Ace on my mind. Once, I finished everything I need to do in the shower, I steeped our wrapping a towel around my body. I quickly dried off-putting on lotion and my clothes. I started combing my wavy hair, when I heard a knock at the door, weird. I open my bathroom door, to be met with, Sage and Ace. Sage was whimpering, looking around, once he saw me he practically latched himself onto me. I rubbed his back trying to calm him down. 

         I walked back into the bathroom and continued brushing my hair. Ace was just standing there looking at Sage and me. I could see him through the mirror. Once, I was finished I turned around leaving the bathroom, Ace following behind me like a lost puppy.

         "Ace stop following me around like that, stand next to me," I said getting annoyed with him following me. "Where are you going?" He asked now standing next to me. "To the kitchen to make breakfast," I replied. "Can you make pancakes?" He asked with a hopeful glint in his eyes. "Whatever you want," I said with a sweet smile.

          We had just made it to the kitchen. I had given Sage back to Ace, going to the fridge. I grabbed everything I was going to need for pancakes, and began making the batter, Ace was just sitting at the island playing with Sage. Every so often I would look over at them. I still can't believe that's my boyfriend. It feels so weird to even say that.

         I turned the stove on putting my pan on the burner, putting some butter in the pan. Once everything heated up I put the pancake batter in the pan. I waited for the pancake to cook through on the side before flipping it. After repeating this a few times I had made enough for the three of us, and some for the guards. I put the guard's pancakes in the fridge. I'll give those to them later. I placed the pancakes on three different plates.

        Sage, Ace, and I are just going to eat at the island today. I grabbed the syrup, putting it on the island, grabbing the plates and setting them down. Sage was just sitting on Aces lap. I made sure to cut Sages pancakes up in small pieces for him. I pored a little bit of syrup for Sage, Ace began feeding him. I cut up my pancakes digging in. I moaned at the taste. Damn, I did well. "You're purposely doing that." Ace said, his voice deeper than usual. I turned to my side to ask what he means when I saw his eyes are now a darker shade of green than usual. What is up with him? Oh. My eyes widened.

          "Sorry." I forced it out of my mouth, quickly turning back to my plate. He just grunted, in response. I wanted to laugh so hard but I didn't want to make his torture harder for him. I just made sure to quietly eat. Once the three of us were finished, I held Sage while Ace did the dishes. He told me some maids do it but I still forced him to do them.

         I just feel bad for leaving a sink full of dishes. Once he was finished, Sage was ready for a nap. I swear he just woke up. I carried him to his nursery, while Ace went to his office. He told me to come in there when I'm finished putting him down. I walked into Sage's nursery, kissing him on the temple, laying him down in his crib. I set up a baby monitor, and made my way out of the room, turning the light out.

         I then was on my way to Aces office. I had been in here before but not for long. I wonder what he wants. I arrived at the big oak doors, I just walked in, I figured he already expected me. When I walked in he was sitting at his desk, but that's not what caught my eye, it was the reading glasses he had on. They make him look so harmless, who knew he needed those. There was a laugh at the back of my throat, before I could let it out I saw Ace gaze upon me. That was enough to take my breath away.

         I just walked to his desk plopping into one of his chairs. I still had the baby monitor in my hand, I placed it on the desk, I put my feet on his desk, getting a better look at my strawberry socks. I got them the other day, they're so cute. While I was admiring my socks Ace was admiring me.

        When I regained my focus, I realized Ace never told me why he wanted me here. "Wait, why am I here again?" I asked. "I just want you in here while I work." He replied, looking back at his workload. I just stood up, walking over to his bookshelf. I've always been a reader, but haven't gotten to read lately.

         My hand scanned over all of his books. They've gotten a little dusty, meaning he hasn't touched these in a while. I picked a random romance book, walking back to my seat, I was about to sit down when a gruff voice in front of me said, "Athena come here." I began walking over to him, stopping in front of his legs, which were spread. He just grabbed my waist, sitting me on his lap. At first, I was super uncomfortable but once I got comfortable I began reading.

          I could feel his gaze on me but I was too into this book to even ask him to stop. I felt him drop his head on my neck groaning. I put my book down, not before remembering the page number. "What?" I asked concerned. "I don't want to work." He complained like a child. "If you don't get to work I'll get up." I threatened. Not like I was going to do it. I was too comfortable, but he needs to get his work finished. He just quickly picked his head up strengthening his posture and getting to work. I guess he didn't want me to get up. I just opened to my previous page number, getting lost in the words.

           I don't know how long it's been but I've just been reading lost in my world when Ace grunted out a "finished." I just looked up, "see it wasn't that hard." I put down my book, giving him my full attention. He was about to start talking when the baby monitor went off.

                 *Time Skip*

             Ace, Sage, and I had just finished dinner. Tonight Ace cooked for me. He made his mom's pasta recipe, and let me say it was delicious. Despite his mom being a horrible parent she knew how to cook. I was washing dishes while Ace took Sage to bed. I was scrubbing the last pot when I felt two hands wrap around my waist. Ace put his head in the crook of my neck. "I'm so tired." He mumbled out. "Do you want to go to bed right now?" I asked, now finishing up with the dishes, I began to wipe the counter making sure they were clean. "Kinda." He replied.

"Who's room are we sleeping in?" I questioned. Honestly, I don't care. "Mine." He said unwrapping his arms from my waist. I immediately wanted him to put them back. I mentally groaned. Ace intertwined our hands and we began walking to his room. Once we got there, I realized I still had my dress on. "Hey, I need to go back to my room to change," I stated. "You can wear something of mine." He started walking over to his closet. I just sat on the bed waiting for him. He came out with a pair of boxers and a Tee shirt. I just stood up and grabbed them for his arms, walking to the bathroom. I closed the door and began undressing.

Once, I was finished I stepped out of the bathroom to see Ace was already in bed waiting for me. I slipped in next to him, almost immediately his arms were wrapped around me. He laid his head on my chest and pulled me into him. Soon enough I slipped into darkness
