*Athenas POV*

            I woke up feeling super warm. It felt really good, and I was surrounded by an ungodly scent. If I could live like this forever that would be great. I dug my head deeper into my pillow. I don't remember much after I was outside with Ace. A smile made its way to my face, he said yes to my date. I do remember Ace came into my room last night, I think I fell off of my bed. The memories of last night became more clear.

        My eyes immediately shot open. I slowly moved my head up and saw, Ace. My eyes widened, I looked down and saw his arm was wrapped around my waist, we were cuddling. I can't believe I asked him to stay last night. Not that I didn't want him here, but he's going to think I'm crazy or something. I felt Ace start to move, he tightened his hold on my waist, pulling me closer, he put his head in the crook of my neck, inhaling. I don't think he knows I'm awake, "Good morning." Ace said with his morning voice. His morning voice almost made me die right there. I tensed up.

         How did he know I'm awake? "Good morning" I replied sweetly. I'm excited about our date. He brought his face out of my neck, and laying it in my chest, almost like Sage. He just looked up at me with his piercing green eyes. I just smiled down at him. "You know, I get why Sage does this now." He said referring to laying on my chest. "Yeah?" I said back. "Sage is going to be up soon, we have to get up," I said looking down at him, I brought my hand to his hair massaging his scalp. He just groaned, "I don't want to." He replied, looking like a pouty kid.

I just laughed and tried to get up, he pushed me back down lightly, "Ace let me get up, I have to get dressed." I said. "Only if I get to pick out your outfit." He said with a mischievous smirk. I already know where this is headed. "Fine," I said, trying to sit up again, Ace allowed me to get up this time, letting me go, he happily hopped off my bed and walked to my closet with a smile on his face.

A few minutes later he came out with a dress that went to my mid-thigh. It was lavender with small white flowers on it. He just gave me a sheepish smile, "Go put it on." He encouraged me. "I have to take a shower," I said, getting up with the dress in my hands, walking to my closet to get undergarments, I opened my drawer and heard something from behind me, I saw Ace looking into the draw, I quickly closed it.

He looked up from me giving me a smirk, "I'll pick those out for you." He said walking forward. "No, you won't," I said standing in front of it. He groaned disapproval. I just laughed and pointed to the door, once I knew he was gone I grabbed what I needed leaving the closet, to find him on my bed, waiting for me. "I'm going to go shower, you can go get ready while you wait," I said now walking towards my bathroom.

I closed the door, remembering to lock it. I set everything down, walking to the shower the water on, I began to get undressed, I tested the water, by putting my hand under the water. Once I liked the temperature I stepped in. I began scrubbing my scalp with my strawberry-scented shampoo. I washed it out doing the same with the conditioner, I began to wash my body.

Once I was done I stepped out, wrapping a towel around me. I dried my hair with a smaller towel, getting dressed. I brushed my teeth and began brushing my wavy hair out. Once I was finished with everything, I walked out to see, Ace now in a pair of dark grey sweatpants and a white shirt. His hair was wet meaning he must have showered as well.

When he saw me a smile made its way into his face, "You look beautiful." My face immediately headed up from the compliment. "Thanks. You don't look too bad either." I said back, fiddling with my fingers. "Let's go wake up Sage." He said standing up looking down on me. Ace is as tall as a skyscraper I swear.

I was the first one to walk out, meaning he was behind me, I heard a groan from behind me, so I turned around and saw his eyes in my ass. "ACE!" I whispered screamed, when he realized I caught him, he gave me a boyish grin. I just rolled my eyes, turning around walking to Sages room. When I got to the door, I opened it to see, Sage still asleep. "Awe," I said quietly walking over to him. I slowly picked him up putting his head on my chest, his hair was a mess so I began to finger comb it when he looked up at me. He had the same eyes as his father, I gave him a kiss in his temple, bringing him to his changing table.

          I slowly began undressing him, "Hey Ace, pick something for him to wear." I said looking over my shoulder glancing at Ace. I turned back to Sage who was now only in his diaper, I check his diaper, and saw he need a change. I changed his diaper, and felt someone next to me, I looked over and saw Ace with a light green onesie, I grabbed it putting it on Sage.

        Once I was finished I tried to tame his bedhead. Sage was just blabbering about whatever, he was saying 'dada' a few times in his random blabbers, which never failed to make me smile. I lifted him putting him in my hip, when Sage realized Ace was with us, he reached over, trying to get Ace to lift him, "Dada." He said. Ace just laughed and took him from me.

        Ace and I began our walk to the kitchen, side by side. We both had our attention set on Sage. Once I made it to the kitchen, I walked over to the fridge, grabbing everything I needed for pancakes, I had Ace grab the flour for me from the pantry. I started making the batter while waiting for the stove to heat up. Once everything was ready I began making some for everyone, knowing they would get mad if I didn't make them some. Just as I was finishing up hades, gio, Grayson and Luke walked in.

They had all eyes on the huge place of pancakes I just made. I picked the plate up bring it to the dining table. I went back to the kitchen grabbing syrup and fruit. I came back and almost everyone was already eating. I set down everything. I sat down myself next to Ace and Sage.

I was getting pancakes when someone spoke up, "You look really beautiful today." Grayson said. I blushed slightly, when I heard an inhuman noise come from next to me, I looked over and saw Ace with his fist balled.

"Woah, calm down dude," Grayson said, looking at Ace. I wasn't even hungry anymore, just embarrassed. "Back the fuck off, Grayson." Ace said Grayson's name with so much hatred. "Guys please calm down," I said looking at the both of them. Ace just scoffed, looking down at his food, I just played with my food for the remainder of the time I was sitting at the table. After the altercation, the table was silent, all you could hear was chewing noises and the clinking of the forks and plates. I was the first one to stand up, and walk to the kitchen.

I threw away my leftovers, putting my plate in the sink. Ace walked in next with an empty plate and Sage in his arms. We walked over to me giving me Sage and walking to the sink. "I don't want you talking to Grayson anymore." He said in a strict tone. "I think you're overreacting. It was just a compliment. If you think I like him or something your wrong." I said looking into his now dark green eyes. "I told you not to talk to him." He replied giving me a stern look. "And I said you're overreacting." I shrugged and went to walk out of the kitchen. "I want you in my office in ten minutes." He said, now right behind me, "And preferably without Sage." He added on walking ahead of me now. I just rolled my eyes. I tried to find a maid somewhere, once I found one in the living room, I handed her Sage and began my walk to Aces office.

Once I got to the big oak doors, I knocked, I heard a voice call out, "come in." I stepped in, looking at Ace who was behind his desk looking over some paperwork. "Sit." He said glancing at me. I just walked over to the chairs in front of his desk, sitting down. I was sitting there for a few minutes before he put down whatever paper he was reading. He just looked at me.

I looked back, trying not to crumble under his now intense gaze. "Athena, I don't think you get that I don't want to share you. I don't mean looking at you, talking to you, hell breathing the same air as you. I'm the only one who can do that." He said not breaking eye contact. "Okay, and I don't understand why we're not even dating. We haven't gone on one date yet. You don't get to make those decisions. I'm my person." I said back. "Wrong answer." He said standing up, I reminded sitting down, looking at his intimidating face.

"You want a date? Alright, we're going right now." He said looking down on me. "Right now?" I asked. "Yes, now stand." He instructed. "Okay, but I'm not a fucking dog," I said standing up. "No one said you were." He said now ahold of my upper arm, dragging me towards the office doors. "Slow down," I said trying to take my arm out of his hold. He slowed down but didn't let me out of his hold.

"When I say something you do it." He said we were now at the front door, walking out. I didn't reply. I didn't want to. He walked us to a car, sitting me in the back seat like I was a child. He got in next to me. At first, I was confused why both of us were in the back seat when I realized that there was a driver.

           Rich people. I rolled my eyes. I was just reminding quiet. Who does he think he is? It was just a compliment if he had such a big problem about it, he could have said something to Grayson. He's acting possessive right now, and like I've said we're not even dating. I let out a sigh, trying to get these negative thoughts out of my head. He said we're going on a date, so let me just think about that. I mean I am the one that asked him out in the first place.

           He now had me all worked up. I could feel his intense gaze on me but I didn't dare turn around. He doesn't deserve to even look at me right now. I was watching the buildings pass when I realized were in the city. Where is he taking me in the middle of New York? We started driving towards the less expensive part of town, good. I hate those expensive restaurants with stuck-up waitresses.

         The car soon stopped in front of a small dinner. I went to get out of the car, but my door was already being opened by Ace. I didn't realize he left the car. I just looked up at him and got out of the car. I heard the car door slam behind us. He started walking in front of me, I just followed, I don't think it was a great idea to piss off a mafia leader, know what he's capable of but right now I couldn't care less.

          He opened the dinner door for me, I stepped into the small restaurant, it was a cute little thing, it smelt of Italian food and pastries. A short stubby woman came out, when she saw Ace and me, she quickly walked over kiss Ace on the cheek. Of course, he had to bend down a lot, I mentally Awe at the sight.

       The woman soon turned her attention to me. "And who might this be?" She asked. "This is Athena." Ace replied, giving the lady a small smile. I was taken back when she threw her arms around me. I awkwardly hugged back. "It's nice to meet you, Athena, I'm Rosa." She said offering me a smile.

        "So what brings you in here today." She said looking at the both of us. "I brought Athena here for a date." Ace said awkwardly, I was suddenly finding everything but Rosa's gaze interesting. I just heard a laugh. "Aw, well you guys can sit at the booth in the window." She said pointing to a booth in the corner of the restaurant. Ace and I began walking over to it.

          I sat down first, I then remembered I didn't bring money. "Fuck." I swore under my breath. "What," Ace asked sitting down. "Since some dragged me here unprepared I didn't bring money," I said looking at him. "You want to pay?" He asked surprised. I gave him a 'duh' look, "Obviously." I said. He just looked at me even more surprised. "What?" I questioned. "It's just that no one has ever offered to pay for me." He said truthfully. "Really?" I asked surprised. Wow, I thought. He just nodded. I picked up the menu off the table, looking at it. It's not like I can get anything anyways.

           "Ace, we can't eat, if we can't pay," I stated the obvious. Putting the menu down, now looking at Ace. "Don't worry I have money on me." He said back. "Whatever, but when we get home I'm paying you back," I said with a shrug picking the menu back up. "About earlier, I'm sorry. I just get jealous, and I thought you were going to like Grayson more than me." He said, I looked up from the menu and saw he was already looking at me. "Ace, I just don't ask any man on a date, nor do I just let any man into my bed at night," I said with a laugh. He just let out an awkward chuckle.

          "Hey, can we forget, how I dragged you out of the house and try and have a nice time? For now at least." He asked, might I add he looked kinda nervous. "I don't know," I said trying to hold in my laugh. He looked so defended at that moment. I couldn't hold it anymore, I let out a loud laugh. "I'm just playing around Ace. Yeah, we can act like it never happened." I replied.

        His face went from defended to a smile real quick. "What do you think you're going to get." He asked me. "I think I want some type of pasta right now." I said back, "how about you?" I asked back. "Same. I don't think I ever told you this, but that pasta you made for me that one time was delicious." He said.

          That immediately brought a huge smile to my face. "Yeah? I always wanted to have a bakery or restaurant." I said back. "Really? Where did you learn how to cook?" He asked. "Well when I was younger I had to take care of myself a lot, so I picked up some things there, but when I moved here, Angelo, the owner of the bakery I used to work at taught me a lot to," I replied with a smile thinking of Angelo, I wonder if he has found more workers.

         "The bakery was the first place we met. I remember when you told me to leave I was so taken back, no one had ever talked to me like that." He said with a laugh, "you know no one talks to me the way you do. I think that's why I like you so much, you're not scared of me." He said, being truthful.

          "Oh trust me you scare the shit out of me sometimes, I'm just too stubborn to back down," I said back with a laugh. He soon joined in. We were making conversation, when Rosa walked up with a notepad, "I see you guys are enjoying yourselves." She said with a small smile. I just smiled back. "So what can I get you?" She asked. "Can I get whatever is your best pasta?" I asked, "of course." She replied, "Just get me my regular." Ace said. "Coming right up." She said now walking away. For the rest of our date Ace and I just enjoyed each other story's, talking about, high school, and more recent ones too, we also talked about basic questions and common interests.

           Once we were done, Ace paid and we said our goodbyes to Rosa. Rosa wanted us to come back again sometime. We walked out of three-door, Ace lead me back to the car, making sure to be a gentleman and opening and closing my door. Once he got in we left. I had a really good time with Ace. I think I'm starting to like him. Maybe even have some feelings for him. He's a little possessive and a little bit of a dick, sometimes, but he's good to me, and I'm starting to like him. He's so sweet when he wants to be, and Sage is just a bonus for extra happiness.

        I think I'm starting to like it here.
