"Attention! Her Imperial Majesty Naime Sultan!" Haci Agha announced at the moment I entered the Harem. All the talks suddenly stopped and all the girls stood in a line to bow a woman they still had no idea who I was. They might hear for my name, but they didn't know nothing about me. They didn't know that with my arrival here everything will change.

I walked upstairs to the chambers of Valide Sultana where my mother was settled. In those years where she ruled she renovated the palace and decorated it in her own new style which I pretty much liked, because it couldn't remind me on the all bas scenes that were happening here in my childhood.

"Valide," I said as I came to her and kissed her hand. She was in group with many women out of who I recognised only my sisters Gevherhan and Atike.

"Naime, welcome to your home," Valide said hugging me after she haven't saw me since I gave birth to Mehmed. He came behind me and kissed hand of his grandmother and he was one of her favourites since he was her first grandson.

"Gevherhan, I missed you," I said welcoming my sister with a hug. I knew she has been though a hard time after Murad killed her husband and I felt really sorry for her because she loved him a lot.

"Atike," I said as I hugged her too even though we haven't seen for many years since I left while she was still very young, but we always exchanged the letters.

Beside them two women were standing and I supposed those were Ayse and Farya, Sultan's concubines who obviously gave a lot of trouble to my mother since they were fighting a lot.

"Mehmed, my grandson. How have you been?" Valide asked him as she placed him to sit in her lap while I sat next to her. Mehmed haven't been in a good mood in the last time since all the things his father did made him really sad.

"I am glad we are here now, I'm not afraid anymore," Mehmed said and Valide didn't really understand what is he talking about as she had no idea what happened between Kemal and me and I just nodded at her telling her we will talk about that later.

"I'm sorry for your loss Sultanim, you must be really sad about what happened with your husband," Ayse, Murad's concubine said to me. I had to change my face expression immediately because I had to make people think I am sad about that, not that I am the one who did it.

"Thank you, well a month has passed and there is nothing we can do anymore," I said as I continued to still talk a bit with my mother before I decided to see my brother Murad.

Nur took Mehmed in new chambers that Valide appointed for me. She was with him for the whole time and that made me feel more easy and I knew Amber will be always here to help us.

"Sultanim, I am very sorry for your loss. Kemal Pasha was really loyal man to Ottoman Empire and it's such a loss for everyone losing him on that way," Silahtar Mustafa Pasha said to me while I came in front of Murad's chambers. I remember him from our childhood when Murad ascended the throne he immediately started working for him and he was very loyal to him.

"Thank you, I want to visit my brother Sultan," I said and he just nodded to me and opened doors of Murad's chambers. When I entered I was so happy to see my brother finally on the throne ruling alone without our mother controling him.

"Naime! Welcome back home!" Murad said as he approached me in a hug since we were really close as we were twins and we had a special connection.

"Thank you my brother. I am really happy to see you ruling alone on the throne. I know you will make the best decisions on your own now," I said as I sat next to him on the throne. I saw he is really happy because he had my support in this since barely anyone supported him in taking all the power from our mother.

"You are obviously only one who thinks like that, maybe also our sister Ayse. Valide married her for the third time and her husband is now 30 years elder than her. She gave me no ability to say even a word about that," Murad said and my heart broke knowing Ayse is living her whole life saddened by elder husbands and yet she could do nothing to save herself from that like I did.

"I am also very afraid if Valide would want to marry me very soon after I return here," I said to him faking my sadness about Kemal but Murad knew me and he could know I don't love Kemal even a bit.

"She can do nothing without my approval, you shouldn't worry. But she is plotting against me now, she is again searching for her army to keep Kasim safe from me, because she thinks I would kill him," Murad said and sighed. I hoped mother's fear wasn't real and I hoped Murad would never kill Kasim.

"Valide is always full of fear after everything that happened to Mehmed. She couldn't help herself lose another son and you have to convince her you will do nothing bad to Kasim or Ibrahim," I said to him hoping he wouldn't even think about doing anything bad.

"Come with me," Murad said and led me to his terrace on which I wasn't since our father died and forgot even how from this place Murad can see everything that is happening.

"You see Bayezid there with his soldiers. They are doing practise. But I am afraid if Bayezid would dare to take the throne from me. All the people love him and want to place him on the throne because they say I am without heart and kill everyone that stands on my way," Murad said and my look moved to Bayezid being around with many soldiers and they practised with sword and he was really well in that.

This was subject mother was right on to protect Kasim and Ibrahim from Murad. Bayezid was elder than Kasim and if anything would happen to Murad, Bayezid would ascend the throne. People plotted Murad against his own brothers and I knew if Murad would feel any kind of jealousy or that he is endangered he would get rid of his brothers without any kind of problem. What feared me even more was that Bayezid's mother Gulbahar Sultan was banished for so many years and now Murad allowed her to return which wasn't really well, because maybe Bayezid wouldn't plot around, but she would for sure.

"I hope those are only people's gossip and that Bayezid would never do something like this," I said trying to be strong in front of him which I did for my whole life. Never show any weakness in front of anyone else.

"Our Valide doesn't like him nor his mother, and that gives them even more will to stand against me," Murad said looking down there and I could see he is not feeling well about that subject. I knew I had to change topic because I didn't want already at the first day in Istanbul to have bad thoughts in my head.

"I heard you will be getting children soon. Ahmed and Hanzade must be very happy to get a new sibling," I said quickly changing the topic as Ayse Haseki was pregnant and this was only good news in his Harem.

"Yes, Ayse is pregnant, but we don't functionate well in the last time. Since I married Farya she has started behaving horrible, someone has to calm her down," Murad said and I saw he loves Farya a lot, but the problem was that she for already three years couldn't bear him a child which made everyone in Harem gossip about her.

"You must understand she might felt horrible after you just took Farya to Harem and married her. She is jealous like every woman would be. Don't you remember how our mother was jealous when our father would even look at another woman?" I asked him and smiled. He smiled back but there was something that bothered him.

After having conversation with Murad, I went to the another side of the Palace as I wanted to meet my brothers Kasim and Ibrahim. Luckily they were free, not like our uncle sultan Mustafa has locked all of our brothers in Kafes, but I feared from what I saw in Murad's look that he might do it too very soon.

"Sultanim, I wanted to say something very important to you," Ayse Haseki said to me as she saw me in Harem. She ran towards me even though she shouldn't because she was in her high months of pregnancy and should take care of herself.

"You shouldn't run like this Ayse, you should take care of yourself and of the baby," I said to her when she came closer to me and she seemed really serious.

"Sultanim, your Valide Kosem Sultana ordered now Kemankes Pasha to make investigation about death of your husband because she said Prince Mehmed said something that bothered her, I wanted to tell you this information because they want to keep it in secret for you," she said to me seriously and I was surprised but still shouldn't act like I am surprised. I knew Valide heard Mehmed's words very well and she would investigate it because she knew I had the courage to do many things.

"What's so serious about it Ayse Haseki? Let them do the investigation and see the real reason my husband died, I would love to know more too, but doctors said little to me too," I said seriously as she was very surprised by my words, but I shouldn't be suspicious to anyone.

She obviously expected I would be afraid when she said something like this, because everyone was suspicious now and I didn't really need this to happen yet. Valide knew me very well and she knew both of us were really similar. Same way she dethroned many Sultans, I killed my husband because I couldn't accept his presence in front of me anymore.

"Kasim, I missed you," I said as I entered Kasim's chambers who was reading book there and he immediately went to me to hug me. Out of all my brothers he loved me the most and he was the only one who visited me in Anadolia so many times because he lied to them he was bored in palace.

"Naime, you are finally here. I thought you could never free yourself from that traitor. I am happy you returned here where you belong," Kasim said as he was the only one telling truth in his words because only he has saw the way Kemal has behaved towards me in Anadolia.

"You see, Valide now is suspicious about me because he died. Like she thinks I would kill him," I said to him as not even he who I was closest with should know about the real truth that happened.

"I know you would never do it Naime. Valide will realise the truth now when you are finally here with us. I am so happy because finally someone I am close with is here, Atike and Gevherhan only fight between each other in the last time and it's horrible to be in their presence," Kasim said and this was the first voice of two of them fighting against something. They were so close since childhood and I had no idea why did this happened.

"Why are they fighting?" I asked him.

"Because they both love the same men and they don't want to tell anyone who is that man. I know Naime you will find out everything about it," Kasim said and smiled.
