Jungkook is a medical student now.He wanted to stay beside Taehyung.Two years of staying apart made him crave for the elder just enough.He didn't want to study business major anyways.Plus, he wanted to do something which would help the common people.So he took admission in the same institute as Taehyung's after studying hard for it.His parents, of course, opposed, telling him how he should take business major in order to take over their company in the future.But Jungkook didn't listen to them.

For the first time in life, Jungkook stood up for himself, fighting for his right to choose what he wants to do in life.His parents never acted like parents do with their son.So, why would he try to be a good son and listen to them quietly?Obviously, he wouldn't.He took admission in the institute and also started staying in the dorms.Well, he spent most of his days at their apartment, with Taehyung!

During day time, both of them would be busy with classes and practicals.But at the end, they would find themselves in each other's arms, most of the times sleeping in exhaustion and sometimes, making love.They also went out on dates during off days.Jungkook had to be careful to not get caught but they still enjoyed their time together.They just needed each other to be happy!

Right now, Jungkook was sitting in a corner alone, avoiding the people who were attending the party.He didn't know why his parents were adamant on making him stay until the party ends.It's not like they miss him or something.The thought itself made Jungkook roll his eyes in pure dissatisfaction.

He was bored and was replying to Taehyung's texts in the mean time, while sulking heavily.But he had to snap out of his personal, beautiful world to the harsh reality when he head his father's voice in the microphone all of a sudden.

Jungkook couldn't believe his ears when the old man suddenly announced his marriage with some guy named Nick who was the son of their business partner.Jungkook found the name familiar but it was not his concern at that time.At the moment, Jungkook was not only feeling hurt or scared but also he felt his anger rising to its maximum.He wanted to burst out of anger.How dare his father, just how dare he!

Mr. and Mrs. Jeon were confused when Jungkook suddenly marched towards them and tried to snatch the microphone away.Jungkook wanted to announce his love life in front of the whole world, he wanted to say that he belongs to someone already in front of everyone.But his parents thought he was drunk and that's why he was behaving like that at that time.So, they took him to his previous room even after he protested with his all might.

Other people just watched in silence, not knowing how to react to the Jeon's only son behaving recklessly in an ongoing party.Once the boy was out of their sight, they continued minding their own businesses again which was enjoying the party.

"He shouldn't have drunken so much.What will people think about us now?" Mrs. Jeon said, shaking her head in utter disappointment.

"I'm not fucking drunk.How many times do I have to tell you?" Jungkook, at the end, couldn't help himself from cursing out loud.

"Behave yourself, Jungkook.You are a Jeon for God's sake." Mr. Jeon's voice roared through the room which made Jungkook flinch hard.But he didn't cower away.He looked at his father's eyes daringly, instead.

"You can't marry me to some stranger just like that.Did you even bother to ask me once before announcing such a thing?Do you even think of me as your son?" Jungkook yelled a his parents who looked unbothered by his crying and yelling.

"You are going to marry him and that. is. it.We want to turn our partnership to something more serious.What can be better than marrying you to their son." Mr. Jeon spoke as if it was a matter of fact.

Jungkook scoffed in disbelief.He felt pathetic to have such parents to whom he doesn't mean anything!

"I. Will. Not. Marry. Anyone.I already belong to someone else and I will never leave him." Jungkook panted heavily after yelling at his parents again.He didn't feel like standing in front of them.It was suffocating for him.He wanted to stay in Taehyung's embrace instead which never fails to make him feel safe and protected.

"What did you say?Who's that bastard?" Mr. Jeon's eyes turned red out of anger when Jungkook said those words loudly.

"Don't you dare to call him names, Mr. Jeon.I won't hesitate to do something that can ruin your so called reputation.I don't care what you think about me.Hell, you never paid attention to me.The only good thing that has ever happened to me was him, only him.I won't tolerate you badmouthing my love, my pride." Jungkook was fuming in anger at this point.

"Sure, thing.Go to him, then.We won't stop you." His father said with a sickeningly sweet smile.

All the while, Mrs. Jeon just looked at the father-son duo silently.She was too dumbfounded to say anything.But did Jungkook care?Obviously no.He doesn't expect her to stand for him in the first place.

Jungkook wiped his tears harshly as he walked towards the door, not wanting to see his parents' faces for a single more second.But he stopped, he had to stop when he heard his father speaking up all of a sudden -

"You can go to him.We can't stop you.We can't do anything to you.After all, you are our son.But we can stop him for sure.Or maybe, stop his life?"

Jungkook turned around with wide eyes.He was horrified.He knew his parents were not good people but he didn't know they could stoop that low!

"You wouldn't dare to hurt him." Jungkook said.His eyes were teary and his voice held venom in it.

"Who said I'll hurt him.You will be the one to hurt him." Mr. Jeon smirked looking at his son's horrified look.He hated it when someone talked back to him, might it be his own blood.

"You should be aware of the fact, son that I have connections with all the powerful people of this country.So, it won't be difficult for me to ruin his career or whatever he does.And lastly, I will announce your marriage to the media as well." Mr. Jeon continued when Jungkook didn't reply anything.

Jungkook stood there like a statue.He couldn't even cry at that point.He was horrified, his whole world collapsed on his head just in mere seconds!

He went away from the mansion, looking like a dead person.The decision was already made.Jungkook couldn't be with Taehyung because he would never want Taehyung to lose his career because of him.He couldn't just snatch Taehyung's dreams away from him for his selfishness.The elder has worked so hard to reach this point.Jungkook would never let his father break Taehyung.He would protect the elder and his dreams at any cost !

There was one more thing...more like a fact....Jungkook can't think of living without Taehyung.......

Before Jungkook reached their apartment, he composed himself.It was hard but thinking of Taehyung, he somehow managed to control his broken self.

When he entered the apartment, he was met with some beautiful decorations along with a smiling Taehyung in the middle of the room.Jungkook ran into the open arms of his lover and hugged him as if his life depended on it.Taehyung obviously, wrapped his arms around him to pull him more towards him.Jungkook sniffed Taehyung's scent longingly.He knew he wouldn't be able to be with the elder for long.

As usual, they spent their time enjoying each other's company.The whole time, Jungkook was feeling heavy in his chest but he tried his best to musk his inner turmoil.Taehyung knew something was bothering Jungkook.But he thought of waiting till the younger himself decides to tell him.At the end of the day, Jungkook can't hide things from him....

During their movie marathon, Jungkook suddenly became needy.To say Taehyung was surprised would be an understatement.Usually, he is the one who initiates their intimate moments.Seeing Jungkook this restless, made Taehyung confused.Now he was sure that something was actually bothering Jungkook.

He tried to calm him down by talking to him but at the end, they ended up in the bedroom, claiming each other one more time...

Tears rolled down Jungkook's eyes when he looked at his lover's face who was sleeping on his naked chest peacefully.After making love for hours continuously, both of them were exhausted.Taehyung cleaned both of them before falling asleep.But Jungkook couldn't sleep.Instead, he stared at Taehyung's sleeping figure longingly.He raised his head a little to kiss the elder's face lovingly.

"I'm sorry, Tae.I love you too much to lose you....I won't be able to take it if something happens to you.....I-it's better f-for us t-to stay s-separated...B-but I promise, I-I'll love you t-till m-my last b-breath.....o-only you....J-just don't h-hate me......P-please" Jungkook murmured, trying not to wail loudly.He laid there, massaging Taehyung's scalp and placing soft kisses on his face every now and then.He wanted to live the last few hours of his peaceful life, he wanted to take in each and every features of Taehyung so that he can go on for few days......

The only few days of his life !
