Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness. And they live by what they hear. Such people become crazy... or they become legend. -- Jim Harrison

Don came back into the house. One more time. That's all it'll take he thought, just one more push! Amelia was right where Don wanted her for it.

"Amelia, will you hear me out one last time. Really, please?" Don was smiling. His eagerness was starting to annoy Amelia. It was visible on her face now. Don watched as Amelia stepped closer, her voice starting to get louder with each word.

"Listen, Don! I've really had enough of this pushing! I'm not leaving Vlad! I'm not into you! Why don't you get that already! You know what!"

Don was about to get one more word in before she screamed out the words, he feared she'd say.

"I LOVE VLAD!"

---

Just inches from the door, Vlad had the front door just cracked. He had come back to talk to Amelia about the queen and the wolf king becoming mates. But the screams and yelling disrupted him from those thoughts. Hearing Amelia's voice like that made him worry.

In the living room, he found Amelia absolutely losing her mind on Don. The look Don had was kind of amusing to Vlad. Though what shocked him most was what he heard. But he wasn't going to rush on about that.

"You need to get out." Amelia's tone was almost poison to the air. Don snuffed, turning only to see Vlad. It only fueled the situation at this point and Don growled.

"Hello," Vlad spoke out. A small hint of mocking to his tone with a smirk threatening to form. Don jumped. He did his best to tackle Vlad over but to no avail. Vlad had him in a matter of seconds, not wasting energy or time to mess with this idiot. Amelia freaked until she realized Vlad had kneed Don in the stomach.

Don recovered moments later. But it ended rather quickly. I mean, A human against a creature of the night? Please tell me you didn't bet on the human.

Don stumbled out of the house, one last look as he saw Amelia latch onto Vlad's arm. He tsked at the sight before him and left.

"You alright?" Vlad asked Amelia. She nodded and sighed hugging him close.

"Then will you be alright with moving in with me as well?"

Amelia looked at Vlad in shock. Had those words really left him? Did he really just ask that!?

"Wait a minute, are you serious?!"

Lex was hiding. Her gun in hand as she peeked around the shot through the wooden fence that was her cover for now. She was waiting. Patiently. A smile curled wickedly on her face as she saw movement.

Lex jumped up, a quick shot startled some near buy birds as she raced around, shooting more as she dodged the bright yellow paint that threatened to end her game life.

She and Stan were at a Paint Ball Range. For a date that is. It was this or Shooting Gallery. Stan quickly agreed to Paint Ball. She saw that smug look he had a bit thinking he'd win. Ha! Lex loved a challenge. The harder it was, the better.

Silence again. Lex didn't see Stan anymore. But he was close. She could feel it.

"Got you!" Stan appeared what seemed like out of nowhere and Lex dodged and held him down at gunpoint. The tip just inches from the patting that covered his back. She grinned in a mischievous smirk. Stan felt her heart do a flip. The look on his mate's face gave him happy chills.

"I won this one!" Lex smiled as she helped stan up.

Both of them decided to head home. It was getting late and they both were to a point at least exhausted and wanted to relax. Stan drove them both back to Lex's place. In that time, Lex recalled all that was done today, and she had to admit, it was amazing. Stan wasn't really that bad. A faint red started to cover Lex's cheeks thinking about it.

"We're here, "Stan started Lex from her thoughts. The drive was long but felt so short in that time she wasn't on earth. Lex smiled. She thanked Stan for the nice day even offering for him to come inside.

Out of the corner of her eye, Lex turned around sharp, an animal was on her roof just sitting there. It was staring back at her. A fox. Lex couldn't look away. Something about it, how it was looking at her almost like it was really looking on purpose, startled her.

"Hey, Stan...I thought foxes only had one tail."
