30 YEARS LATER

Y/n woke up the next day with a puffy and swollen eyes. She took a quick shower and do her morning routines and get downstairs.

Upon arriving, she saw her maids preparing her breakfast and some are doing house chores.

" Good morning, Ms. Jung. Breakfast is ready. "

Her maid said and bow to her as she move and sit on the chair and started to eat her breakfast.

While eating her breakfast, she look at the chair at the middle. She missed him.

She never knew that things would end up this way. She thought she found happiness when she married him.

She got up and started to walk upstairs towards Jungwoo's room.

As she enter inside her son's room. She look around with sadness and loneliness.

Her eyes are getting teary as she remenicsing the past with her son.

She could still hear his running footsteps whenever he was playing with his father. His high pitch voice every time Jungkook would tickle him and chase him around this room.

Thinking of it made her burst into tears.

She sit on Jungwoo's bed and then she saw his picture. It was his picture on his 7th birthday.

With a teary eyes, she grab it and stare at her son's happy face. She caressing it while tears are flowing down her eyes.

" I miss you so much, baby... "

Her eyes is getting blurry because of her tears.

" W-Why?? Why did you leave me so early? "

She said in between her tears.

" It's been 30 years.... 30 years since we lost you. I m-miss you.. Omma misses you so much... "

She burst into tears as she hug the picture frame and sob harder.

It's been 30 years since Jungwoo died.

Yes, he died 2 months after his birthday. It left pain and sadness in their hearts.

Jungkook was out of town for business trip while Y/n was with Jungwoo and she was buying ice cream for Jungwoo that day without realizing that Jungwoo was running towards the highway.

The bicycle caught his attention that's why he followed it and then he got hit by a truck which caused his death.

Their son's death made their marriage fell apart.

Jungkook was very mad at her. He blamed her for their son's death.

She could still remember his words that she will never forget.

' You are a cursed! You killed our son!! I f*cking hate you! You should be the one who died! Not Jungwoo!! '

Y/n closes her eyes tight while feeling her heart aching in pain. It's been 30 years but she's still suffering.

After the accident, Jungkook became colder to her. He ignored her and treated her like nobody.

He became colder and ruthless the day their son's death.

The worse thing is, Jungkook cheated on her and divorce her.

He left her for another woman. Yes, he really left her.

He abandoned her.

Even the Jeon's family were angry at her. They threw her away like a trash.

' You're the reason why Jungwoo died. From now on you are no longer part of this family! Get out! '

That's what Mrs. Jeon had told her. They all blamed her. They didn't even realized that she was also suffering and grieving.

Jungkook didn't realized the pain she was feeling at the moment. He should be on her side and comfort each other for their son's death and not like what he had done.

Because of his anger towards his wife. He became a different man. He changed. He cheated on her and left her instead of comforting each other.

After he left her. Y/n was left in their old house. She stayed their because of her son's memory.

She doesn't want to leave this place. She will stay here until she die.

The next day, y/n was walking at the hallway and every person that she would pass they would bow and greet her in respect.

Yes, y/n owns a very famous agency in korea. Despite the things that she had been through. She became successful and rich.

But this doesn't make her happy. Her success doesn't make her happy.

She still preferred to be with her son and her husband than this.

Upon arriving at the meeting room. She sat down and froze in her seat as she look at the person infront of her.

The person that she didn't expect to see again after 30 years.

But there he is. Standing confidently infront of everyone. His eyes were cold and emotionless as he stare at her.

He still had those hatred and anger in his eyes.

But she couldn't deny the fact that she miss him so much. She look away as she find herself starting to get emotional.

She blink a couple of times and wipe her tears before she slowly look at him again.

Jungkook sigh and focus on everyone.

" Good Morning. I am Jeon Jungkook. The owner of the Jeon Company and I am here to sign a contract about the partnership of the Jeon Company and Jung's Agency line. "

Everyone started to whisper while looking at her then back to jungkook. Well, everyone knows about what happened to you and Jungkook.

After a couple of hours. You signed the contract with Jungkook. He was silent the whole time as he sign the contract one by one.

He didn't even glance at her and talk to her. He just focused on what he was doing.

After a few minutes. Everyone left the room and it is just her and jungkook.

Jungkook stood up and was ready to exist the room when she called him.

" Jungkook.. "

He didn't look at her. He just stood there. Y/n eyes is starting to get teary again as she stare at his back.

The man that she missed. She missed him so much. She wanted to run to him and hug him tight and tell him how much she loves him.

But his anger is blocking her.

" If you want to say something then go. You are wasting my time. "

He said coldly while his back is still facing her. Y/n took a deep breath and wipe her tears.

" I'm sorry... about our son. Believe me.. It was an accident. I didn't want that to happen too. "

" Accident or not. I don't care. You were still the reason why he died. "

He reply coldly and firmly.

" Jungkook... I-- "

She stop when jungkook turn around and glare at her.

" Look. If you're trying to get back to me. Don't even try. I'm married and I have 3 children. I am happy with my new family and I don't want to ruin it and I won't let anyone ruin my marriage. "

He said coldly and tears flow down her eyes. He got married to his mistress. The woman who seduced her husband and took him away from her.

" Yesterday.... I-It was-- "

" Yeah I know it was his 30th Death anniversary. You don't have to remind me. I can remember everything about him. His happiness, his laughter, his smile. And his last words. I can remember it all. I will never forget him. "

" Jungkook... "

" Don't. Don't say a word. "

He said coldly.

" I am not here for you. I am here for business. Let's just pretend that we don't know each other. I am here for work and not for you. I hope we can keep it that way. "

He said with no emotion in his face. Y/n control her tears before she slowly nodded.

" I am looking forward to work with you.... Ms. Jung. "

He said coldly and left the room without seeing how miserable she is. How she burst into tears and how she cried her heart out in pain.

She accept it already that she will die alone now.

The man who she thought will stay with her forever. The man who keeps on showering her with his love.

But now, he is a different person. He left her. He have his own family now.

Who says love exist?

That's what she thought. She thought she will be happy with him for the rest of her life but she just felt sadness and pain from him.

Y/n woke up when she felt someone hovering her and keeps on pestering her with his sweet kisses.

She groan and turn away to avoid his kisses. But of course that didn't stop the naughty husband.

" Aish! Jungkook, stop it. I'm still sleepy.. "

She whine and tried to push her husband away from her but he is too strong.

" Wake up, yeobo.. Jungwoo is here with Mina and of course with our naughty grandson. Come on. Wake up. "

Y/n groan and she slowly sit and glare at her husband who just grin. He lean in and kiss her forehead.

" Good morning, my sunshine. "

She instantly melted at his sweet words and smile at him.

" Good morning, my husband yeobo. "

Jungkook smile and peck her lips.

" Go on. Take a shower and I'll be downstairs. They are waiting. "

Y/n nodded as she ready herself. After a few minutes. She went downstairs and she jisoo playing with sehun.

Jungwoo and mina's son.

Yes, their son got married 5 years ago and sehun was their first grandchild.

She smile as she approach jisoo and sehun.

" Hello there, my baby. "

Sehun immediately lift his head up and smile happily when he saw her.

" Grandma! "

He run to her and hug her tight.

" Grandma. You should had come with us in Switzerland. I saw a lot of toys there and Appa bought me a lot of toys and foods. "

" Of course, grandma. But next time please come with us. With auntie Jisoo and grandpa. "

She smile and mina call sehun fromcthe backyard and Jungwoo went to her and he hug her and kiss her forehead.

" Omma, sorry for not visiting you and appa for awhile."

" That's okay, son. I am happy that you can still spend time with us despite your busy schedule. "

" Of course Omma. I always have time to visit you and appa. You guys are more important than my work. "

Y/n smile at her son. Those words she heard it before from Jungkook and now Jungwoo is using it. It makes her happy.

Jungwoo said in a teasing voice as he saw Jungkook walk inside the living room.

Jisoo laugh at her brother's words as Jungkook glare at them.

" Just laugh.. you two are making fun of your appa. "

Jisoo immediately shook her head and hug her father.

" Of course not, appa. Even if you're old you are still handsome. "

Jisoo said sweetly at their father while stroking his hair.

" Appa, you look more handsome today. "

She keeps on complimenting jungkook as y/n shook her head. She already knew her daughter's strategy.

" So I'm ugly before? "

Jungkook asked with a poker face making jisoo immediately shook her head.

" Of course not, appa. You will always look handsome in my eyes. You don't look too old for me. "

Jungkook stare at jisoo flatly as he raises his eyebrow.

" I already knew you, Jisoo-ah. You need something, do you? "

He asked with a poker face making Jungwoo burst into laughter.

" Your style is old, little sis. We already knew your strategy. "

Y/n laugh in return as jisoo glare at jungwoo.

" Shut up. "

She said firmly and face jungkook with a pout.

" Can I come over at my friends house? We have a slumber party. Can I, appa? "

Jungkook smile sweetly at jisoo and her face immediately lit up in hope and excitement.

She thought jungkook would say yes but jungkook's smile drop and he shook his head in disapproval.

" Wha--? I thought you are going to say yes? "

Jisoo asked in shock as jungkook grin at her.

" I didn't say anything, Jisoo-ah. No is my answer. You are not going to join that so-called-slumber-party of yours. You are going to stay here. The. End. "

He said in a strict voice making jisoo pout.

" B-But appa.. I'm already 28 years old. "

She tried to reason and Jungkook stare at her flatly and raises his eyebrow.

" So? What do you mean by that? "

Jisoo pouted.

" Nothing. I will just stay here then. "

She said in a low voice with a puppy eyes making jungkook smile.

" Good. Stay here and help your mother. Your brother and I have an important matter to discuss. "

He inform her as she nodded. Jungkook approach y/n and kiss forehead.

" Stay here with Jisoo. I have an important matter to discuss with jungwoo, okay? We will be back before dinner. "

Y/n just nodded with a smile and jungkook walk towards the door.

" Bye, little sis. Enjoy doing some house chores.  "

Jungwoo said in a teasing voice. Showing his teasing smile which made jisoo irritated and gritted her teeth.

" You! "

Before she could chase her brother, jungwoo already run outside making her shook her head at their kids.

Despite their age, they are still acting like a little kids.

Jisoo stomped her feet on the ground with an irritated look. Y/n just laugh at her reaction and went towards the backyard where Mina and Sehun is.

Later that night, after their family dinner. Y/n and Jungkook are now staying inside their room.

" What are you looking at? "

Jungkook asked y/n when he step outside the bathroom and he saw her holding something

" Oh nothing. It's just our family photo. "

Y/n said and put back the photo at the nightstand. Jungkook went to his wife and lay beside her.

" They are still acting like a little kids. "

Y/n said after a few minutes of silence. Jungkook chuckled.

" Yeah.. jungwoo is such a big teaser. He loves to tease his sister so much. "

" Yeah. And jisoo is still a spoil brat. I wonder when will she stop being a spoil brat? "

Y/n said and jungkook just shook his head.

" Well, I think she won't stop being a spoil brat. "

Y/n playfully rolled her eyes at Jungkook.

" Yeah I know. In fact, you're the reason why she gets spoiled. You always gives her everything she wants. "

Jungkook just smile.

" Well, you know me, yeobo. I love spoiling our kids. It's my way of showing them how much I love them. "

She raises her eyebrow.

" Oh yeah? Can you still remember the time when Jisoo was just 6? We went to England to visit Jennie and Taehyung. Then we went to a store and she saw a very expensive doll. I was not planning to buy it for her eventhough I have money because she still have a lot of toys stock in her room. "

Jungkook just chuckled.

" Yeah and I could remember how she threw tantrum that time. It was embarrassing but it was cute. "

" Cute? How can you call her cute? She's a brat. You spoiled her. I actually had money but I still didn't bought it because she had a lot of toys but you... "

She glare at him which he just grin in return.

" You still bought it eventhough I already told you don't. "

Jungkook laugh.

" Well, what can I do? She's throwing tantrum and you know how much I hate it when I see my kids crying. "

Her face soften. Yes, just like her. She couldn't afford to see her kids crying in pain.

" So I bought it in order for her to stop crying. "

" I know you love our kids but you spoiled them too much. Jungwoo was a spoiled brat before but he became independent the time when he started to work. But jisoo, she didn't change, even a bit. She's still a spoil brat and it's your fault for spoiling her too much. "

Jungkook sigh and smile to her and pull her in his warm embrace.

" Yeobo.. Just like what I had said. It is my way of showing them how much I love them. But of course there are times that I have to discipline them and to be strict to them. "

She agree to her husband. Yes, he gives them everything they want but there are times that jungkook is strict when it comes to their kids.

They were silent for a couple of minutes until she broke it.

" It's been 38 years since we got married. "

She said and sigh while her head is in his chest and his arms are wrapped around her.

" Yeah. And that 38 years is the best thing happens in my life. My life filled with happiness inside that 38 years and I am planning to keep it that way. "

" Me too.. "

" Just like what I had promise. I will love you till my last breath. "

She lift her head up and smile at her husband.

" I love you.. "

Jungkook smile at her and kiss her forehead.

" I love you too, yeobo. "

Y/n smile and closes her eyes as jungkook close his eyes with a smile.

He hug her tighter as she slowly fell asleep in his warm embrace.

Trust God and everything will come to an happy ending.

Things might not be easy but it will be worth it at the end.
