" I told you.. You should rest, you don't need to cook dinner for her and beside I told you I will order foods. "

Jungkook said in a protective tone while watching his wife who is placing a plates on the table.

" Jungkook it will be rude and disrespectful if I won't interact with jennie and besides, why would you order food if I can cook? It will be just a waste of money. "

Jungkook sigh deeply.

" Fine. But tell me if you're tired, okay? I don't want you to work too much. "

Y/n just nodded in return. Then they both heard a knock on the door.

Jungkook went to the door and there stood jennie with a smile.

" Hey, couz. "

She said cheerfully and hug him. Then she glare at him.

" Why did you changed your mind? I told you to come over at my place. "

" I can't leave my wife alone at home. "

" I thought you have a maid? "

" She'll arrive here tomorrow. "

" Oh, okay. So where's your wife? "

She asked while peeking at his back.

" She's in the kitchen.. "

He inform then she went inside as jungkook close the door.

" Wow.. Y/n-ah. You're really good at cooking. "

Jennie compliment while eating the food she prepared. Y/n just smile shyly in return.

" Thank you. "

She's still embarrassed at the fact that she got jealous at jungkook's cousin. Luckily, jennie have no idea at all.

" Anyway, Jennie. When are you going back to England? "

Jungkook asked and drank his wine. Jennie stop eating and bit her bottom lip.

" Well.. About that... Uhm... I don't know. I was planning to stay here for a couple of months. I just started my business and I was planning to enhance it.. I was also thinking to put a boutique here in Seoul and I wanted to stay here for a couple of months because I really miss tae-- I--I mean S-Somi... since I never bond with her since I left.. "

She said slowly and blink a couple of times. Y/n raised her eyebrow at jennie.

Did she just mentioned.. Taehyung?

Y/n can sense that there is something else that jennie want to talk about. But she could tell that she's hesitating.

Jungkook cleared his throat and got all serious.

" Are you sure that's the real reason? "

Jungkook said in a suspicious tone. Jennie look up to him and nodded with a reassuring smile.

" Of course. What else do you think the reason I'll stay here? You know somi and I are very close. "

She chuckled nervously and drink her wine.

" Or you just wanted to see taehyung. "

Jennie spit out the wine in her mouth due to shock at jungkook's words.

" Oh my god! I'm so sorry.. "

Jennie apologize in embarrassment to them while wiping her mouth with a handkerchief.

" It's okay.. "

Y/n said with a reassuring smile while looking Jennie who looks nervous. She glance at her husband and jungkook has no reaction at all. He was just sitting there the whole time with a poker face.

" Answer me, Jennie. Tell me the truth. "

Jungkook said in a serious tone. Jennie look away. Y/n averted her gaze to jungkook then back to Jennie. She can sense the tension between this two.

" Answer me. "

This time jungkook said it in a firm voice making her answer it quickly.

" Look, he's not the reason why I came back, okay? I already forgot about him the moment I left Korea. "

Jennie said and look away like she's avoiding further question from jungkook.

Something is up with this two.

" Just make sure that this has nothing to do with him or else you know what will happen, Jennie.. Uncle Kim will be very angry at you again. I guess you can still remember what happened. "

Jennie blinks a couple of times before she sigh sadly.

" I know.. You don't need to remind me, okay? "

Jennie said slightly irritated and rolled her eyes.

There was a silent for a couple of seconds before they heard a phone rings.

Jungkook grab his phone from his pocket and stood up.

" Stay here. I'll be back. "

He inform, she nodded and he kiss her hair.

When jungkook left y/n and Jennie were quite. Jennie can't even look at her in the eyes.

Y/n sigh deeply.

" Uhm.. Jennie? "

Jennie slowly look at her.

" Mmh?? What is it? "

" I hope you don't mind.. But can I ask you something? "

She said slowly. Jennie nodded with a smile.

" Sure. "

" Even if it's personal? "

She said and bit her bottom lip. Jennie got silent for a couple of seconds then she nodded.

" Uhhmm.. Earlier if I am not mistaken.. D-did you just mentioned tae? I mean taehyung? "

She said in a calm voice. When she mentioned about taehyung, Y/n saw how her expression changed. Jennie's eyes.... They are filled with sadness and pain.

Y/n quickly regret it. She knew something happened.

" I-I'm sorry.. You don't have to answ-- "

" It's okay... I mean, I wouldn't mind since your my cousin's wife. You're part of our family now.. "

Jennie said softly and smile to her. But her smile looks sad.

" Uhmmm.. Did something happened before? I can sense the tension earlier. "

She stated the fact as jennie sigh deeply.

" Tae..... He's uhm.. "

Jennie took a deep breath.

"....He's my ex-boyfriend. "

Jennie said slowly and look down making her eye widen in shock. She couldn't believe it.

" W-what? "

Jennie look up to her with her teary eyes.

" I left him 6 years ago.. I didn't want to leave him.. but I have to. "

Jennie said sadly with tears in her eyes. Y/n was silent as she listened to her story.

" My dad was so angry when he found out about me and taehyung's relationship. H-He told me to broke up with him but I refused. I love taehyung so much.. That's why I fight for him till the end. But then I received a call from dad... My mom had a car accident 6 years ago.. "

Jennie burst into tears making her eyes teary as well.

" T-Taehyung wasn't there with me when I received the call... I wasn't in the right mind that time.. All I could think of was my mom who was suffering at the moment. So I left taehyung without a word or letter and I bought a ticket and I immediately went back to England.. B-But.. When I got there I was too late.. My mom was already dead. "

Jennie said in between her sobs.

" Dad blamed me of what happened.. He told me that mom was supposed to follow me in Korea but she got into an accident.. I was so angry at myself.. Dad was right.. It was all my fault because I chose to stay in Korea to be with taehyung.. "

Jennie stare into her eyes with so much pain.

" I'm so selfish, right? Because of me.. my mom died. After that, I never left England again.. I stayed in England for 6 years.. Taehyung even called me and texted me for a thousand times but I never answered one of his calls even though I really wanted to.. I punished myself, I don't deserve to be happy because of what happened. I didn't left my room, I grieved for almost a year until I finally moved on. But the pain is still in my heart. My dad still hates me.. I will forever pay for my mistake. "

Jennie was crying the whole time. Y/n tears fall down. She knew how hard it is to loose a parent. That's why she understand jennie. She's been in her situation before.

And until now she can still feel the pain in her heart.

Jennie wiped her tears and look into her eyes and smile sadly.

" I'm sorry for making you cry.. My story is really painful and sad.. "

Jennie pressed her lips together to stop her tears.

" Please stop crying... Jungkook will kill me if he sees you like this. "

She joke making her chuckled a little. Y/n wipe her tears.

" I'm sorry.. It's just that I can feel how painful it was for you.. Iunderstand how you feel because I also lost my parents. I'm sorry if I get too emotional.. "

She said as she wipe her tears.

" That's okay. I'm glad that someone understand what I feel. "

They both smile to each other then they shared a each others story until slowly they realized that they are starting to build a new friendship.
