Y/n and jungkook are now sitting infront of each other. She couldn't even speak, she's still in shock and confuse.

This is a dream, right?

She wanted to slap herself to wake up in her dream. But before she could she heard him talk after a long silence.

" I know you're shock for my sudden appearance. And about what happened, I'm sorry.. "

He said sincerely making her jaw drop in shock. Jungkook never apologize. Y/n blink a couple of times before she nodded.

" I-It's okay.. I understand and about the divorce papers.. "

She sigh before she continue.

" ... I will sign it if that is what really the best for us. I mean, you were right. Marriage is only for those people who love each other. We were forced to marry each other because of our baby. "

She look down.

" So.. Don't worry, I will sign it as soon as you'll give me the divorce papers. "

She said in a low voice. It's hurting her. She doesn't want to let him go, she doesn't want to give up this marriage because her heart said so. She have feelings for jungkook.

But she doesn't want to be selfish. Jungkook doesn't love her, she has to accept it. It will be unfair to jungkook if she's the only one who is happy in their marriage while he doesn't feel the same way.

This is the right thing to do.

" Are you sure you really want to divorce me? "

He said in a soft voice making her look up at him. She notice that his tone was sad and hurt.

But why?

She raised her eyebrow at him in confusion.

" B-but this is what you want, right? You said you wanted a divorce then I'll give it you. I respect your decision. This isn't want you want. You never wanted to marry me in the first place. I don't want to stay with someone who doesn't even want me. I know myself worth, jungkook. "

She stare into his eyes making her taken aback at what she saw. His eyes were filled with sadness.

She gulp before she continued.

" A-and don't worry about the baby. I can take care of him by myself. I'm not gonna be selfish to our baby, I'll make sure that he will know about his father. "

After a long silent jungkook finally spoke.

" How can you think that way, y/n-ah? "

He said in his hurtful voice making her stare at him in totally confuse.

" What do you mean? "

" You think this is what I want? You want my child to grow up without a father beside him? "

He shook his head while staring at her deeply.

" No, I won't let that happen. I'm not gonna leave my child. Your words are hurting me. You think I will not be a good father, y/n-ah? "

Y/n shook her head.

" No.. That's not what I meant, jungkook. You said it to yourself you wanted a divorce and I'll give it to you and when we get divorce it only means one thing, we will not stay in the same roof so I need to leave and have my own life. But that doesn't mean that I won't let you be a father to our child. Of course I want it. It's for our baby. "

She explained but he kept silent and stare at her like he's reading her. Y/n sigh before she spoke.

" I'm letting you divorce me because I respect your decision. I will wait for the divorce papers to come and I'll sign it as soon as I receive it. "

She said, trying her hardest to not cry infront of him and beg him to not dicorce her. She doesn't want to divorce him. But he wants it. She couldn't do anything but to agree.

She stood up and was about to leave when she heard him say.

" I'm not gonna divorce you. "

She froze in her tracks. Jungkook took a deep breath before he stood up and face her.

" W-what?? "

Jungkook sigh and walk closer to her and he caressing her cheeks making her flinch. Then he stare straight into her eyes before he spoke.

" I said.. I'm not gonna divorce you. Not now. Not ever. End of discussion. "

He said and leave her there dumbfounded.

Y/n blink a couple of times trying to process everything in her head.

What just happen?

After jungkook walked out from the living room. He went straight to the backyard where her family is.

He needs to talk to them to clear everything.

They were sitting on the bench and he went to them.

" May I sit? "

He asked politely. Her grandmother look up at jungkook before she slowly nodded.

Jungkook sat down infront of them then he cleared his throat.

" Sorry for not introducing myself properly, ma'am. My name is Jeon Jungkook, I am 30 years old and I am the owner of the JEON's Company. I am the husband of your granddaughter, Jeon Y/n. "

He said politely. They didn't reply, they were just staring at him, unmoving. He sigh.

This is so f*cking awkward.

He though in his mind and he knew they were angry at him because of what he did.

" Look. What I did was really wrong. I admit it. I did it because I was selfish. I hurt y/n because I doubted her. I judge her without knowing her true personality. I'm sorry.. "

He said sincerely while staring into her grandmother's eyes. She didn't reply, she still had those coldness in her eyes as she stare at him.

Jungkook took a deep breath before he continue.

" I have a past that's why I was afraid to trust her. I am sorry... I will be truly thankful if you forgive me and let me take her back but if you don't.. "

He stare at her grandmother's eyes.

".. I will still take her with me. Because she is my wife, she is carrying our child and I have the right to own her because she's mine. "

Her grandmother sigh before she signal to kai to leave them alone so they can talk properly.

As soon as kai went inside she look at him with coldness in her eyes.

" What you did to y/n is unforgivable. You hurt her, I saw pain in her eyes when she went home and cried. She told me everything that happened. "

She said firmly.

" As her grandmother, I am very angry at what I had found out. She's been struggling, she's having a very hard time just to give us everything we need. I thought she married the right person. But I was wrong. You don't know her, you don't know what she'd been through.... "

Jungkook look down and he was silent as he listen to her. He felt guilty even more.

" .... She was only 19 when an accident happened. "

Her statement made him look up to her quickly. He stare at her in confuse.

" A-accident? What do you mean? "

She took a deep breath.

" Y/n was a happy child back then. She have her mother and father. They were a one whole happy family. Her parents love her so much, they give her everything she needs. They showered her with love and happiness. Until one night... "

Her eyes are starting to get teary as she's having a hard time to tell him.

" One night.. Y/n was in her study room when she heard an explosion on the kitchen. I heard it too. Then I saw our kitchen burning. I quickly ran to kai's room and grab him. I saw y/n running towards the hallway, she looked so scared. Then an explosion was heard again... Y/n scream in fear. Her father took us outside and he went back to save her mother but it was too late. Another explosion was heard and that time. The house was full of fire. Y/n was hoping that her parents would come out alive again but it never happened. She cried and cried. She begged god to save her parents. "

Her tears rolled down as jungkook eyes filled with tears.

She wipe her tears and stare at him.

" I know it wasn't an accident. It was the guy who was in prison, and y/n's father was the one who win the case against the criminal. He was declared to be in prison. Her father was a lawyer. He was a very good and powerful lawyer. Before that accident happened. We always received a death threats from that guy. Even y/n received those. Do you know that she got kidnapped? "

His eyes widen in shock. He remain silent as his mouth widen in shock.

" I guess she didn't tell you. "

She sigh.

" H-how? How did she got kidnapped? "

She stare at him with her sad eyes.

" Before the accident happened. Y/n was at her school that time. It was already afternoon and it was time to go home and y/n's father was waiting outside the gate. He kept on waiting for her but she never come out. Until the guards told him that there was no one inside. All the students already got home but he didn't saw y/n. He went home, then he asked me if y/n was in her room and I told him that she wasn't home yet.... I saw how his expression changed. I saw his eyes were filled with worried. He called y/n's friend but they told him but y/n wasn't with them... Until. "

Her stop for a couple of times before she gulp hard.

" Until.. We received a call from unknown number.. T-they said y/n was with them and they kidnapped her. I saw how livid and angry her father was. And they told him to remove all the evidence that he was holding against his opponent and let him free from prison or else they will kill her.. He did what he was told to do, for the sake of his daughter. Then after 4 days, we finally got her back. She was full of bruises which made her father furious. I was furious too. Y/n doesnt deserve that. She was just an innocent girl, but how can they do that to her? "

She said in anger while her eyes if full of tears. His tears fell down, he didn't expect everything. He never knew that she'd experienced those things.

" After we took her back, y/n had a trauma. She was even afraid to leave the house. She was starting to avoid people, even her friends.. Every night she would have a nightmare. Then an anxiety attack.. "

She stare at him.

" See? See how dark her past is? She's been through hell. She's a fighter, but how come you did that to her? After her parents died, y/n changed. She stopped studying for the sake of us. She fight her anxiety attack for us. She became a strong and brave woman. She forget herself just to take care of us. She's a good woman jungkook. She's not that kind of a woman that you accused her. She's a good woman, she will do everything for us. I know her parents are proud of her. "

She look down and took a deep breath. Then she look at him again.

" Now that you knew everything. I know you realize now that you were wrong about her. If you want to keep her with you, please don't hurt her. I don't want her to get hurt again. Please.. "

She beg while satring into his eyes. Jungkook nodded with a sad smile.

" Don't worry. I will take care of her. I won't let her experience those things again. I will protect her as long as I live. "

Her grandmother sigh in relief and nodded. Then she gave him a small smile.

" Do you perhaps love her? "

She asked out of nowhere making him stilled and blinks a couple of times. Then she chuckled lightly.

" I know you love her. I mean, you wouldn't be here and beg me to forgive you so you can take her back. "

She stood up.

" You can take her back but if you hurt her again I'll make sure to not let you see her or your child. "

She threatened, jungkook stood up and nodded.

" Don't worry, I won't. "

She smile and went inside. Jungkook sigh and sat down on the bench.

He still couldn't believe at what he had found out.

Y/n was a genuine happy when she was with him, he didn't expect that she had a very dark past.

What he had found out made him realize how lucky he is, his mother is right. She's a good woman and she'll be a good mother to their child.

He was wrong that he judge her too quickly. He shouldn't have done that. She's different.

That makes him fall in love with her deeper. Yes, he loves her.

What he found out was enough to keep her, he'll protect her for as long as he'll live. He will love her with all his life.
