It has been a few weeks since Leam, Lucas, and Valerie had agreed to try to find Julian and Lucille a home in the town. Every family they had interviewed just wasn't fitting what Valerie wanted for the young children. Leam and Lucas slump into the couch after yet another rejection.
"I don't understand there has to be someone who can fit what I want them to have," Valerie says. "They have to be kind, and understanding and..and... Ugh!" She exclaimed and threw her hands into the air.
"I don't understand what was wrong with that family honey?" Lucas asked and placed his hand on hers.
"Yeah, they were nice, had another child, and looked totally experienced," Leam said.
"They looked incredibly fake friendly," Valerie said and pouted.
"This might sound like a crazy idea but what if we just have them live with us?" Lucas says slowly.
"Us...?" Valerie says and a mix of emotions formed on her face.
"Why not? You are kind, understanding and you have experienced abandonment as well." Leam says not wanting to go through any more families. But also knowing that Lucas was completely right.
"But I don't know if I'm going to be a good mother to my own child."
"Well, you have us Val and I know you are going to be a great mother," Leam says and Valerie smiles at them.
"But are you sure you guys are okay with this?" Leam and Lucas nod and Valerie hugs them and quickly runs to the hospital. She quickly stops one of the nurses with Leam and Lucas behind. Lucille and Julian were supposed to be sent to an orphanage today due to the fact they had no family.
"Why they are about to load onto the bus for the orphanage."
"Where! Where is the Bus?!" The nurse looked terrified by the crazed look Valerie had on her face and pointed down the hall with doors at the end. Valerie quickly runs down the hall bursting through the doors seeing the last of the kids boarding on.
"Wait! Stop!" She shouts as the doors remain open. She walks up the steps.
"What are you doing here Luna?" The driver asks and then her eyes widen when she sees the Alphas behind her.
"Lucille? Julian? Where are you guys?" Lucille runs down the aisle with her floppy pink bunny and hugged her.
"Val!" Julain came quickly following behind Lucille.
"Lucille! How many times do I have to tell you to stay put?" Julian said huffing.
"How would you like to come live with me and my mates?"
"Really?!" Lucille exclaims and had the brightest smile.
"And Of course Julian will be coming as well," Valerie said looking at the young boy in the eyes. He gave a slight smile as Lucille looked at him.
"Please?" She said to him.
"Okay." He said quietly. Valerie smiled widely and picked up Lucille.
"Well come on you two, let's go home." She takes Julian's hand and walked off the bus to where Leam and Lucas waited. They kneeled down to Lucille and Julain and Introduced themselves.
When they arrived at the house Valerie saw a friendly face that she hadn't seen in a while.
"Khloe?!"
