Valerie wakes up in excruciating pain and gives out a small whimper but the pain was increasing every second. She climbs over Leam and falls onto the ground and began to scream. Leam and Lucas bolted out of bed as she screamed and clawed at her shoulder and chest.

"What's wrong Val! Speak to us!" Leam said rushing to help her with her pain. But she couldn't do anything but scream in agony. She felt her skin being burned into and then a searing pain in her jaw. She begins to scream louder and her back arches off the ground. She began to sweat profusely as she began to taste blood in her mouth and suddenly two of her teeth popped out and she chokes on it. She spins off her back and spits it out continuing to scream as fangs grew in replacing the teeth that fell out and her skin stopped burning to leave behind black marks on her skin.

On her Shoulder was a weird symbol on her arm that looked like a sun and on her chest was something written in some different language. Valerie lay on the ground panting in a puddle of sweat as tears ran down her face.

"Oh My God! What the hell happened Val!?" Leam asked her holding her hand that was limp.

"Jesus Val," Lucas said wiping her head with a wet cloth."Wait what's this?" Lucas pointed at the sun shape mark that had claw marks around it from her clawing at it.

"When did she get a tattoo?" Leam asked looking at it closer.

"What the hell happened here?" Alex came into the room seeing her Valerie on the ground. "I just came to see my two best friends and find them with a girl sweating on the ground."

"What the hell are you talking about Alex?! You did this to me!" Valerie said through her clenched teeth.

"What do you mean? I just got here."

"Wait if you got here then who was the guy who.." Lucas trails off.

"Holy Shit," Leam says.

"What am I missing here?" Valerie groans through her slowly fading pain.

"Asher," Alex says calmy and begins to pace. "But that can't be possible because that means someone would have found our hiding place and you two and I are the only one who knows..." He continues.

"Can someone tell me what the hell he is talking about before I punch him again." She says as she slowly sits up as the pain begins to fade faster. Suddenly Alex gasps looking at Valerie. He goes up to her and grabs her arm and looks at the mark on her shoulder.

"You better let me go before I punch you." She snaps at him.

"Is this tattoo?" Alex demanded looking at Valerie intensely. "Where did this come from?"

"I SAID LET GO!" She says and slams him against the wall by his throat and bare her fangs without realizing it. She quickly let him go and retracted across the room and slammed into the wall going faster than a normal werewolf. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to. I..uh."

"What did he do to you?" Lucas asks as Leam helped Alex off the floor. Valerie begins to sob and Lucas hugs her. Her head on his neck and there was something that smelled really good. She could hear the blood rushing through Lucas's veins. She slowly begins to open her mouth.

"WATCH OUT LUCAS! SHE'S ABOUT TO BITE YOUR NECK!" Leam shouted. Lucas pulls away and Valerie lunges at him uncontrollably. Suddenly she was slammed against the wall by Alex.

"Let me go I'm starving!" Valerie yelled at him and growled.

"Oh god," Alex said. "Did Asher have you drink his blood?" Valerie looked at him confused for a second and then nodded slowly.

"What is it, Alex!?" Leam demanded.

"He turned her into a hybrid. She needs to drink blood in order to live otherwise.."

"She will die?" Lucas asked. Alex nodded.

"She can have my blood!" Leam said and stepped forward.

"Do you understand she could drink you dry? She doesn't have control of her hunger yet. Her thirst." Alex says to him.

"I understand. It is a risk I'm willing to take."

"But Leam she-" He cuts off Lucas.

"I can't let her die. We don't have much time we can't wait to find a person for her to feed. Besides werewolf blood fills them faster right?' He asks Alex and he nods. "Not only that she has our baby in her."

"Let me-" Lucas tries again.

"We don't have time to argue." He holds his wrist to Alex and Alex sighs and pulls out a gold knife and cuts a slit and Valerie immediately tried to attack him. Alex grabs her and looks her in the eyes.

"Do not forget you love him very much and you are pregnant with his child." His pupils became bigger and smaller and so did hers.

"Okay." She said and walked towards Leam and took his wrist in her hand.

"Are you sure Leam?" He gives her a smile and she lowers her lips to his wrist. She sank her fangs into his wound that hadn't healed due to the gold knife and began to drink his blood. Valerie's mouth filled with his warm, thick blood. His blood tasted so good to her and she began to drink faster and more.

"Valerie that's enough!" Alex said to her. But she couldn't stop it tasted so good. Leam began to groan from the pain. "Do something Lucas! She'll listen to you!"

"Valerie! Valerie listen to me! You need to stop! You're going to kill him." Leam began to sink to his knees. "Valerie I love you!" Valerie snapped back and stopped.

"Oh God Leam! Are you okay?" She sinks to her knees next to him and holds him in her arms. He smiles up at her.

"You stopped, didn't you. I'm proud." He said and reached up and touched her cheek. She smiled and cried tears of joy. Alex handed her an orange juice box.

"Oh, thanks but I'm really not a huge fan."

"Oh, that's sad. It not for you it's for Leam, not you. It will thicken his blood and help him regain strength."

"Oh well." She turned her back to him and open it. "Rude enough? Here Leam. Drink." She puts the straw to his mouth and he begins to drink it and she could see his strength recovering.

Valerie steps on a stick that snaps and she jumps at how loud the sound was. Everything about her senses was increased. They came up to a broken door in the forest floor. It was the one she had saw when she ran after she woke from her coma. They all started down the stairs but she had a bad feeling about down there. Leam turned back to her and offered his hand. At first, she was afraid she would hurt him but she was scared so she accepted.

They walked down the stairs their footsteps echoing.

"Leam," she whispered to him. "This place is giving me a bad vibe."

"Of course it is. This is where Asher's body was held. Asher was Alex's twin brother. We used to be all friends but one day he turned and stopped being good. He turned his emotions off and started being eviler. Alex couldn't bring himself to kill him so he stabbed him in the heart with a dagger that puts him in a deep sleep and we helped him hide the body." Valerie and Leam stepped onto level ground and a dim hallway was lit with torches.
