Just for a moment..this is actually how Jimin looks like in this book~

He swung hands with her back and forth while walking back to where he met her. He dreamed of this moment to walk and remember the things they did. The moment where he felt heartbroken and she was suicidal.

"Jennie."

She turns her head to Jimin. "Yes?"

"Do you remember where did we meet?" He asks while stepping on the line of the sidewalk.

Jennie smiles, "Seoul Park."

"What time did we meet?"

"Hmm..Around 8 or 9 in the evening?"

"Do you know how we met?" Jennie sighed.

"Why are you asking these questions?"

Jimin halted, turning his head towards her. "I have to tell you something." He pulled her hand, running towards an empty bench beside a tree.

He sat down as Jennie sat next to him. "So." She put her head on his shoulder. "What do you need to tell me about?"

Jimin wanted to tell her so bad the reason why he ran away. He wanted to tell her that he still loves someone else; that he thought of Jennie as a rebound. But all of it changed.

He knows how she will feel, how she will react. He didn't want to hurt her. She was lonely, and didn't have anyone to be comforted during those four years without him. Only Jimin knew her story, and he wanted to protect her. But he failed miserably, after leaving her because he loved someone far more than her.

"You sure are taking your time." Jimin consciously looked at her, before she leans and presses her lips against his. "If you can't say anything then I'll say something."

He raised a brow while smirking softly. "You already knew that I had an affair with a man that lured me. I was gullible. I believed his lies and began to go out with him." She pinned her eyes down the ground. "I lost my virginity to him; I shared my secrets with him, and he even took care of me when no one was there to."

She held a grip onto the wooden bend. "I thought my life was complete. I had a good intern job, good boyfriend, a lifelong paid house." She sighs. "Only to find out he was cheating on his wife with three kids." Jimin heard her voice crack. He pulled her head against his shoulder, allowing her to shed tears on his sweater. "A-And when I tried to cut ties off with him, his wife found out about me and began to.." Jimin pats her head while asking her to go on and tell it again. She sniffs, "-began to come straight to my house and attack me. S-She was saying all these words that I didn't think of myself be called. She left me bruises and cut her hair.."

She exhaled excessively. "Later that night, the police arrested me for committing adultery then-" He began to feel his sweater soaking wet from her tears. She sniffs again, "And then.." Jimin knew she couldn't talk anymore. Her heart was damaged enough from those years. So he continued it for her.

"Then he visited you in prison but he betrayed you. After two months, he dropped the charges and drove you somewhere far." He held her hand, intertwining as he speaks. "He sold your house, he told your coworkers you quit your job; he even told you he burned all your furniture, crashed your car, and gave clothes to his wife since then."

"Then he left you again with just a few bucks and a jacket. And that's where you begin to wander in Seoul Park. Eventually, I found you by the swings, crying all alone."

"I asked you why are you crying but you ignored me." Jimin wiped her tears with his sleeves. "Yet again, that didn't bother me, so I asked and asked until you threw a tantrum towards me."

She sneers while lifting her head to look at him, "I didn't throw a tantrum, I just yelled."

Jimin poked her nose, "And that's how I knew you were broken, more broken then I was." She pursed her lips while looking down. "Now since you told me that story again, I'll tell mine." She beamed softly.

"The reason why I felt so heartbroken was I saw someone I loved with someone who has been my best friend from eternity. I received an envelope of their wedding. I attempted to attend the wedding but I was so scared my stupid ass would do something to stop it and I would confess my love to the bride then run off with her." He inhales. "But that only happens in movies."

She chuckles, "I was just a few inches from going inside the church yet I didn't go and let my subconscious take over me. And this is where it led me to you." He kissed her head. "I'll be honest, I thought of you as a distraction to get over her. But all of it changed when you told me your story and you didn't know where to go. You didn't have a roof over your head and you didn't know this area." He pats her head once more, "So I took you in, not feeling ashamed of Hoseok who's always on the VR."

"Many things happened between us, and at the end, we were doing alright." He rests his head on hers. "And I'm so sorry for leaving you again..I was feeling lost. And I needed time for myself, I didn't think I would be ready to see my best friend or her when I didn't attend their wedding-"

"No..it's okay. I know how tough it can be. I was doing fine with a new job I got a few days ago. I have a new house that I'm on rent." He nodded while smiling at her.

"One question."

"Hmm?" She responds.

"Have you been seeing anyone while I was gone?" She pursed her lips. She knew this question was coming and didn't want to lie to him. She finally found a purpose to live while thinking of Jimin would one day be back. She was right. He did come back with a new image.

"Yeah, but he ended things with me." She says, "He was sweet but now that I realize, he probably has a wife or a girlfriend." She sneers.

"Did he treat you well while I was gone?" Jimin asks, not feeling reluctant towards this guy.

"Yeah." Jennie didn't want to mention when he threaten her. She recognized she had an affair somewhat far worse than her previous. She didn't want Jimin to find that guy or make him worry. This was only a secret between her alone.

"Good." He coaxes her chin, tilting his head slightly before brushing his lips against hers. She responded and kissed him back gently. He pulled away while gazing at her eyes. "From now on, I promise to not leave you like I did before. I'll marry you even if I have to stay with you forever."

He held her hand, and leaning forward for another kiss. She blocked him, "Let's take further things at my house."
