Today was the day, It was Noah's birthday.

I honestly didn't feel like doing anything for his birthday, especially after last night, but I already agreed to it.

I already stopped by the store and picked up some balloons and decorations. I also went to the bakery and picked up the cake and cupcakes Chanel had pre-ordered for him.

I was back home getting everything together, there was a knock on the door, and I walked over to it and opened it up.

A man was standing there, he had shoulder-length brown hair, small blue eyes, a flat nose, and a rounded jaw.

"Hello, Are you Tania?" He smiled.

"Yes, You must be Noah's friend, come in." I held the door open for him and he walked inside.

"Yes, I'm Jay, it's nice to meet you." He held his hand out and I shook it.

"Nice to meet you too, I was just getting everything together."

"Oh, need some help?" He took his coat off and hung it up.

"Sure." He walked over and started helping me put up the streamers and the happy birthday sign.

"So, did you live in Italy with Noah?"

"Yes, it kind of sucks that he moved but he did it for love so it's acceptable."

"Love huh?" I stopped and watched him "So not that it's any of my business but has Noah ever cheated on any of his other girlfriends before?"

"Hmm, should I be telling you?"

"I won't tell." I laughed.

"Well, No, he has never cheated on any of his girlfriends, Noah is the loyal type, once he's with someone all of his focus is on that one person."

"That's hard to believe."

"Why is it?"

"No reason." I went back to decorating.

"It's a weird question to ask someone you just met." He chuckled "Is there something you wanna tell me about my friend?"

"No."

"Okay."

There was another knock on the door, I walked over and opened it up.

"Hello, I am Nina, Noah's sister." She smiled.

"It's so nice to meet you, come in!" She walked inside and I closed the door behind her "He's gonna be so happy to see you, he told me a lot about you."

"So you must be Chanel then?"

"No, I'm her sister, I'm Tania." I smiled.

"Oh, well it's nice to meet you too, when will Noah be back?"

"My sister is gonna have him out until 6, just to make sure we're done getting everything done in time and to give enough time for his friends and family to arrive."

"Oh okay." She walked over to Jay "Hello Jay, nice to see you again." She hugged him.

"Hey." He hugged her back "How have you been?"

"I've been fine, I've moved to Atlanta with my boyfriend and we've been doing great."

While they chatted I finished getting everything ready. Again, someone knocked on the door.

I walked over to it and answered it, It was Rayven.

"Hey girl." She hugged me "I brought a gift for Noah."

"What is it?" I asked as she walked past me.

"It's just a bottle, I got him some Rosolio Di Bergamotto" She set it down on the table.

"Oh okay, well Rayven, this is Nina Noah's sister, and Jay Noah's friend from Italy."

"It's nice to meet you." She shook Nina's hand "And it's a real pleasure to meet you." She shook Jay's hand with a smirk.

"You too." He smiled.

"Me and you need to talk, in private." Rayven grabbed around my arm, we walked upstairs in the hallway.

"What is it?"

"So, you didn't tell me anything about you and Noah."

"You pulled me up here to ask about Noah?" I chuckled.

"Of course, I wanna know what happened between you both."

"Well, we did have sex."

"Oh my god!" She yelled "How was it? For some reason, I know that dick was good." She laughed.

"And that it was, But I basically told him yesterday that we shouldn't mess around anymore, he was pretty pissed off about that."

"Why would you tell him that?"

"Because I feel bad for Chanel, I know we've already done enough with each other and there's no way for me to take that back, I've fucked up, he's fucked up, and now we just have to pretend like nothing ever happened."

Rayven sighed "Well whatever you wanna do then okay, but like I said if the roles were reversed Chanel most definitely would have done the same."

"You don't know that."

"I do, and you know you're not gonna be able to leave that man alone, you're too caught up on him now, especially since you've both had sex."

"Well, I'm gonna have to try my best to."

It was about an hour later, More of Noah's family and friends arrived. Chanel texted me letting me know she and Noah were about to pull up in the driveway.

"Listen everyone, Noah is about to be here so everyone try to hide!" I yelled.

Everyone looked around for somewhere to hide, Once everyone was in their place I shut the lights off. The car pulled into the driveway and a couple of seconds later the door opened.

"Is Tania not home?" Noah asked as he shut the lights on.

"Happy birthday!" Everyone jumped up out of their hiding spots.

"Oh my god!" He looked around at all of the familiar faces.

"Happy birthday baby." Chanel smiled and kissed him.

"Thank you so much for this." He grabbed her And kissed her then pulled her into a hug.

"Of course, thank Tania too because she helped me."

"Thank you Tania." He pulled me into a hug.

I smiled "I hope you enjoy it."

"Noah!" His sister ran over to him and jumped on him hugging him.

"Hey sis, I haven't seen you in months." He tightly hugged her.

"Happy birthday." She smiled.

"Thank you."

"I do have some bad news, mom and dad weren't able to make it."

"Oh." He frowned "Why not?"

"They couldn't get a flight out here in time."

"I really wanted to see them both."

"I know you did, but at least you got the rest of your friends and family here."

"You're right, I don't wanna ruin the day" He smiled "Thank you everyone for coming to celebrate my birthday." He walked over to the table and grabbed a cup and poured him some liquor "Let's have us a good time!" He held the cup up.

It was about an half hour later, and Noah was chatting it up with all of his guests and catching up with them. I was sitting down chatting and having a drink with Rayven.

"I just don't get why you wait until you both have sex for you to say that you both can't do anything anymore, like it's a little too late for that."

"Ugh, please don't bring this up again." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm just saying." She sipped her drink "I'm gonna go use the bathroom real quick." She stood and walked upstairs.

I looked around at everyone having a good time, Chanel was following Noah around as he introduced her to a couple of his family members.

Jay walked over to me and sat down "You seem like you're not having a good time."

"Eh, Not really." I sipped my drink.

"Why not?"

"I'm just thinking about a lot." I looked down at my feet.

"As in Noah?"

"What?" I glanced at him "No."

"It's okay, you can tell me that you like him, You weren't asking me those questions today for no reason."

"Okay fine, can you keep a secret?" I asked.

He leaned in "You can trust me"

"Well, I have feelings for Noah, this isn't just one-sided, he has feelings for me too, I know the circumstances are fucked up only because he's dating my sister, I really don't know what to do, And we might have done a couple things too, but I told him that we can't anymore."

"That's the smartest thing to do, I don't think you both should have got involved in the first place."

"Yeah, but I let it happen so I'm just as bad."

"Well I think you should just be honest with your sister, let her know what's been going on before she finds out herself, if she finds out about it herself she's gonna be pretty pissed."

"She's gonna be pissed either way, she trusted me and I slept with her boyfriend." I whispered.

"Well yeah, she's gonna be pissed either way but she'll be less pissed if you tell her about it first."

I took a deep breath in and out "You're right."

"I know you're going through your own situation right now, but the real reason I came over here was because I wanted to get to know you better, I just don't wanna interfere if there's anything still going on between you and Noah." He smiled.

I looked over to Noah who was chatting with his sister, I watched as he had his arm around Chanel.

"Nothing is going on between me and Noah, So yeah you can get to know me." I smiled.

"That's good, I'm gonna be in New york for a week before I head back home to Italy so before I do I would love to take you out somewhere nice."

"Sure, wanna take down my number?"

"Okay." He pulled his phone out and handed it to me, I entered my phone number then handed him it back.

"You can just call or text me whenever, I'm available anytime."

"Okay cool."
